Abstract

Mushroomdiversity in the Wangkung forest area, Ndoso district, West Manggarai Regency. This research is a survey research that aims to observe and find out the diversity of mushroom species in the Wangkung Forest Area, Ndoso discrict, West Manggarai Regency. The method used in this research is the quandrant transect method. The area or research location used is 500 meters long and 50 meters wide which is divided into 5 stations. The size of the transect is 2x2 meters, totaling 5 transect and will be randomly distributed at each stations. The results of this study showed that there were five types of fungi, namely: Auricularia polytricha as many as 104 species, Lentinus strigosus as many as 74 species, Trametes versicolor as many as 70 species, Pycnoporus sanguineus as many as 70 species and Lentinus sp as many as 37 species. Based on the results of the calculations of the diversity index of 1,533 which indicates the category of the diversity index is moderate . While the evenness index value is 0,952 which indicates the distributions category of the typeof community structure is stable or good. The average value of the wealth index is 3.869 which indicates the medium type of wealth. While at station 1 is dominate d by Auricularia polytricha and Pycnoporus sanguineus with a dominance index value of 0.070. At station 2 the dominance index value is 0.111 which is dominated by Auricularia polytricha which shows the most dominant fungus at stations 2. Meanwhile at station 3 is dominated by Auricularia polytricha with a dominance index value of 0.099. While at stations 4 is dominated by Auricularia polytricha with a dominance index value of 0.114 . Meanwhile, at station 5, Lentinus strigosus is dominated by a dominance index value of 0.081.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop a Vertebrate Zoology practicum guide based on the Jigsaw learning model,Apart from that, to analyze the feasibility and characteristics of the practicum guide being developed. In the process of developing products, researchers adopt the development and research model of Borg and Gall. The research procedure starts from the preliminary study stage to the field trial stage. Based on the results of 2 validators who assessed the practicum guides that the researchers developed, they produced an average score of 4.82 and 4.59 which were in the very good category. Researchers implemented limited trials on 10 students who had different criteria (high, medium and low ability). Based on limited trials, it was found that the average percentage of results sequentially included 83% (high ability) and 80% (medium and low ability). The application of field trials using the one group pre-test post-test design was used for 1 class. By using SPSS 23 for Windows, the researcher analyzed the data using the one-sample T-Paired test formula. A significance value of 0.000 was obtained through the results of field trial analysis, which means it is lower than 0.05. Based on these results, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between students' pre-test and post-test scores. So the research results show that the practicum guide that the researchers developed is suitable for application in learning.

Abstract

This research aimed to evaluate the validity and feasibility of the Jigsaw-based field practicum guidebook as a learning resource for vertebrate identification. The development of the guidebook followed the Borg and Gall model for research-based product development. The research stages included a preliminary study and a field trial process. Based on assessments from two validators, the guidebook received an average score of 4.68, which falls within the "very good" category. The researcher conducted a limited trial with 10 students who varied in ability. The results of the limited trials showed average percentage scores of 84% (high ability), 79% (medium ability), and 77% (low ability). For the field trial, a one-group pre-test and post-test design was applied. Data analysis was performed using SPSS 23 for Windows, employing the paired t-test formula. A significance value of 0.000 was obtained from the field trial analysis, indicating a value lower than 0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between students' pre-test and post-test scores. The results showed that the field practicum guidebook developed by the researcher is suitable for learning.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Eutrofikasi merupakan pengayaan unsur hara perairan yang berdampak buruk terhadap kualitas air. Keberadaan unsur nutrisi dan beberapa senyawa di badan perairan disebabkan oleh keberagaman aktivitas manusia yang disebut sebagai aktivitas antropogenik yang mengancam eksistensi ekosistem perairan. Literatur review ini mengkaji tentang resiko eutrofikasi dalam kesuburan perairan, penyebab terjadinya eutrofikasi, dampak, serta solusi penanganannya.Metode: Studi literatur ini merupakan hasil review dari 25 artikel ilmiah dan selebihnya berasal dari buku, monograf dan Research report. Penelusuran database artikel melalui Science Direct, Geogle Scholar, dan Mendeley. Beberapa artikel ilmiah yang relevan dari hasil  penelusuran dipilih berdasarkan tema yang berkorelasi dengan eutrofikasi ataupun berhubungan dengan kata kunci pada literatur review. Beberapa kata kuncinya yaitu Eutrofikasi, Status tropik, Unsur hara organik, Limbah, Kualitas perairan, Parameter Fisika-Kimia lingkungan, Kajian ekologis, Fosfor dan Nitrat, dan Blooming alga. Literasi artikel ilmiah merupakan hasil pencarian dari jurnal internasional, jurnal internasional bereputasi, dan jurnal nasional bereputasi. Pada umumnya artikel tersebut diperoleh dari berbagai penerbit, seperti Springer, Elsevier, MDPI, Taylor and Francis, serta ATMOS.Hasil: Pencetus utama eutrofikasi adalah keberagaman aktivitas manusia yang menghasilkan limbah antrophogenik, seperti pemakaian pupuk dan pestisida, kotoran ternak, budidaya ikan, dan limbah domestik. Dampak utama eutrofikasi adalah penurunan tingkat biodiversitas atau kepunahan biota perairan akibat perubahan lingkungan, penurunan kualitas perairan dan keterpurukan estetika lingkungan, penurunan kandungan DO perairan dan kondisi anoxia. Hasil metabolisme bakteri anaerob juga menghasilkan bau yang tidak menyenangkan. Penggunaan teknologi yang ramah lingkungan adalah langkah efektif pencegahan eutrofikasi.Simpulan: Limbah antropogenik merupakan penyebab utama terjadinya eutrofikasi yang membawa dampak buruk bagi perairan. Upaya efektif dalam penanggulangan etrofikasi adalah penggunaan teknologi pengolahan limbah yang efisien dan ramah lingkungan (artificial wetland), mengontrol dan mereduksi kandungan senyawa limbah organik dari sumbernya secara ekonomis dan berkelanjutan. Langkah strategis lainnya adalah pengurangan konsentrasi bahan pencemar limbah cair berdasarkan peraturan pemerintah dan pendekatan sosio-ekologis melalui partisipasi masyarakat.  ABSTRACTTitle: Review of Eutrophication: Risks in Aquatic Environmental Fertility and Mitigation EffortsBackground: Eutrophication is enrichment of aquatic nutrients adversely affects water quality. The presence of nutrients and compounds in water bodies is caused by variety of human activities referred to as anthropogenic activities threaten the existence of aquatic ecosystems. This literature review examines the risks of eutrophication in aquatic fertility, eutrophication causes, impacts, and solutions.Methods: This literature study is a review of 25 scientific articles and rest come from books, monographs and research reports. The article database was searched through Science Direct, Google Scholar, and Mendeley. Several relevant scientific articles from search results were selected based on themes correlated with eutrophication or related keywords in review. Some of keywords are Eutrophication, Tropic status, Organic nutrients, Waste, Water quality, physico-chemical parameters, Ecological studies, Phosphorus and Nitrate, and Algal blooms. Scientific articles is Searches from international journals, reputable international journals, and reputable national journals. In general, the articles were obtained from various publishers, such as Springer, Elsevier, MDPI, Taylor and Francis, and ATMOS.Results: Eutrophication main driver is diversity of human activities generate anthrophogenic waste, such as fertilisers and pesticides use, livestock manure, fish farming, and domestic waste. Eutrophication main impacts are decreased biodiversity levels or extinction of aquatic biota due to environmental changes, decreased water quality and environmental aesthetics deterioration, decreased DO of waters and anoxia conditions. Metabolic products of anaerobic bacteria produce unpleasant odours. Environmentally friendly technology use an effective measure to prevent eutrophication.Conclusion: Anthropogenic effluents are main cause of eutrophication which has adverse effects on water bodies. Effective efforts in eutrophication prevention are the use of efficient and environmentally friendly sewage treatment technology (artificial wetland), controlling and reducing organic waste compounds content from source in an economical and sustainable manner. Another strategic is reduce concentration of effluent pollutants based on government regulations and socio-ecological approach through community participation.

Abstract

Learning models are activities carried out by teachers and students to achieve learning objectives effectively and efficiently. The study aims to examine the implementation of using the Each One Teach One and Student Debate learning models to achieve complete biology learning and critical thinking among senior high school students in Gowa Regency. The research is quantitative with a quasi-experimental research design; the 1st Experimental class was treated with the Each One Teach One model, and the second experimental class was treated through the Student Debate model. The research consists of the preparation stage, implementation of experiments, conclusions, and reporting results. At the end of each biology learning experiment, a post-test was conducted to determine the student's final ability. Each One Teach One and Student Debate learning model has a real effect on the learning outcomes of students in Science Class XI so that they reach the value of learning completeness. The results of hypothesis testing with a probability of 0.018 (<0.05) show that both learning models have a significant effect on learning completeness. The advantages of using this learning model are encouraging students to cooperate with their colleagues so as to create active learning, increasing analytical power, arousing learning motivation, establishing good communication, stimulating students to do their best individually and collectively, and arousing student creativity, and students' critical thinking skills achievement.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini dilakukan untuk memberikan sosialisasi kepada siswa SMA Negeri 10 Gowa tentang pentingnya memahami dan membangun personal branding. Permasalahan mitra yang disampaikan oleh pihak sekolah bahwa siswa yang ada di SMA Negeri 10 Gowa memiliki potensi/kompetensi untuk membangun usaha namun, mereka tidak mampu mengekspresikan potensi/kompetensi tersebut. Mitra kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini adalah Siswa SMA Negeri 10 Gowa yang berada di Kabupaten Gowa Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan tepatnya di jalan dekat komplek BTN. Saumata Indah, Jalan Mustafa Dg. Bunga, Kelurahan Romangpolong Kecamatan Somba Opu Kabupaten Gowa. Adapun metode pelaksanaan kegiatan yang digunakan yaitu terdiri dari tiga tahapan: tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan, dan tahap Monitoring dan Evaluasi. Hasil dari pelatihan ini mendapat respon yang sangat baik dari seluruh peserta. Strategi untuk membangun personal branding bagi siswa dapat dilakukan dengan mengarahkan mereka untuk memahami minat dan bakat mereka sesuai dengan kemampuan yang dimiliki dan diminati. Dalam kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat berikutnya, dapat diadakan pendampingan atau pembentukan kelompok belajar yang bertujuan merancang personal branding siswa, dimulai dari hobi hingga keterampilan yang telah dikuasai dengan memanfaatkan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler di sekolah. Setiap kelompok akan berdiskusi mengenai keterampilan tertentu (hard skill) yang sesuai dengan minat mereka, serta keterampilan komunikasi, kepemimpinan, dan berpikir kritis (soft skill) yang dibutuhkan. Dari diskusi tersebut, setiap siswa akan menyusun target yang harus dicapai untuk mengoptimalkan pengembangan soft skill dan hard skill yang berguna di masa depan.

Abstract

In this quantitative study, students in class XI IPA 1, who were taught with the STAD cooperative learning model, achieved an average performance classified as “very good.” In contrast, the control group, class XI IPA 2, recorded a slightly lower average. The normality test confirmed that the data distribution satisfied the normality assumption because its significance level surpassed the standard threshold. The homogeneity test likewise demonstrated uniform variances between the two groups, making them homogeneous. During hypothesis testing, the significance level remained above the rejection boundary, and the calculated t‑value fell below the critical value, leading to the acceptance of the null hypothesis. Consequently, the use of the STAD model, even when supported by interactive multimedia, did not significantly influence student engagement at SMAN 14 Gowa.

Abstract

Pada Bulan Ramadan, orang tua seringkali mencarikan kegiatan untuk anak-anak mereka dalam mengisi waktu luang agar anak tidak bosan. Salah satu bentuk kegiatan yang tepat adalah perlombaan dengan tema ramadan. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode partisipasi aktif dari anak sebagai peserta dan orang tua dalam mendampingi anak. Tahapan kegiatan meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Kegiatan ini memiliki tema "Semarak Ramadan Bersama Kami (Serambi)" dengan melibatkan santri dari Masjid Al-Ikhlas Citra Bontomarannu Kabupaten Gowa. Adapun jenis lomba yang dilaksanakan yaitu lomba mewarnai, lomba menggambar, dan lomba fashion show. Lomba mewarnai diikuti oleh 34 peserta dengan rentang umur 5 sampai 8 tahun, lomba menggambar diikuti oleh 6 peserta dengan rentang umur 8 sampai 12 tahun, dan fashion show diikuti oleh 25 peserta, dengan peserta rentang umur 4 sampai 12 tahun. Setiap lomba dipilih 3 peserta terbaik berdasarkan kriteria penilaiaan yang telah ditetapkan oleh panitia dan juri. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan anak dalam mendengarkan instruksi, membangun sportivitas, dan mengelola emosi dalam menerima kemenangan atau kekalahan.
