Abstract

This research aims to understand how parents can design and implement risk mitigation strategies in early childhood education by utilizing local wisdom. This research will examine the role of local wisdom in reducing the negative impact of social media and strengthening the formation of children's character and social skills. The qualitative research approach uses interviews and observations of parents actively integrating local cultural values into their children's education. The research results show that parents who understand and master local wisdom in children and integrate it into their parenting can create an effective local wisdom-based learning environment. Additionally, collaboration with the community to expand learning has also proven beneficial. This research provides important implications regarding the need to integrate local wisdom in early childhood education as an effective effort to reduce harmful risks. Therefore, this research contributes to developing local culture-based education policies that can improve children's quality of education and social development.

Abstract

Game and play has its own meaning and meaning for the child. Abstract

This study aims to assist teachers in developing instructional media particularlyinstructional media in shaping the character of young children in early childhoodBakti Baitus salam Bantul. This study uses research and development (R&D).The media that has been resulted is the big book media. Data obtainedthrough interview techniques, expert assessment sheet soft media and materials.This research subject is child play group stotaling 28 children. Based on theresults of the data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that learningmedia can be assist teachers in developing instructional media particularlyinstructional media in shaping the character of young children.The resultsshow that use big book positively effect on the child character building, theexperimental class is to gain a higher score is 43 and the control class to obtaina score of 39,14.

Abstract

Communication in human life is very important. For young children how to communicate is a challenge to live their lives, so early childhood must learn how to communicate, especially effective communication both in the family and social environment, because there are already many children who are still at an early age the way of communication is less effective because it is influenced by several factors which exists. This research aims to increase knowledge for adults or parents how to communicate with early childhood effectively. The subjects of this study are adults who will implement effective communication for early childhood. In our research using library research (Library Research). Library research is the activity of collecting materials related to research from scientific journals, literature and authors. The results of the study show that in the family environment the way to communicate with early childhood is by respecting each other, understanding each other, adjusting communication styles and guiding children in terms of good communication. Whereas in early childhood education the teacher must be a good communicator, understand the characteristics of students, provide a comfortable and safe atmosphere and the teacher must be able to form close relationships with students in order to make it easier for students to communicate with teachers so as to build effective communication. By implementing effective communication from an early age, children will be able to interact with their social environment, be able to express their feelings and children will be able to develop their language when communicating.

Abstract

Recent years have seen an increase in incidents of sexual violence related to early childhood in Indonesia. Based on the latest data from the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection for 2022 starting from January 2022 to September 2022, there were cases of violence against a total of 15,759 female victims followed by 2,729 male victims. Sex education is still something that is considered taboo by the majority of Indonesian people, they view educating children about sexuality as a bad thing because they believe that sex education only consists of training children in negative things without any educational component. Of the many cases of sexual abuse in early childhood that are increasingly sticking out to the public and this phenomenon the researcher is interested in carrying out a deepening of the importance of sex education for early childhood through the design of a qualitative narrative method by carrying out a literature review, where the author examines various data sources along with information from various sources related to the issues set. The first and foremost line of defense against the sexual abuse of children is their parents. Parenting is an attempt by parents to behave towards their children as parents should. By implementing Good Parenting Communication Skills, this parenting movement is needed because parents must understand the risks and know how to prevent sexual violence in children responsively and effectively. Sex education for children with a daily activity approach, while learning about sexuality with daily activities. Such as potty training/toilet training, not showing private body parts, naming private body parts with the correct biological names.

Abstract Storytelling is an activity that is carried out by one person orally to another with tools or without tools about what must be conveyed in the form of messages, information or just a fairy tale to be heard with a sense of fun because the person who presents the story conveys it interestingly. Storytelling is a universal communication method that greatly affects the human psyche. Even the biblical texts also contain many stories. In addition, folk stories given to children are able to increase their knowledge about the culture, values, and traditions of various different community groups in various regions of the world, the storytelling method is also one of the methods that educators or parents can use in instilling values. character values ​​in children. character is a reflection of the attitude of each individual that can be observed directly. If the child shows a good attitude towards himself and others, it will be said to have a good character. However, if the child behaves otherwise, the surrounding environment will judge it with a negative character. Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan suatu hal penting bagi setiap individu terutama anak usia dini, dalam hal ini anak membutuhkan stimulasi yang baik salah satunya pada aspek kognitif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan anak dalam mengenal warna melalui penggunaan media balok kelompok di TK PGRI Al Hidayah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif-kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian adalah seluruh murid TK PGRI AL hidayah. Media balok kelompok digunakan sebagai sarana pembelajaran yang interaktif dan menyenangkan untuk memperkenalkan warna kepada anak-anak. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan pada kemampuan anak dalam mengenal warna setelah menerapkan media balok kelompok. Anak-anak menunjukkan minat yang tinggi dan partisipasi aktif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Penerapan media balok kelompok memberikan dampak positif terhadap perkembangan kognitif anak, meningkatkan keterampilan motorik, dan memperkuat kemampuan sosial mereka. Sedangkan, keefektifan media balok dapat diketahui melalui daya ingat dalam menyelesaikan masalah saat proses pembelajaran konsep bilangan, bentuk, ukuran dan warna. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam konteks pendidikan anak usia dini dengan menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media balok kelompok efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman warna anak-anak. Implikasi penelitian ini dapat dijadikan acuan bagi pendidik dan lembaga pendidikan untuk memperkaya metode pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan potensi anak dalam mengenal warna secara menyenangkan dan interaktif.
