Abstract

In the middle of a patriarchal culture, several females pushed the competition map for the 2024 presidential candidate which was dominated by males. However, the votes were insignificant and only a few names appeared in the survey results. Apart from the 30% affirmative action, the role of the media in promoting gender mainstreaming in politics is needed because news about female presidential candidates is still relatively rare. Therefore, this research aims to reveal the news of the 2024 female presidential candidate survey results presented by tirto. id, tempo.co, and kompas.com. This was conducted using the framing analysis method of the Robert Matthew Entman model consisting of two dimensions, namely issue selection, and aspect highlight, as well as four framing elements, including problem definition, sources, moral decisions, and problem-solving. The result showed several interesting points. First, all the media analyzed presented news about females’ inability and resources based on the results of various surveys. Second, all news presented an interpretive journalism model that reads and interprets survey data by experts. Third, although they try to deny the patriarchal ideology, the majority present male commentators who review female political communication. This means that ideology still surrounds the three online media studied.Keywords: Female presidential candidates, news, online media, framing analysis ABSTRAKDi tengah kultur patriarkhi, beberapa perempuan menyeruak peta persaingan capres 2004 yang didominasi capres laki-laki. Meski begitu suaranya tidak signifikan, hanya beberapa nama saja yang muncul dihasil survei. Selain affirmative action 30 persen, peran media mendorong pengarusutamaan gender di bidang politik sangat dibutuhkan. Saat ini pemberitaan tentang capres perempuan relatif jarang. Padahal melalui pemberitaan yang masif dan kontinyu, capres perempuan akan diperhitungkan. Di tengah capres perempuan yang jarang diberitakan, penelitian ini menemukan signifikansinya. Bahwa capres perempuan jarang diberitakan dibandingkan capres laki-laki. Penelitianbertujuan menguak berita hasil survei capres perempuan 2024 yang disajikan tirto.id, tempo.co, dan kompas.com. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis framing model Robert Matthew Entman yang memiliki dua dimensi (seleksi isu dan penonjolan aspek) serta empat elemen framing (Pendefinisain masalah, sumber masalah, keputusan moral, dan penyelesaian masalah). Sebagai kesimpulan, penelitian ini menemukan beberapa poin menarik. Pertama, semua media yang diteliti menyajikan berita tentang kekurangmampuan dan sumber daya perempuan yang minim berbasis hasil berbagai survei. Kedua, semua berita menyajikan model jurnalisme interpretatif yang membaca dan menafsirkan data hasil survei oleh para ahlinya. Ketiga, meski mencoba menyangkal ideologi patriarkhi, tetapi mayoritas berita menyajikan komentator laki-laki yang mengulas komunikasi politik perempuan. Artinya, ideologi patriarkhi masih menyelimuti ketiga media online yang diteliti.Kata Kunci: Capres perempuan, berita, media online, analisis framing

Abstract

Kemiskinan merupakan masalah yang tidak pernah ada habisnya, sehingga isu ini selalu mendapatkan perhatian dari berbagai pihak, baik pemerintah maupun pihak-pihak yang berasal dari luar pemerintah, salah satu bentuk kepedulian pemerintah dalam mengatasi kemiskinan adalah dengan meluncurkan Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH). Program ini diharapkan mampu memutus kemiskinan antargenerasi dan juga meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia khususnya bidang pendidikan dan kesehatan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini menelaah bagaimana efektifitas Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) di Kelurahan Pabuaran Kecamatan Cibinong Kabupaten Bogor. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif  kualitatif.  Analisis data menggunakan metode . (Huberman, Matthew B. Miles, 2014) yang terdiri dari reduksi data, Penyajian data, dan Penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa efektivitas program PKH adalah dengan melakukan penentuan langsung bagi penerima manfaat dan verifikasi data yang dilakukan oleh RT setempat dan informasi tentang penyaluran dana bantuan.

Abstract

Penelitian dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk menganalisis dan menguraikan mengenai kecantikan perempuan Korea sebagai sebuah standar yang menggeser konsep kecantikan ideal di Indonesia. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Analisis Wacana Kritis Sara Mills dimana berusaha untuk melihat teks dari sisi subjek-objek dan penulis-pembaca. Hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media massa selama ini secara simultan mengkonstruksi konsep mengenai standar kecantikan ideal kepada masyarakat yang mana perempuan cantik adalah perempuan yang memiliki kondisi fisik layaknya perempuan Korea. Hal ini menggeser standar kecantikan ideal perempuan-perempuan di dunia (khususnya Indonesia) dimana hal tersebut menjadi sebuah tuntutan sosial yang harus dipenuhi oleh kaum perempuan. Hal ini memiliki keterkaitan dengan adanya “beauty industrial complex” yang mana negara-negara dibombardir dengan industri kecantikan Korea seperti produk-produk kosmetika beserta ekses-ekses yang mengikuti di belakangnya, diantara adanya konsep kecantikan ideal yang berubah dan meningkatkan industri serta aktifitas plastic surgery. Konsep dasar mengenai kata “cantik” itu sendiri seperti terlupakan bahwa menjadi cantik tidaklah selamanya harus dipenuhi hanya dari aspek-aspek fisik semata seperti struktur wajah V-Line, bentuk tubuh yang langsing, kulit yang putih, dan kelopak mata yang dalam. Ekses negatif yang ditimbulkan dari konsep baru ini juga bermunculan seperti isu-isu psikologis yang dialami oleh kaum perempuan yang mengalami krisis kepercayaan diri, tidak dapat menerima kelebihan dan kekurangan dirinya, memiliki konsep diri yang salah, dan masalah-masalah psikis lainnya. Kanal YouTube Priscilla Lee berusaha mengajak kaum perempuan agar dapat memiliki konsep diri yang lebih positif dalam memandang kondisi tubuhnya karena pada kenyataannya kecantikan tersebut memiliki ukuran yang berbeda-beda satu dengan yang lainnya.

Abstract

Pabeanudik Village is located in the Indramayu sub-district, a coastal area where most of the people are fishermen and to fulfil their household needs depend on fishing activities. With the potential of marine resources that are adequately owned, the welfare of the household and the economy of the people who live on the coast can be fulfilled. However, this only applies to a few people living in coastal areas who are still below the poverty line. This is because fishermen depend on the sea where weather conditions are uncertain and marine catches are not optimal or even non-existent, hindering the development of family economic welfare. In an uncertain economic situation, fishing families are required to be able to adapt to be able to build a family economy so that daily survival can be fulfilled. This study aims to describe the empowerment of women in their role in building the economy of fishermen's families through fish management businesses in Pabeanudik Village, Indramayu District. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method through an instrumental case study approach. This study concludes that the empowerment of coastal women in Pabeanudik village is reflected in their productive role in the fish management business, which is carried out to obtain additional economic income to meet the needs of family life.

Abstract

This study discusses leadership communication strategies in the era of disruption to build adaptive and innovative organizational performance. Organizations are affected by the era of disruption which requires adaptive and innovative leaders. Therefore, effective leadership communication is very important to create a work environment that is responsive to situations that are Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, Ambiguity (VUCA). This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach and interviews to collect data from several organizations operating in the era of disruption. The results of the study show that effective leadership communication strategies in the era of disruption consist of three dimensions, namely leadership development strategies, organizational culture development strategies, and organizational relationship strengthening strategies. In addition, leaders must also pay attention to important factors such as trust, loyalty, and transparency in their communications. The implication of this research is that organizational leaders need to understand the importance of an effective leadership communication strategy to build adaptive and innovative organizational performance in an era of disruption.

Abstract

Utilization of Information Communication Technology encourages the formation of communities that are interconnected by using the internet network to communicate and carry out various activities. One aspect of change due to the increasing use of the internet is communication media. The need for ICT-based communication media is also felt by the Ciledug Nahdlatul Ulama Student Association (IPNU). IPNU is an autonomous body of Nahdlatul Ulama based on students, students, and santri, as a forum for fostering the next generation of scholars and successors of the nation's struggle. Because IPNU is an organization whose members are generations of Y and Z, and the problems faced by IPNU Ciledug, relating to communication media are to disseminate content related to their organization, a communication media that is appropriate to that generation is needed. The solution offered to solve these problems is through this community service activity, namely providing training on making Podcasts as an ICT-based communication medium to IPNU Ciledug members. The implementation of this community service activity consists of 3 stages, namely; The preparation stage, to identify problems, apply for permits to the IPNU Ciledug management, and make preparations for the implementation of training on making podcasts; The implementation stage of the Podcast making training; and the activity evaluation stage, by giving a questionnaire to the training participants to find out how they responded to this community service activity.
