Abstract

The article aims at discovering the form of ethno-mathematics activity that exist in Tolaki society at Southeast Sulawesi. This study is a qualitative descriptive research that describe 6 basic activities of Tolaki’s society (1) counting, (2) measuring, (3) deciding location, (4) designing, (5) playing, (6) explaining. The data collection was conducted through observation, interview, and docu-mentation. The data were then analyzed based on logical analysis. The results of the research shows that Tolaki society still maintain the traditional of kalo sara which is part of the six basic activities of Tolaki society well known as ethnomathematics. The writer expected that the Tolaki culture should be maintained as local culture heritage that enrich the national culture.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan konsep dasar belajar dan mengu­ra­i­kan berbagai perspektif belajar sebagai landasan psikologis dalam pengem­ba­ngan media dan teknologi pembelajaran. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa be­la­jar merupakan perubahan kemampuan manusia yang relatif permanen sebagai aki­bat dari pengalaman dan interaksi dengan lingkungan. Terdapat tiga pers­pek­tif belajar sebagai landasan dalam pengembangan media dan teknologi pem­be­la­ja­ran. Perspektif behavioris menekankan pada pengembangan media dan tek­no­lo­gi untuk pengelolaan dan penyajian sumber belajar, serta penyelesaian tugas man­diri melalui CAL. Perspektif kognitif fokus pada pemanfaatan piranti lunak un­­tuk pengaktifan proses memori dalam belajar. Perspektif konstruktivis per­pi­jak pada integrasi social media untuk memfasilitasi interaksi sosial secara ko­la­bo­ra­tif dan membangun makna melalui aktivitas sesuai dunia nyata.Abstract:This study aims at describing the basic concepts of learning and elaborating va­rious learning perspectives as a psychological foundation in the development of instructional media and technology. The results show that learning is a relative per­manent change in human capabilities as a result of experience and interaction with the environment. There are three learning perspectives as the basis for ins­truc­tional media and technologydevelopment. Behavioral perspectives emphasize media and technology development for managing and presentinginstructional re­sources, as well as the completion of independent tasks through CAL. The cog­nitive perspectivesfocus on the utilization of software for the activation of me­mo­ry processes in learning. Constructivist perspectivescentralize on social media integration to facilitate collaborative social interaction and construct meaning through real world activity.

Abstract

Abstract: This paper aims to: (1) assess the multicultural education and ethno-mathematics, (2) initiating the integration of ethno-mathematics in learning, and (3) revealing a model of curriculum that integrates the ethno-mathematics in mathematic learning. The essence of multi-cultural education is to have the same opportunities in a diverse life. Ethno-mathematics as a mathematical science practiced by groups of different cultures that are identified as indigenous communities, groups of workers, the professional classes, and groups of children of a certain age group. Ethno-mathematics ideas in mathematics and curriculum gives new nuances in the study of mathematics by the consideration that Indonesia consists of various races and cultures, and each tribe has its own way in solving the problems faced. Ethno-mathematic curriculum model is designed in an appropriate context and meaningful, in the form of specific cultural content oriented in the development of mathematical thinking, and it was an integration of mathematical concepts and practices into the culture of students. Abstrak: Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengkaji pendidikan multikultur dan ethno-matematika, (2) menggagas integrasi etnomatematika dalam pembelaja-ran, dan (3) mengungkap model kurikulum yang mengintegrasikan etno-matematika dalam pembelajaran matematika. Hakikat pendidikan multi-kultural adalah memiliki kesempatan yang sama dalam kehidupan yang beragam. Etnomatematika sebagai ilmu matematika yang dipraktikkan oleh kelompok-kelompok budaya yang berbeda yang diidentifikasi sebagai masyarakat pribumi, kelompok pekerja, kelas-kelas profesional, dan kelompok anak-anak dari kelompok usia tertentu. Gagasan etnomatema-tika dalam pembelajaran matematika dan kurikulum memberi nuansa baru dalam pembelajaran matematika dengan pertimbangan bahwa bangsa Indonesia terdiri atas berbagai suku dan budaya, dan setiap suku memiliki cara tersendiri dalam menyelesaikan masalah yang dihadapi. Model kurikulum etnomatematika dirancang dalam konteks yang sesuai dan berarti, dalam bentuk conten budaya khusus, berorientasi pengembangan pemikiran matematika, dan merupakan integrasi konsep dan praktik matematika ke dalam budaya siswa.

Abstract

Gagasan integrasi nilai-nilai karakter dan budaya bangsa dalam pembelajaran pada madrasah ibtidaiyah telah lama dicanangkan. Namun, strategi integrasi nilai-nilai karakter ke dalam pembelajaran belum menunjukkan pola yang baku. Untuk mengintegrasi bahan ajar berbasis karakter pada madrasah ibtidaiyah perlu menelaah konsep pendidikan karakter dan  pendidikan berbasis karakter termasuk nilai-nilai karakter yang mencakup religius, jujur, toleransi, disiplin, kerja keras, kreatif, mandiri, demokratis, rasa ingin tahu, semangat kebangsaan, cinta tanah air, menghargai prestasi, bersahabat/ komunikatif, cinta damai, gemar membaca, peduli lingkungan, peduli sosial, tanggung jawab. Arah integrasi nilai-nilai karakter dan budaya bangsa pada madrasah ibtidaiyah merujuk pada pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis karakter yang  mencakup integrasi konten, integrasi nilai-nilai karakter dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran, dan pemberdayaan budaya madrasah.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in students' mathematical creativity through the auditory, intellectual, repetition (AIR) learning model in class XI students of SMK Techno Terapan Makassar. Creativity referred to in this study pays attention to 3 aspects of indicators, namely fluency, flexibility, and novelty. This research is research class action (PTK). The subjects of this study were students of class XI at SMK Techno Terapan Makassar. The results showed that there was an increase in creativity in learning mathematics through the auditory, intellectual, repetition (AIR) learning model. Student test results seen based on the percentage per indicator increased from cycle I to cycle II seen in the aspect of fluency 66.66% increasing to 81.48%, the aspect of flexibility 62.96% increasing to 77.78%, and the novelty aspect increasing 33.33% to 48.14%. the learning completeness criteria in cycle I was 55.55% and classically complete in cycle II was 77.77% or as many as 22 people who scored . Data from the analysis of teacher activity in cycle 1 increased by 60.42% to 72.90% while the results of student activity analysis in cycle 1 amounted to 56.26% increased to 70.92%. From the research results obtained, it can be concluded that the Auditory, Intellectual, Repetition (AIR) learning model can increase the mathematical creativity of class XI students of SMK Techno Terapan Makassar.

Abstract

Setiap orang dilahirkan dengan keunikan yang luar biasa. Keunikan ini membawa dampak pada keragaman kemampuan, karakteristik, dan kehebatan luar biasa sesuai dengan bakat dan talenta. Pendeteksian bakat dan talenta anak sejak dini memiliki urgensi tersendiri untuk mengungkap kehebatan yang tersembunyi dalam diri setiap anak. Keunikan itu terlihat dari kecerdasan yang dimiliki yang mencakup verbal-linguistik, logis-matematis, visual-spasial, kinestetik-jasmani, musik-berirama, interpersonal, intrapersonal, naturalistik, dan eksistensial. Setiap kecerdasan dapat dikenali dengan melihat kecenderungan untuk mengungkap karakteristiknya. Setelah teridentifikasi, maka perlu dikembangkan dengan memerhatikan strategi pengembangan yang sesuai agar terarah bakat, talenta, dan kehebatan tersembunyi

Abstract

This study aims at developing a literacy-based instructional module on social arithmetic that can help the learning activities of grade VII students of Junior high school 1 of Gantarangkeke Bantaeng regency in order that they are more independent in reviewing, interpreting, interpreting, reasoning and communicating effectively and solving math problems in various contexts in everyday life. The type of this research is Research Development (Research and Development) by using modification of 4-D model combined with Romiszowski model. The model 4-D is taken only at the design level, especially on the aspect of choosing the teaching material development format, while the Romiszowski model includes three stages: (1) analysis, (2) synthesis and (3) evaluation, and all three stages are at the structural level of the second part of the Romiszowski model schema which emphasizes the development of printed materials in this case the product in the form of a learning module that meets the valid, practical and effective criteria. The results showed that the literacy-based math learning module meets the valid and practical criteria with a score of 3.73 including the highly valid category, and the 3.37 score belongs to the category of good in terms of practicality. This learning module also meets the effective criteria with the percentage completeness 79,19% which is in good category. Thus, the developed literacy-based math learning module has fulfilled the valid, practical and effective criteria.  Keywords: model devepoment, media and technology, instruction

Abstract

Teaching materials and learning media play an active role and are needed in the world of education. Moreover, the world has just been attacked with news of the covid-19 virus, which has resulted in teaching and learning to be carried out online. Many mediations are used by educators in enlightening the nation's children. Including learning strategies and the emergence of online learning media called LMS such as Moodle, Goggle classroom, Edmodo, Schoolagy, SevimaEdlink and there are also online applications such as Youtube and Whatsapps which can also be used in online learning. This activity was carried out in Kaba Village, Kec. District Commander. Pangkep and the participants were the surrounding community, totaling 17 people. The method of delivering material is in the form of lectures, discussions and simulations. The results of the activity show that socialization activities can increase public knowledge about teaching materials and learning media that can be used during the pandemic. Abstract

The presence of technology in the community, especially for farmers, can increase access to information, such as information about better and up-to-date agricultural techniques and market information will greatly help farmers in improving the quality and quantity of production that will encourage village economic growth and farmer welfare. The method used in the implementation of PKM activities uses an interactive discussion method with the local farming community accompanied by practice, a kind of tutorial in utilizing various mobile phone features owned by the community. The result of this study is that people know about how to upload images of agricultural production and market them through their social media, including accessing several marketplace links that allow people to market their agricultural products.

Abstract

Kabupaten Maros yang terletak sekitar 30 km sebelah utara Kota Makassar memiliki luas wilayah 1.619,12 km² dengan 14 kecamatan dan 103 desa/kelurahan. Wilayah ini meliputi daratan dan pegunungan dengan komoditas pertanian unggulan seperti padi, jagung, kedelai, kacang tanah, singkong dan ubi jalar. Maros juga dikenal dengan sektor pertambangan dan pariwisatanya, termasuk Taman Nasional Bantimurung-Bulusaraung dan Rammang-Rammang, objek wisata karst terbesar kedua di dunia. Sebagai pintu gerbang ke wilayah Mamminasata bagian utara, Maros memiliki peran penting dalam pembangunan Makassar. Pemerintah Kabupaten Maros fokus pemberdayaan masyarakat desa melalui literasi digital, berkolaborasi dengan ADPERTISI dalam kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM). Pada tanggal 13 Juli 2024, dilakukan sosialisasi pemanfaatan teknologi dengan perkuliahan, tutorial dan diskusi. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh orang-orang yang antusias meskipun mengalami masalah jaringan internet.
