Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara maritim yang memiliki kekayaan sumber daya alam laut. Potensi tersebut tidak membuat nelayan tradisional kaya, namun kemiskinan nelayan tradisional masih menjadi masalah utama, mereka tetap tidak bisa sejahtera. Pemerintah telah memikirkan berbagai program agar dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan nelayan, terutama untuk keluarga  nelayan miskin. Berbagai program telah di rancang dan dilaksanakan sejak masa Presiden Soeharto sampai Presiden Jokowi, namun didapati tidak dapat meningkatkan taraf sosial ekonomi kehidupan mereka. Keluarga nelayan tradisional masih miskin di Desa Nelayan Kecamatan Medang Deras Kabupaten Batu Bara. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk membantu Pemerintah dalam penyediaan data profil sosial ekonomi keluarga nelayan tradisional. Selama ini banyak bantuan program telah diberikan, namun tidak tepat sasaran. Permasalahan tersebut disebabkan karena belum tersedianya data yang akurat di setiap Kelurahan atau desa, tempat nelayan berada. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi kinerja program yang dilakukan sebelumnya, maka diperlukan perbaikan data agar dapat menentukan pilihan peserta program dengan tepat. Responden di ambil dengan random sebanyak 129    orang diwawancarai dengan menggunakan kuesioner,  di desa Pakam, Pematang Eru, Benteng, dan Kuala Perai di Kecamatan Medang Deras Kabupaten Batubara. Kajian deskriptif dengan metode survei, dilakukan di sekitar pantai desa nelayan Kecamatan Medang Deras. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan ”Statistical Packages for the Social Science” (SPSS) versi 18.00. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk membantu  Pemerintah dalam menyediakan data profil sosial ekonomi keluarga nelayan miskin. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat membantu pihak Desa dalam memberikan data akurat dalam penentuan peserta program bantuan pemerintah, sehingga kinerja program pemerintah dapat tercapai.  Indonesia is a maritime country that has a wealth of marine natural resources. This potential does not make traditional fishermen rich, but the poverty of traditional fishermen is still the main problem, they still cannot prosper. The government has thought of various programs in order to improve the welfare of fishermen, especially for poor fishing families. Various programs have been designed and implemented from the time of President Soeharto to President Jokowi, but they are not found to be able to improve their socio-economic standard of life. Traditional fishing families are still poor in the Fisherman Village, Medang Deras District, Batu Bara Regency. This study aims to assist the Government in providing socio-economic profile data for traditional fishing families. So far, a lot of program assistance has been given, but it is not right on target. This problem is caused by the unavailability of accurate data in every Kelurahan or village, where the fishermen are located. Based on the results of the program performance evaluation conducted previously, it is necessary to improve the data in order to determine the choice of program participants correctly. Respondents were taken randomly as many as 129 people were interviewed using a questionnaire, in the villages of Pakam, Pematang Eru, Benteng, and Kuala Perai in the District of Medang Deras, Batubara Regency. Descriptive study using survey method, conducted around the coast of the fishing village of Medang Deras sub-district. Data were analyzed using "Statistical Packages for the Social Science" (SPSS) version 18.00. This study aims to assist the Government in providing data on the socioeconomic profile of poor fishing families. The results of the study are expected to assist the village in providing accurate data in determining the participants of the government assistance program, so that the performance of government programs can be achieved.

Abstract

The problem in this research is the low student learning outcomes. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of the Generative Learning Model on the Economics Learning Outcomes of Class This research was conducted in class X of Medan Budisatrya Private High School FY 2014/2015. The population in this study was all class X of Medan Budisatrya Private High School which consisted of 4 classes. This research sample consisted of X-3 as the experimental class and X-4 as the control class. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling. The instrument or data collection technique in this research is a test of student communication learning outcomes in the form of multiple choices of 20 items. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used is the normality test, homogeneity test and to test the hypothesis the t test is used. The results of data analysis show that the average value of the experimental class is 64.75 with a standard deviation of 13.96, while the average value of the control class is 60.75 with a standard deviation of 13.99. Hypothesis testing is carried out using the t test statistical. From the results of the hypothesis calculation, the t_count is 5,750 and the t_table is 1,994. In other words, the hypothesis is accepted. From these results it can be concluded that there is an influence of the use of the Generative Learning Model on the Economic Learning Outcomes of Class

Abstract

The problem that occurs in this study is that children often spell when reading a word or text. This of course will take a long time to read and become a habit when they enter further education. The purpose of this study was to determine the use of learning to read without spelling in early childhood. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research that is describing something that happens through the observations that have been made. The subjects in this study were early childhood, parents and tutors at Rumah Pintar Alamanda. The data collection technique used was observation of children and interviews with parents and tutors as well as documentation. Based on the results of the research and analysis that has been carried out, it appears that children are better at recognizing letters, vocabulary and connecting words at the beginning of reading by using the learning method to read without spelling. This is proven when the child is able to name the letters intended by the teacher. So that the use of the method of learning to read without spelling can help children in beginning reading in early childhood. Several things were done in this study, namely: (1) Introducing letters in a different way; (2) Introducing syllables; (3) Reading various syllables; (4) Read together. All of these activities are carried out under the direction and guidance of the tutor so that children can be even better at beginning

Abstract

This research aims to improve the ability to write news texts using the Jigsaw type cooperative method in class VIII students at SMP Methodist 9 Medan. The research method used is classroom action research with stages of planning, action implementation, observation, evaluation and reflection. The research results showed that there was an increase in students' ability to write news texts after implementing the Jigsaw cooperative method. This research was carried out from 14 May to 22 May 2024 at SMP Methodist 9 Medan.

Abstract

Kemampuan berbahasa merupakan salah satu bentuk kecerdasan majemuk yang memiliki peran krusial dalam persaingan global. Balai Bahasa Provinsi Sumatera Utara (BBPSU) bertanggung jawab untuk menyediakan layanan kebahasaan yang setara bagi semua kelompok masyarakat, termasuk difabel. Data dari Dinas Pemberdayaan Masyarakat dan Desa menunjukkan bahwa sekitar 24.492 atau sekitar 0,16% difabel di Sumatera Utara belum mendapat akses layanan sertifikasi berbahasa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor pendukung dan penghambat terwujudnya layanan sertifikasi berbahasa difabel dengan melakukan diagnosis model Burke-Litwin transformational factors. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, penyebaran kuesioner, dan telaah dokumen. Data dianalisis secara kualitatif dengan teori New Public Service yang menekankan pentingnya pelayanan publik yang berorientasi pada kebutuhan masyarakat. Hasil diagnosis identifikasi permasalahan mengindikasi bahwa akuntabilitas di BBPSU menunjukkan sejumlah permasalahan yang mencerminkan tantangan dalam pelaksanaan tanggung jawab organisasi terhadap publik khususnya dalam layanan sertifikasi berbahasa difabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keempat faktor yang meliputi visi, misi, dan strategi organisasi, lingkungan eksternal, kepemipinan, dan budaya organisasi saling memengaruhi kinerja. Perlu adanya intervensi perbaikan kinerja melalui reformulasi misi dan strategi, penataan struktur organisasi, dan perbaikan sistem manajemen sumber daya manusia melalui pemberdayaan struktur organisasi dengan membentuk unit kerja khusus difabel di BBPSU.

Abstract

Early childhood education presents the concept of playing while learning, therefore play activities are part of the learning process. However, in reality teachers do not use a variety of learning resources, so children quickly become bored in the learning process. One learning resource that is appropriate for teachers to use and is in accordance with the concept of playing while learning for early childhood is educational games. The aim of this community service activity is to provide training to teachers in making educational game tools so that these teachers become more creative. The method used in this community service is in the form of training in making educational game tools. After carrying out community service activities by conducting training in making educational game tools for teachers, the results of the evaluation of these activities were that teachers became more creative in designing devices or media used for learning in early childhood.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the importance of inclusive education for early childhood education teachers. The teacher US the play working partners in the process of providing stimulation for child development, in prepare a good and appropriate curriculum in inclusive education is to eliminate differences, discrimination and bullying against children with special needs with this inclusive education will provide good for children, family background also affect towards giving attention and support for children with special needs. Children with unique development are different from one another need inclusive education for early childhood development, inclusive education that is education that carries out learning for all children both normal children and also children with special needs. The aim is for children with special needs to get the same rights in education, in the implementation of inclusive education there are many obstacles including lack of teaching staff, lack of therapist staff, and infrastructure. The development of teacher creativity in educational children is very necessary.
