Abstract

Pendidikan memiliki peran penting dalam pembangunan sumber daya manusia, dan mutu pendidikan menjadi indikator keberhasilan suatu bangsa. Peningkatan mutu pendidikan di Indonesia, khususnya di tingkat dasar dan menengah, didukung oleh Program Bantuan Operasional Sekolah (BOS). Penelitian ini mengkaji pengelolaan dana BOS dan dampaknya terhadap mutu sarana dan prasarana pendidikan. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kepustakaan dan analisis isi, dengan fokus pada transparansi, akuntabilitas, dan partisipasi dalam pengelolaan dana. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan dana BOS yang efektif dapat meningkatkan kualitas sarana dan prasarana, namun masih terdapat kendala seperti keterlambatan pencairan dana dan rendahnya literasi keuangan. Rekomendasi untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pengelolaan mencakup pelatihan manajemen keuangan dan digitalisasi sistem pelaporan. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan dan solusi strategi untuk memaksimalkan penggunaan dana BOS demi mutu pendidikan yang lebih baik.

Abstract

Academic stress is a common experience among university students and significantly affects their emotional and psychological well-being. Emotion regulation, the ability to manage and respond to emotional experiences, is critical in coping with academic-related stressors. This study examines the correlation between academic stress and emotion regulation strategies among undergraduate students. Using a quantitative correlational design, data were collected from 350 students at Universitas Terbuka through standardized instruments: the Academic Stress Scale (ASS) and the Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ), which measures cognitive reappraisal and expressive suppression. The results revealed a significant negative correlation between academic stress and cognitive reappraisal, and a significant positive correlation between academic stress and expressive suppression. These findings suggest that students who experience higher levels of academic stress are more likely to engage in maladaptive emotion regulation strategies. The study emphasizes the value of promoting adaptive emotional coping mechanisms to reduce stress and improve students’ academic and mental health outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media interaktif berbasis Wordwall terhadap hasil belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) di kelas IV SDN 132406 Tanjungbalai. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain quasi-eksperimen. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas IVa sebagai kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan media Wordwall dan kelas IVb sebagai kelas kontrol yang menggunakan metode konvensional. Uji t menunjukkan nilai signifikan < 0,05 yang berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan media Wordwall dengan yang menggunakan metode konvensional. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media interaktif berbasis Wordwall berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran IPAS. Media ini tidak hanya meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa tetapi juga mendorong keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam proses belajar mengajar. Oleh karena itu, media Wordwall disarankan untuk diterapkan sebagai alternatif media pembelajaran dalam rangka meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran IPAS khususnya di jenjang sekolah dasar.

Abstract

The development of educational technology requires innovation in learning systems that can accommodate the diversity of student characteristics. This study aims to develop and analyze a personalization system in Learning Management Systems (LMS) to support Multiple Intelligences theory for elementary school children through digital integration of Teele Inventory for Multiple Intelligences (TIMI). The research method uses a Design and Development Research (DDR) approach with stages of needs analysis, system design using digital TIMI adaptation, prototype development, internal functionality testing, and expert validation. Research subjects involved 2 validators: experts in educational technology and software engineering. The development results showed that the "MeLearn" LMS prototype successfully integrated personalization systems with digital TIMI instruments, obtaining an average expert validation score of 4.1 (appropriate category with minor revisions). Internal functionality testing showed a 96.7% success rate with main features including digital TIMI assessment, personalized dashboards, and adaptive content recommendation systems. The prototype is capable of automatically mapping students' Multiple Intelligence profiles and providing learning material recommendations that match dominant intelligence tendencies. This research contributes to the development of adaptive learning technology that is responsive to the diversity of multiple intelligences of elementary school children, although it still requires empirical validation with end users ABSTRAKPerkembangan teknologi pendidikan menuntut inovasi dalam sistem pembelajaran yang dapat mengakomodasi keberagaman karakteristik peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan dan menganalisis sistem personalisasi dalam Learning Management System (LMS) untuk mendukung teori Multiple Intelligences pada anak sekolah dasar melalui integrasi digital Teele Inventory for Multiple Intelligences (TIMI). Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Design and Development Research (DDR) dengan tahapan analisis kebutuhan, desain sistem menggunakan adaptasi TIMI digital, pengembangan prototipe, uji fungsionalitas internal, dan validasi ahli. Subjek penelitian melibatkan 2 validator ahli teknologi pendidikan dan rekayasa perangkat lunak. Hasil pengembangan menunjukkan bahwa prototipe sistem LMS "MeLearn" berhasil mengintegrasikan sistem personalisasi dengan instrumen TIMI digital, memperoleh skor validasi ahli rata-rata 4,1 (kategori layak dengan revisi minor). Uji fungsionalitas internal menunjukkan tingkat keberhasilan 96,7% dengan fitur utama meliputi penilaian TIMI digital, dashboard personalisasi, dan sistem rekomendasi konten adaptif. Prototipe mampu melakukan pemetaan profil Multiple Intelligences siswa secara otomatis dan memberikan rekomendasi materi pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kecenderungan kecerdasan dominan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan teknologi pembelajaran adaptif yang responsif terhadap keragaman kecerdasan majemuk anak sekolah dasar, meskipun masih memerlukan validasi empiris dengan pengguna akhir.

Abstract

Remedial and enrichment activities in elementary schools are an important step to ensure that every student has the opportunity to learn according to their abilities and needs. Through a literature study, this study summarizes various findings from journals, books, and research reports to capture how the concepts, implementation processes, challenges, and effective strategies of remedial and enrichment are applied at the basic level. The results of the study show that the most decisive initial step is to recognize students' learning difficulties through initial assessments, classroom observations, and portfolio analysis. In remedial activities, teachers need to develop a targeted improvement plan, utilize concrete media, provide guidance in small groups or through peer tutors, and conduct reassessments to see student progress. Meanwhile, enrichment can be provided by identifying students who demonstrate higher abilities, then engaging them in creative projects, mini-research, or interest-based activities that challenge higher-level thinking skills. Teachers play a very strategic role as planners, facilitators, as well as providers of emotional support. In the field, the implementation of these two programs is still constrained by limited time, large number of students, and lack of supporting resources. Therefore, strategies such as differentiated learning, the use of simple technology, and the implementation of project-based learning are recommended to increase effectiveness. This study is expected to be a practical reference for elementary school teachers in developing remedial and enrichment programs that are more adaptive, inclusive, and sustainable.

Abstract

This study aims to comprehensively analyze the nature of learning and instruction in elementary schools through a literature study approach. The review was conducted by examining various classical and modern learning theories, concepts of 21st-century learning, and the practical implications that emerge within the context of basic education. The data were obtained from academic books, national and international scientific journals, research reports, and various digital publications relevant to the topic. Based on the literature review, learning is understood as a complex process that results in changes in behavior, knowledge, skills, values, and attitudes through direct experience or social interaction. Effective instruction requires a paradigm shift from teacher-centered learning to student-centered learning, where teachers are no longer merely transmitters of information but act as facilitators, motivators, and guides in the learning process. The study also shows that the implementation of 21st-century learning in elementary schools demands the application of instructional strategies that stimulate critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and digital literacy. Learning must be designed to accommodate the developmental needs of children, particularly because elementary students are at the concrete operational stage, requiring real and contextual learning experiences. This study emphasizes that instructional quality will improve when planning, implementation, and evaluation are developed based on a deep understanding of children’s learning characteristics.
