Abstract

ABSTRACTResearch on Inventory of Medicinal Herbs Around the Yard in Sentosa Village was conducted in March to April 2019 in Sentosa Village, Seberang Ulu II District, Plaju Palembang. The research aims to find out the types of medicinal plants around the yard, parts of plants used as medicine, and types of diseases that can be treated. The study uses descriptive survey methods and observation methods of interviews with local communities. The results of the study are based on the data obtained that medicinal plants in the yard of Sentosa Subdistrict, Seberang Ulu 2 District of Palembang from the Spermatopyta division consist of 2 classes, 13 families, 14 orders, 20 genera and 20 species of medicinal plants. Plant parts which are used as medicine from the monocotyledon class are rhizomes, roots and leaves because the rhizomes have active compounds, flavonoids, saponins, and essential oils, while the dicotyledone class part that is widely used as medicine is leaves, because many leaves contain compounds such as tannins, alkaloids, essential oils that are useful as drugs stored in the tissues of the leaves. Utilization of the most efficacious medicinal plant parts the highest percentage of leaves in 80%, while in the roots of 45%. Keywords: Inventory, house yard, medicinal plants. ABSTRAK Penelitian tentang Inventarisasi Tumbuhan Berkhasiat Obat Di Sekitar Pekarangan di Kelurahan Sentosa telah dilakukan pada Maret sampai April 2019 di Kelurahan  Sentosa  Kecamatan Seberang Ulu II Plaju Palembang. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis – jenis Tumbuhan Berkhasiat Obat di sekitar pekarangan, bagian tumbuhan yang dimanfaatkan sebagai obat, dan jenis penyakit yang dapat diobat. Penelitian menggunakan metode survey deskriptif dan metode observasi wawancara dengan masyarakat setempat. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan data yang didapatkan bahwa tanaman yang berkhasiat obat dipekarangan Kelurahan Sentosa Kecamatan Seberang Ulu 2 Palembang dari divisio Spermatopyta terdiri dari 2 class, 13 familia, 14 ordo, 20 genus dan 20 spesies tumbuhan berkhasiat obat. Bagian-bagian tanaman yang digunakan sebagai obat dari kelas monokotil adalah rimpang, akar dan daun karena rimpang memiliki senyawa aktif, flavonoid, saponin, dan minyak atsiri, sedangkan kelas dikotiledone bagian yang banyak digunakan sebagai obat adalah daun, karena pada daun banyak mengandung senyawa seperti tannin, alkaloid, minyak atsiri yang berguna sebagai obat yang tersimpan di jaringan pada daun. Pemanfaatan bagian tumbuhan berkhasiat obat persentasi tertinggi pada daun sebesar 80 %, sedangkan pada akar sebesar 45 %.

Abstract

Planting hydroponics is now an alternative as an effort to get around the limitations of the land. Hydroponics can be done with various techniques, one of which is a simple technique that is using the wick system by utilizing a bottle of used mineral water and husk charcoal as a planting medium. To introduce hydroponic technology with a wick system this training was conducted for students of Rejang Lebong 2 High School, by introducing the basic concepts of hydroponics, namely nursery, nutrition preparation, maintenance to harvesting. For seeding, seedlings are sown on Rockwall as a seeding medium. The results of the activity show that students are skilled at carrying out the stages of activities, so it can be concluded that the application of hydroponic farming techniques using the wick system is very good to be developed among high school students, as the application of science, technology, and entrepreneurship to the world of work, as well as the use of used goods, become highly efficient.

Abstract

The research to analysis the morphometric of rice fruit was carried out till April to November 2021, with the aim of studying the morphometric of rice fruit planted in community in Pulau Rimau District, Banyuasin Regency. Sampling was done by purposive on one plot in each area of rice varieties. Parameters observed in this study include the morphometric of rice fruit from 8 varieties, namely Inpari 32 HDB, Black Ketan, Cimelati, Ciasem, IR 42, Ciherang, IR 64 and Mapan 05. Morphometric was carried out by measuring the length and diameter of the fruit using a caliper with a caliper. clamping the ends of each rice variety, the width (diameter) was measured using a caliper at the center of the fruit for each rice variety on 50 rice plants per variety. The weight was weighed using an analytical balance. The results showed that structure of fruit are slender, long to short and medium slender. Fruit colours are yellow to grayish black, with diameter of 25 - 28 mm, an length of 7.9 - 10.3 mm, and weight is 1.11 - 1.49 grams

Abstract

Research on Weed Vegetation in  Cassava (Manihot esculenta) was carried out from March to April 2019 at a cassava plantation in East OKU Regency, South Sumatra. This study aims to determine the composition and structure of weeds in cassava plantations. This study used a quadratic method with 7 plots of 2 x 2 m in size. The parameters observed were density (K), relative density (KR), frequency (F), relative frequency (FR), Importance Value Index (INP) and Community Diversity Index (H '). The results showed 11 types of weeds, namely Ageratum conyzoides, Erechtites valerianifolia, Chromolaena odorata, Asystasia gangetica, Mimosa pudica, Boreria alata, Calapogonium caereuleum, Cleome rutidosperma, Physalis angulata, Cyperus rotundus, and Axonopus compressus. The dominant species was Ageratum conyzoides INP 47.43%. Species diversity is moderate with H 'value.

Abstract

AbstractResearch on the Morphological characteristics of fruit plants in Suka Damai Village, Tungkal Jaya District, Musi Banyuasin Regency, has been carried out from April 2021 to June 2021, aims to examine the types of horticultural plants through the morphological characteristics of roots, stems, leaves, flowers and fruit. This study uses a descriptive survey method by exploring the village area as many as 3 RT. Observations were made by looking directly at fruit horticultural plants and then recorded, photographed and then described the morphology. The results obtained 17 species are fruit plants. The species obtained had roots (Radix) with a fibrous root system (Radix adventicia) and a tap (Radix primaria). Stem morphology (Caulis) includes stem types, namely wet stems, grasses and woody. Leaf morphology (Folium) consists of single leaf (Folium simplex) and compound leaf (Folium compositum) with leaf structures including leaf shape (Circumscription) elongated (Oblangus), ovoid (Ovatus), lanceolate (Lanceolatus), sword (Ensiformis), triangle (Triangularis), heart (Cordatus), delta (Deltoideus), ribbon (Ligulatus), jorong (Ovalis). Flower morphology The flower morphology (Flos) is of single flower type (Planta unifloris), and compound flowers (Anthotaxis), which are found in the leaf axils (Flos axillaris) and leaf tips (Flos terminalis). The morphology of fruit (Fructus) was in the types of pseudo fruit (single pseudo, double pseudo, compound pseudo) and true fruit (buni fruit, stone fruit, box fruit, pod). Keywords: horticultural crops, plant morphology

Abstract

The study, entitled : Response Growth and Production of Maize ( Zea mays L ) Hybrids at Different Population Levels " . Aims to obtain an optimal population ( maximum production ) on corn hybrids , and review of the type of corn on the density of population of different levels . The research was conducted in October 2014 until June 2015 , housed in the land Agro Technology Center ( ATP ) Hyacinths Village , District Inderalaya , Ogan Ilir ( OI ) South Sumatra Province . The design used the design is divided ( Split Plot Design ) with two main plots , nine sub- plots and repeated 3 times . The results showed that the growth of hybrid corn varieties generally yield maximum production is achieved in a population of 80,000 / ha yield 7.1 tons / ha dry seed . Key words  : Response Growth, Production of Maize

Abstract

Research on Inventory the types of medicinal plants has been carried out in February-March 2015 in the village of Tanjung Baru district of Tanjung Batu Petai Ogan Ilir South Sumatra Province . The study aims to determine the types of medicinal plants are used and bian and the efficacy of the plant . Research using the direct orientation . The results showed that the types of medicinal plants divisio consists of 1 , 2 classes , 31 orders , 33 familia , 40 genera and 40 species. Parts of medicinal plants that are used as raw materials which have medicinal properties in the form of leaves, roots / rhizomes , stems , bark , fruit , flowers, seeds and sap . Abstract

Research on the potential of wild plants nutritious medicine around the yard has been done in September to November 2017 in Silaberanti Village Silaberanti District South Sumatra Province, which aims to determine the type of wild plants that have the potential nutritious medicine. The research method used descriptive survey method. Information gathering was done by interview method and 30 respondents. The results showed 25 families, 38 genera, and 38 species. Of the 38 species of wild plants that are often used by the community of 29 types of plants to treat 25 types of diseases treated. Utilization of the wild part of the plant is the most widely used by the community as a traditional medicine on the leaves, and all parts of plants compared with other plant parts. Utilization of wild plant part which most used by society as traditional medicine showed the highest percentage on leaf (55%), and on all parts of plant (31.6%). Keywords: potency, wild plants, yard                                                    ABSTRAK Penelitian tentang potensi tumbuhan liar berkhasiat obat di sekitar pekarangan telah dilakukan pada bulan September  sampai November 2017 di Kelurahan Silaberanti Kecamatan Silaberanti Provinsi Sumatera Selatan, yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis tumbuhan liar yang mempunyai potensi berkhasiat obat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan metode survey deskriptif. Pengumpulan informasi dilakukan dengan metode wawancara dan 30 orang responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 25 familia, 38 genus, dan 38 spesies. Dari 38 jenis tumbuhan liar yang sering digunakan oleh masyarakat yaitu 29 jenis tumbuhan untuk mengobati 25 jenis penyakit yang diobati. Pemanfaatan bagian tumbuhan liar yang paling banyak digunakan oleh masyarakat sebagai obat tradisional pada daun, dan seluruh bagian tumbuhan dibanding dengan bagian tumbuhan lainnya. Pemanfaatan bagian tumbuhan liar yang paling banyak digunakan oleh masyarakat sebagai obat tradisional menunjukkan persentase yang tertinggi pada daun (55%), dan pada bagian seluruh bagian tumbuhan (31,6%). Kata Kunci: potensi, tumbuhan liar, pekarangan

Abstract

Research on the utilization of ornamental plants of medicinal yard in Tanjung Batu Subdistrict has been conducted in March until May 2018 in Tanjung Batu, Tanjung Baru Petai, and Pajar Bulan Villages, Tanjung Batu Subdistrict, Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatera Province. The objective of the study was to find out the types of ornamental plants used, the part of the plant used as medicine, and the types of diseases that can be treated by ornamental plants. This research used direct orientation method. The results showed that medicinal plants consisted of 27 species, 29 genera, and 29 species. Part of medicinal plants used as raw materials that have medicinal properties in the form of leaves, roots, stems, skin, flowers, seeds, sap. Types of ornamental plants that are utilized as the most widely preserved drug in the village of Tanjung Batu was 68.96%, in Tanjung Baru Petai Village 62.06%, while the ornamental plant species used as medicine by the community of Pajar Bulan Village was 48.27 %. The percentage of ornamental plant used as medicines by Tanjung Batu sub-district was highest on the leaves (78.57%), while the lowest percentage of the sap was (6.10%). ABSTRAK Penelitian tentang Pemanfaatan Tanaman Hias Pekarangan berkhasiat obat di Kecamatan Tanjung Batu telah dilakukan pada bulan  Maret sampai bulan Mei 2018  di Desa Tanjung Batu, Desa Tanjung Baru Petai, dan Desa Pajar Bulan  Kecamatan Tanjung Batu Kabupaten Ogan Ilir Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis – jenis tanaman hias perkarangan yang dimanfaatkan, bagian yang dimanfaatkan sebagai obat, dan jenis-jenis penyakit yang dapat diobati oleh tanaman hias. Penelitian  menggunakan metode orientasi langsung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis-jenis tumbuhan hias berkhasiat obat terdiri dari 27 familia, 29 genus, dan 29 spesies.  Bagian tumbuhan obat yang digunakan sebagai bahan baku yang memiliki khasiat obat berupa daun, akar/rimpang, batang, kulit,  bunga, biji, gel dan getah. Jenis tanaman hias yang di manfaatkan sebagai obat yang paling banyak dipelihara di  Desa Tanjung Batu sebesar 68,96%, di Desa Tanjung Baru Petai sebesar 62,06%, sedangkan jenis tanaman hias yang dimanfaatkan sebagai obat oleh masyarakat Desa Pajar Bulan  sebesar 48,27%. Persentasi bagian tanaman hias yang dimanfaatkan sebagai obat oleh masyarakat kecamatan Tanjung Batu paling tinggi pada bagian daun sebesar (78,57% ), sedangkan persentase terendah pada bagian getah yaitu (6.10%). Kata Kunci: tanaman hias, berkhasiat obat, pekarangan, Desa Tanjung Batu, Tanjung Baru Petai, Pajar Bulan

Abstract

The research entitled: The Effect of Planting Distance on Growth and Production of Non Hybrid Maize (Zea Mays L) in the Land of Integrated Technology Agro Center (ATP) ". Aim to get the optimal spacing (maximum production) in non-hybrid corn. The study was conducted in February 2018 until July 2018, located at the Integrated Agro Technology Land (ATP), Bakung Village, Inderalaya District, Ogan Ilir District (OI), South Sumatra Province, South Sumatra Province. The design used was Completely Randomized Design with 27 treatment combinations which were repeated as many as 3 replications. The results showed that the use of rare spacing could increase the growth and production of corn plants, at spacing of 80 cm x 20 cm, and spacing of 100 cm x 50 cm x 20 cm, giving the best influence on the growth and production of corn plants, non hybrid Srikandi corn with the use of a spacing of 75 cm x 15 cm giving the highest yield of 4.9 tons / ha. ABSTRAKPenelitian yang berjudul : Pengaruh Jarak Tanam Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Produksi Jagung (Zea Mays L) Non Hibrida Di Lahan Balai Agro Teknologi Terpadu (Atp)”. Bertujuan untuk mendapatkan jarak tanam yang optimal (Produksi yang maksimal) pada jagung non hibrida. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada Februari 2018 sampai Juli 2018, bertempat di Lahan Agro Teknologi Terpadu (ATP), Desa Bakung, Kecamatan Inderalaya, Kabupaten Ogan Ilir (OI) Provinsi Sumatera Selatan Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Rancangan yang digunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan 27 kombinasi perlakuan yang diulang sebanyak 3 ulangan.. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pemakaian jarak tanam yang jarang dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman jagung, pada jarak tanam 80 cm x 20 cm, dan jarak tanam 100 cm x 50 cm x 20 cm, memberikan pengaruh terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman jagung, jagung non hibrida Srikandi dengan pemakaian  jarak tanam 75 cm x 15 cm memberikan hasil tertinggi sebesar 4,9 ton/ha . Kata Kunci : Pengaruh jarak tanam,  Pertumbuhan, Produksi, Jagung Non Hibrida
