Abstract

Children's golden age is from 0 to 6 years old. Children of this age are very sensitive to the stimuli of their environment, especially the knowledge and skills they acquire from their parents. The purpose of this study was to describe early childhood growth and development during the Covid-19 pandemic. In a study design used descriptively in 54 children aged 2 to 3 years, using a sample of 10 respondents identified by targeted sampling techniques, the study instrument consisted of the following items: used early detection screening for developmental abnormalities in children, including: Weight and height, developmental pre-screening questionnaire for children aged 24-36 months, hearing test, vision test. Ratings are based on percentage formulas and are interpreted quantitatively. Results showed that almost all respondents (90%) had normal nutrition and all (100%) had normal head circumference when it came to growth. From a development perspective, almost all respondents (80%) have corresponding standards. All respondents (100%) had a normal baseline hearing test. All respondents (100%) had a normal baseline for their vision of the test item. Several factors explain the emergence and development of early childhood during the Covid-19 pandemic, including gender, parental age, child age, parenting style, parental education level, number of siblings, and sources of information on child development. was affected by Parents are encouraged to provide insight into their child's nutritional needs and development so that their nutritional needs are met and age-appropriate development is possible. It not only increases motivation to be more active in stimulating, training and developing a child's psychomotor skills

Abstract

The Covid-19 vaccination program among the public raises various perceptions, both negative perceptions and positive perceptions, this affects community participation in participating in the Covid-19 vaccination which is supported by several factors such as gender, education, age, occupation, knowledge about the Covid-19 vaccine, cultural beliefs and vaccine history. This research aim to analyzed the correlation between public perception and participation for Covid-19 vaccination in Tanggulkundung Village, Besuki Sub-District, Tulungagung District. The design of this research used the correlation method with a cross-sectional approach. The population in this resrarch were 800 respondents with a sample of 89 community respondents in Tanggulkundung Village, Besuki, Tulungagung. The sampling technique used Purposive Random Sampling. Collecting data on the independent variable of public perception and the dependent variable on Covid-19 vaccination participation used a questionnaire. The results showed that most respondents (69.7%) had a positive perception and almost all respondents (94.4%) had a positive Covid-19 vaccination participation rate. The results of the statistical test of rho Spearman rank obtained p-value 0.002 (α<0.05), then H1 accepted with r = 0.324. The strength of this correlation is due to the intercorrelation between variables which are influenced by several factors, one of which is knowledge, so that additional information is needed from the Covid-19 vaccine to increase public knowledge so that it creates a positive perception. It is also recommended that the public can wisely digest the contents of any information circulating about the Covid-19 vaccine, it is hoped that the entire community can have the same perception and can increase participation in the Covid-19 vaccination.

Abstract

Usaha Kesehatan Sekolah (UKS) merupakan salah satu usaha kesehatan  yang dilaksanakan oleh puskesmas dan usaha kesehatan masyarakat dengan anak didik serta lingkungan sekolah sebagai sasaran utama. Program UKS dilaksanakan pada semua jenis dan jenjang pendidikan, termasuk sekolah menengah kejuruan. Siswa yang mengalami cedera/sakit biasanya akan di bawa ke UKS untuk diberikan penanganan pertama atas sakit yang dideritanya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengetahuan siswa-siswi kelas XI tentang Usaha Kesehatan Sekolah (UKS). Desain penelitian menggunakan teknik deskriptif, dengan populasi sebanyak 40 responden dan sampel 40 responden serta pemilihan sampel menggunakan teknik “total sampling”. Variabel penelitian dalam penelitian ini menggunakan variabel tunggal yaitu pengetahuan siswa-siswi kelas XI tentang Usaha Kesehatan Sekolah (UKS) dengan instrument berupa kuesioner kemudian data dianalisa dengan rumus persentase dan diinterpretasikan secara kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh hasil bahwa hampir seluruh responden yaitu 32 responden (80%) memiliki pengetahuan baik dan sebagian kecil responden yaitu 8 responden (20%) memiliki pengetahuan cukup. Hal ini dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor yaitu jenis kelamin, sumber informasi dan pengalaman. Diharapkan lebih meningkatkan pelaksanaan UKS dengan terus melaksanakan program UKS misalnya dengan rutin penyuluhan kesehatan maupun cek kesehatan pada siswa-siswi.

Abstract

The use of gadgets in technological development is widely used, especially by children because they have interesting features. Excessive use of gadgets can have a negative impact on children's development and thinking patterns. Efforts can be made to increase parents' knowledge and participation in controlling children's gadget use. The research aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and the role of the family in using gadgets in children aged 6-8 years. Correlation research design with a cross-sectional approach. The population is 120 respondents, the sample is 26 parents who have children aged 6-8 years. The instrument used was a questionnaire. Data analysis with Spearman Rank. The results of research on family knowledge about gadgets showed that almost all respondents (88.5%), namely 23 respondents had a good level of knowledge, while the majority of respondents (61.5%) namely 16 people had a good role with a p-value of 0.019 at the level of error < 0.05 means there is a relationship between knowledge and the role of the family in using gadgets in children aged 6-8 years. The direction of the strength of the relationship is positive in the sufficient category (r = 0.457) meaning that the better the parents' knowledge regarding gadgets, the better the role of the family. in using gadgets to be good. Increasing knowledge is accompanied by the role of parents through educating health workers regarding monitoring the use of gadgets so that it can influence children's development for the better. It is recommended for parents to control and manage the maximum time their children use gadget
