Abstract

Media is needed in teaching so that students more easily understand the subject matter being taught. Learning media also includes a part of learning that influences teaching and learning interactions in the classroom. This study aims to determine the implementation of theme 5 infocus media on students of West Aceh MIN 16 and to determine student learning outcomes of West Aceh Min 16 theme 5 by using infocus media. This research is a class action research (CAR). Data collection was carried out directly by practicing learning using infocus media in two research cycles, namely cycle 1 and cycle 2. Based on the research results it can be concluded that the application of infocus media is proven to improve student learning outcomes in learning. This can be seen from the increase in student learning outcomes, namely in the initial conditions the percentage of student learning completeness was 39.10%, increasing to 58.33% after the implementation of cycle 1 and increasing to 79.41% after the implementation of learning cycle 2.

Abstract

Social Studies (IPS) learning at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) and Elementary School (SD) levels continues to face challenges, including teacher-centered instruction, memorization-oriented learning, limited contextual experiences, and the underutilization of educational technology to foster Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). These conditions highlight the need for a learning transformation that integrates innovative pedagogy with digital technology. This study aims to analyze the transformation of Social Studies learning through the integration of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) and Augmented Reality (AR) as a conceptual approach to strengthening students’ HOTS. The study employed a library research design using a systematic literature search conducted between January and April 2026 across Google Scholar, Scopus, ERIC, ScienceDirect, and SpringerLink. Following predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria, 38 relevant publications published between 2020 and 2026 were selected through identification, screening, eligibility assessment, and qualitative conceptual synthesis. Data were analyzed using content analysis to identify recurring themes and conceptual relationships among learning transformation, PBL, AR, and HOTS. The synthesized literature suggests that integrating PBL and AR provides complementary pedagogical and technological support for creating more contextual, interactive, collaborative, and student-centered Social Studies learning environments that encourage higher-order thinking. The reviewed evidence further indicates that the successful implementation of this approach depends not only on instructional innovation but also on teachers’ pedagogical competence, technological readiness, and institutional support. Overall, the literature synthesis provides a conceptual framework that may inform future instructional practices and empirical research on technology-enhanced Social Studies learning at the MI/SD level.

Abstract

The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah offers opportunities for innovation while presenting ethical, pedagogical, and epistemic challenges. This study aims to analyze AI integration strategies and their implications for teachers’ epistemic authority and the integrity of Islamic values. A Systematic Literature Review approach guided by the PRISMA 2020 framework and thematic analysis was employed to examine literature meeting the selection criteria. The findings identify four major themes: AI-supported instructional strategies, preservation of teachers’ epistemic authority as murabbi, AI ethics and algorithmic bias, and the development of a value-oriented AI integration framework. AI can support learning personalization, instructional material development, and pedagogical decision-making; however, its implementation requires teacher validation, meaningful human oversight, and ethical consideration. This study proposes a conceptual framework integrating technological innovation, the murabbi concept, AI ethics, and maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah to promote responsible, contextually appropriate AI implementation aligned with the objectives of Islamic education.

Abstract

Pharmaceutical services in Indonesia play a key role in supporting public health, especially at the primary care level, such as community health centres. Among Muslim communities, these services are not only focused on medical and technical aspects but also serve as a medium for da’wah by integrating Islamic educational values. This study aims to explore the role of Muslim pharmacists at the Bandar Khalipah Community Health Centre in Deli Serdang Regency in incorporating da’wah messages, such as patience, discipline, sincerity, and avoidance of wastefulness, into interactions with Muslim patients during pharmaceutical practice. The research used a qualitative case study approach, including observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, supported by thematic analysis to identify key patterns in service practices. The findings show that pharmacists and pharmacy assistants regularly incorporate Islamic prophetic values in patient interactions, both through direct communication and spiritual practices such as prayer and reciting basmallah during medication preparation. Muslim patients reported receiving more holistic care that addresses both medical and spiritual needs, which helped improve adherence to treatment and psychological comfort. This study contributes by reinforcing the integration of Islamic educational values into the pharmacy profession and by expanding the literature on Islamic pharmacy and Sharia-based biomedical ethics. The implications highlight the need for developing pharmaceutical service policies that are sensitive to religious and cultural values, as well as fostering further research on how integrating Islamic values impacts healthcare quality in various settings.
