Abstract

Kemampuan numerasi adalah kemampuan berpikir menggunakan konsep, prosedur, fakta dan alat matematika untuk menyelesaikan masalah sehari-hari pada berbagai jenis konteks yang relevan. Konteks lingkungan lahan basah dihadirkan sebagai dunia nyata untuk mengukur kemampuan numerasi mahasiswa calon guru matematika. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan proses perngembangan instrumen tes kemampuan numerasi mahasiswa calon guru matematika dengan konteks lingkungan lahan basah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah Dick & Carey. Model ini terdiri atas enam tahapan yang dimulai dengan analisis tujuan, analisis subjek, pengembangan produk, validasi, ujicoba, serta revisi untuk menghasilkan produk yang valid. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur validitas produk adalah lembar validasi ahli. Hasil validasi kemudian dianalisis secara kuantiataif beradasarkan skor dari setiap aspek validasi dan secara kualitatif dengan memperhatikan saran perbaikan yang diberikan. Hasil pengembangan berupa instrumen tes numerasi yang terdiri atas 12 soal dengan sebaran proses kognitif, konten, serta konteks beragam. Instrumen tersebut dikembangkan sesuai dengan tahapan pengembangan produk dan termasuk dalam kategori cukup valid dengan skor validitas rata-rata yakni 74%. Kata kunci: numerasi, instrumen tes, lingkungan lahan basah, mahasiswa calon guru, valid Abstract: Numerical ability is the ability to think using concepts, procedures, facts and mathematical tools to solve everyday problems in various types of relevant contexts. The context of the wetland environment is presented as a real world to measure the numeracy skills of prospective mathematics teacher students. The purpose of this study was to describe the process of developing a numeracy ability test instrument for prospective mathematics teacher students in the context of a wetland environment. This research is development research with the development model used is Dick & Carey. This model consists of six stages starting with objective analysis, subject analysis, development process, validation, testing, and revision to produce a valid product. The instrument used to measure product validity is an expert validation sheet. The results of the validation were then analyzed quantitatively based on the scores from each aspect of the validation and qualitatively by considering the suggestions for improvement. The results of the development are in the form of a numeration test instrument consisting of 12 questions with a variety of cognitive processes, content, and contexts. Abstract

The lack of understanding of mathematical concepts among junior high school students regarding spatial geometry is often due to difficulties in visualizing these objects. Augmented Reality (AR) technology can be utilized as a learning tool to facilitate the learning process, particularly for abstract mathematical concepts like spatial geometry. This research aimed to determine the effectiveness and student response towards the implementation of AR-based learning media in understanding the concepts of spatial geometry among eighth-grade students in junior high school level. The study employs a Quasi-experimental method with a Nonequivalent control group design. The population of this research is the eighth-grade students at SMPN 24 Banjarmasin. Purposive sampling technique is used for sample selection. Research instruments include pre-tests, post-tests, and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques for the tests involve using t-tests and N-Gain tests, while non-test data analysis is conducted using quantitative descriptive data analysis. The research results are as follows: (1) Based on the t-test, there is a significant difference in learning outcomes between students using AR-based learning media compared to those who did not receive such treatment. Furthermore, based on the N-Gain test, the average score for the experimental group is 0.58, categorized as effective, whereas the control group scored 0.15, categorized as less effective. 2) The percentage of questionnaire responses from students regarding the implementation of AR-based learning media for spatial geometry is categorized as good, at 79%. In conclusion, the utilization of AR-based learning media proves to be effective in enhancing students' understanding of spatial geometry concepts in mathematics lessons for eighth-grade students.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengevaluasi dampak yang signifikan dari penerapan model PBL terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa, khususnya siswa yang ada di jenjang SMP. Metode yang dipakai ialah systematic review dengan teknik meta analisis. Artikel didapat melalui penelusuran menggunakan Google Scholar dengan rentang tahun antara 2019 dan 2023. Didapat sebanyak 16 artikel yang memenuhi syarat untuk dianalisis. Software Comprehensive Meta-Analysis (CMA) V3.0. dipakai sebagai alat bantu dalam melakukan analisis penelitian ini. Ukuran efek dihitung menggunakan persamaan Hedges dan ditentukan berdasarkan pada model estimasi efek-acak. Temuan dari penelitian ini memberikan gambaran bahwa ukuran efek secara keseluruhan dari penerapan model PBL terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa SMP ialah sebesar 1,260, menempatkannya dalam kategori efek besar. Analisis variasi dalam studi dilakukan dengan mempertimbangkan dua variabel moderator, yaitu tingkatan kelas dan materi yang diajarkan. Temuan dari analisis ini menegaskan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran PBL memiliki dampak signifikan terhadap kemampuan siswa SMP dalam memecahkan masalah matematika. Berdasarkan tingkatan kelas model pembelajaran PBL paling efektif diterapkan di kelas IX dan berdasarkan materi yang diajarkan model pembelajaran PBL paling efektif diterapkan pada materi Teorema Pythagoras. Kata kunci: Meta-analisis, Problem Based Learning, Effect Size, kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis Abstract: This research aims to analyze the significant impact of the problem-based learning (PBL) model on the mathematical problem-solving abilities of junior high school students. The method used is a systematic review with meta-analysis techniques. Articles were obtained through searches using Google Scholar with a range of years between 2019 and 2023, resulting in 16 scientific articles that met the eligibility criteria for analysis. The tool used to analyze this research is the Comprehensive Meta-Analysis (CMA) V3.0 software, and the effect size index from the Hedges-g equation obtained is determined based on the estimation of the random-effects model. The research findings revealed an overall effect size of 1.260 for the implementation of the PBL learning model on the mathematical problem-solving abilities of junior high school students, indicating a large effect category. Analysis of the study's variation levels was conducted by considering two moderator variables in terms of class levels and the taught material. The analysis findings indicate that the implementation of the PBL learning model has a significant impact on the mathematical problem-solving abilities of junior high school students. Based on class levels, the PBL learning model is most effective when applied in Grade IX, and based on the taught material, the PBL learning model is most effective when applied to the material of the Pythagorean Theorem. Keywords: Meta-analysis, Problem-Based Learning, Effect Size, Mathematical Problem Solving Abilities.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang pesat memberikan dampak terhadap pendidikan yaitu digunakannya berbagai media pembelajaran yang inovatif berbasis teknologi. Selain itu, pengintegrasian konteks lingkungan lahan basah pada pembelajaran dapat menambah wawasan kearifan lokal terhadap lingkungan. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengembangkan media pembelajaran memanfaatkan smart apps creator untuk materi Menggunakan Data dengan konteks lingkungan lahan basah. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode RnD dengan model ADDIE. Tahap yang dilakukan yaitu analisis, perancangan desain, pengembangan, implementasi, serta evaluasi. Siswa kelas VIIG SMPN 9 Banjarmasin merupakan subjek uji coba. Lembar validasi, angket respons, serta tes merupakan instrumen yang digunakan. Berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli materi dan ahli media didapatkan nilai berturut-turut 4,26 yang termasuk valid dan 3,9 yang termasuk cukup valid. Nilai berdasarkan respons peserta didik dan respons guru berturut-turut sebesar 82,18% dan 82,3% dengan kriteria sangat praktis. Berdasarkan tes hasil belajar, terlihat bahwa 80% peserta didik tuntas sehingga memenuhi kriteria efektif. Dengan demikian, media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dapat digunakan pada pembelajaran materi Menggunakan Data kelas VII. Kata kunci: Smart Apps Creator, media pembelajaran, menggunakan data, lingkungan lahan basah Abstract: The rapid development in technology has impacted education, specifically through the use of various innovative technology-based learning media. Additionally, integrating the context of wetland area into learning can provide insight into local wisdom towards the environment. This research aimed to develop the learning media by utilizing smart apps creators on Using Data topic with wetland area context. The used method is RnD with ADDIE model. The stages conducted Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Students in class VIIG at SMPN 9 Banjarmasin are as the subjects. Validation sheets, response questionnaires, and tests are the used instruments. Based on the validation of material experts and media experts, the scores are4.26 with valid criteria and 3.9 with quite valid criteria. The scores based on student responses and teacher responses are 82.18% and 82.3% with very practical criteria. Based on the learning test, it can be concluded that 80% of students are completed so it is effective. Therefore, this learning media can be applied in Using Data topic for Grade VII. Keywords: Smart Apps Creator, learning media, using data, wetland area
