Abstract

Domperidone base as anti-nausea or vomiting drug mostly available in conventional tablets forms has weakness in swallowing tablets and requires drinking water. Oral fast dissolving tablets are a solution to this problem. Oral fast dissolving tablets with variations in the concentration of PVP K-30 to determine effect of the tablet physical quality test and good physical quality results. The wet granulation method was used to improve the flow properties by mixing the binder mucilago with the inner phase. Test of physical quality of tablets, weight uniformity, size uniformity, hardness, friability, disintegration time, and unifomity of content. The results showed a significant difference in friability and disitegration time. The conclusion based on the results of the study showed that the variation in the concentration of PVP K-30 on the difference in the physical quality test of tablets and the 2% concentration of PVP K-30 gave good results

Abstract

Kunyit Putih (Curcuma mangga val.) merupakan salah satu tanaman yang termasuk keluarga zingiberaceaeyang mengandung senyawa utama yaitu kurkuminoid termasuk dalam golongan senyawa polifenol, minyakatsiri, serta polisakarida. Minyak atsiri merupakan antioksidan alami dalam mengatasi permasalahan padakulit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui stabilitas mutu fisik minyak atsiri kunyit putih yang diformulasikan dalam bentuk losion. Metode Penelitian ini menggunakan eksperimen. Penelitian ini terdiri daripenyiapan kunyit putih, pembuatan minyak atsiri kunyit putih dengan metode destilasi uap menggunakanpelarut aquades, skrining fitokimia, pengujian Kromatografi Lapis Tipis (KLT) dengan fase gerak Toluen :etil asetat (93:7) dan fase diam silika gel F254. Formulasi sediaan losion dengan variasi konsentrasi 0,1%(F1), 1% (F2), 1,5% (F3) dan kontrol basis. Formulasi losion di amati stabilitas mutu fisik kunyit putih. Datadianalisis menggunakan deskriptif dan dibandingkan dengan SNI. Hasil penelitiaan ini menunjukkan bahwabasis dan ketiga formulasi mengahasilkan lotion yang homogeny, tekstur lembut, warna putih, tidak berbau(F0), bau khas kunyit putih (F1), Warna putih tulang (F2 dan F3). Nilai PH pada F0, F1, F2, F3 yaitu 7,4; 7,1; 7; 6,8 dan nilai daya sebar pada F0, F1, F2, F3 yaitu 5; 5,3; 5,5; 5,8. Penyimpanan sediaan selama 4 minggu pada uji Organoleptis, Uji Homogenitas dan Uji PH tidak mengalami perubahan. Pada uji nilai daya sebar F0,F1, F2, F3 mengalami perubahan nilai. Semakin tinggi konsentrasi maka semakin besar nilai daya sebarnya. Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini yaitu stabilitas mutu fisik sediaan losion minyak atsiri kunyit putih sesuai dengan SNI.Kata Kunci : Kunyit Putih, Minyak Atsiri, Losion, Stabilitas mutu fisi

Abstract

Antioxidants is an important role in the body's defense against disease, because antioxidant compounds are able to prevent the bad influence caused by free radicals. Sintrong leaves (Crassocephalum crepidioides (Benth) S. Moore) has a compound of saponins, tannins, alkaloids and flavonoids known to be used as antioxidants. The purpose of the study to determine the activity of antioxidant and IC50 values as well as compounds contained there in and compared with Vitamin C as a positive control of antioxidant activity of sintrong leaves (Crassocephalum crepidioides (Benth) S. Moore). The research method uses DPPH attenuation method and then calculated by spectrophotometry to determine the antioxidant content. The results showed that ethanol extract of sintrong leaves has antioxidant activity that can ward off free radicals with IC50 value of 52.49 mg / ml. Conclusion there is antioxidant activity in sintrong leaf extract (Crassocephalum crepidioides (Benth) S. Moore) with IC50 value of 52.49 mg / ml (strong) but the antioxidant activity obtained greater positive control than the extract. This data is supported by the Independent T-Test the value of the thitung > ttabel, which means that there are differences in the antiokxidant activity of sintrong leaves and vitamin C. Abstract

Abstrack The fig plant is called fig in English. Most people often refer to it as a fig plant. This plant has the Latin name ficus carica L. The content of flavonoid compounds in the telang flower has the potential to be an alternative source of natural antioxidants. The purpose of this study was to determine the formulation and physical quality test of fig leaf extract lotion preparations. This research method is an experimental study of making fig leaf extract lotion by collecting the ingredients to be extracted using the maceration method with 70% ethanol solvent, formulating the extract concentration of 1%,3%,5% and evaluating the physical quality of the lotion preparation. The results obtained in the phytochemical screening are extracts containing flavonoid compounds, tannins and saponins. In the organoleptic test, homogeneity and pH have met the requirements and are safe to use for the skin.

Abstract

This scientific paper examines how mecobalamin injection preparations will be affected by the length of storage and can lead to a decrease in drug quality to drug damage. The material used for this research is mecobalamin pro-analysis from PT. Kalbe, chocolate ampoule injection mecobalamin, and aquadest. This research is an experimental study, which aims to determine the effect of storage time on the physical quality of mecobalamin injection preparations in brown ampoules using UV-Vis spectrophotometry method. The purpose of this study was to determine the levels of mecobalamin injection preparations that were affected by light for 24 hours with storage durations of 5 days, 10 days, 15 days, and 0 days as a control for comparison. A series of tests from this study concluded that temperature, humidity, light, the effect of storage time, and sample preparation affected the levels of mecobalamin injection preparations. Based on the determination of the concentration of mecobalamin injection in the test solution with different storage times, the results were not constant due to a decrease in levels, when compared to the control.
