Abstract

The mendong plant is one of the plants that is widely cultivated by people in Blayu Village, Wajak District. However, the number of farmers cultivating mendong plants is decreasing, so the agricultural land for mendong plants is starting to decrease. This research aims to: 1) analyze changes in land use for mendong crop farming in Blayu Village; and 2) know the factors that cause changes in agricultural land use for mendong crops. This research uses a descriptive survey method by collecting several samples in the form of people through questions. Google Earth was used to analyze changes in the use of agricultural land for mendong crops in Blayu Village from 2010 to 2024. Based on the results of the analysis of changes in agricultural land use for mendong crops in Blayu Village in 2010-2024, an increase in changes in the area of ​​mendong crops was obtained by 26.45 ha or 91.4 %. Meanwhile, the factors causing changes in the use of agricultural land for mendong plants in Blayu Village are economic factors, labor, mendong craftsmen, and the availability of mendong plant drying equipment.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan Penelitian merumuskan model strategi penghidupan berkelanjutan petani dalam sistem pertanian agroforestri dalam melestarikan hutan di wilayah hutan Desa Oro-oro Ombo. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa konteks kerentanan petani di sekitar hutan berupa kerentanan kemiskinan menjadi ancaman terhadap sumberdaya alam. Krisis ekonomi dan Kemiskinan memaksa seseorang untuk bertindak merusak lingkungan. Modifikasi akses terhadap aset melalui pendekatan kelembagaan dan penguatan modal sosial. Modal sosial berisi land tenurial lahan hutan dengan hak dan kewajiban yang harus dipatuhi oleh kedua belah pihak. Modifikasi modal sosial masyarakat mendapat hak akses terhadap modal alam berupa lahan hutan, fisik dan finansial. Strategi yang ditemukan terbagi menjadi intensivikasi-ekstensifikasi dan diversifikasi. Strategi intensivikasi-ekstensivikasi menerapkan pola agroforestri jenis silvopastura rumput gajah, agrosilvikultur sayuran, dan agrosilvopastura kombinasi rumput gajah dan kopi. strategi diversifikasi memvariasi jenis penghidupan diluar pertanian. Strategi memberikan dampak terhadap keberlanjutan ekologi dan sosial ekonomi melalui rehabilitasi hutan, konservasi mencegah banjir dan longsor, menjaga keanekaragaman hayati, serta meningkatkan kesejahtraan masyarakat. Kata Kunci: strategi penghidupan; agroforestri; pelestarian; hutan ABSTRACT The aim of the research is to formulate a sustainable livelihood strategy model for farmers in an agroforestry farming system in conserving forests in the forest area of Oro-oro Ombo Village. The results show that the context of farmers' vulnerability around forests in the form of poverty vulnerability becomes a threat to natural resources. The economic crisis and poverty force people to act to damage the environment. Modifying access to assets through an institutional approach and strengthening social capital. Social capital contains land tenure of forest land with rights and obligations that must be obeyed by both parties. Modification of social capital gives the community the right to access natural capital in the form of forest land, physical and financial. The strategies found are divided into intensification-extensification and diversification. The intensification-extension strategy applies agroforestry patterns such as elephant grass silvopasture, vegetable agrosilviculture, and combined elephant grass and coffee agrosilvopasture. Diversification strategies vary the types of livelihoods outside of agriculture. The strategy has an impact on ecological and socio-economic sustainability through forest rehabilitation, conservation to prevent floods and landslides, maintaining biodiversity, and improving community welfare. Abstract

Tempe Bagong UMKM is a business engaged in processing soybeans into traditional tempeh. The problems that occur in Tempe Bagong UMKM Partners include not having other tempeh product variations, tempeh bagong product packaging is still absent, and the marketing process is still being sold in small stalls around the village. The community service approach method used to help partner problems is Participatory Learning and Action (PLA). The steps of the Participatory Learning and Action (PLA) approach are characterized by socialization, discussion, and direct training practices. The stages of this community service activity are pre-training, education stage, practice stage, mentoring stage, and evaluation stage. Through this community service, diversification is produced in the form of tempeh bungkil which is a mixture of soybeans, soybean skin, copra, and peanuts. This product is packaged more attractively to increase its selling value. In addition, digital marketing is also carried out through digital marketing

Abstract

Model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berkaitan erat dengan hasil belajar siswa. Model ini mendorong siswa untuk belajar secara aktif dan kolaborasi dalam menyelesaikan masalah kehidupan nyata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Problem-Based Learning (PBL) terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X dalam mata pelajaran Geografi. Model PBL merupakan model pembelajaran yang menekankan pada pemecahan masalah nyata untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir dan pemahaman konsep siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain pretest-posttest control group. Sampel penelitian yang digunakan terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dimana kelas eksperimen menerapkan model PBL dalam proses pembelajaran sedangkan kelas kontrol menerapkan metode pembelajaran konvensional. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes hasil belajar, kemudian teknik analisis data menggunakan uji statistik t-test untuk melihat perbedaan hasil belajar antara kedua kelompok. Berdasarkan hasil uji-t diperoleh nilai p-value (2-tailed) = 0,000 yaitu lebih kecil dari tingkat signifikan 0,05 (P < 0,05). Hal ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Dengan demikian dapat dinyatakan bahwa model PBL memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dalam peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran geografi. The Influence of the Problem-Based Learning Model on the Learning Outcomes of Grade X Students in the Subject of Geography AbstractThe Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model is closely related to student learning outcomes. This model encourages students to learn actively and collaborate in solving real-life problems. This study aims to determine the influence of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model on the learning outcomes of Grade X students in the subject of Geography. PBL is a learning model that emphasizes solving real-world problems to improve students’ thinking skills and conceptual understanding. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group design. The research sample consisted of two classes: an experimental class and a control class. The experimental class implemented the PBL model during the learning process, while the control class used conventional learning methods. Data collection techniques were carried out through learning outcome tests, and data analysis techniques employed a statistical t-test to determine differences in learning outcomes between the two groups. Based on the results of the t-test, the p-value (2-tailed) = 0.000, which is smaller than the significance level of 0.05 (P < 0.05). This indicates that there is a significant difference in student learning outcomes between the experimental class and the control class. Thus, it can be concluded that the PBL model has a significant influence on improving student learning outcomes in the subject of Geography.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kontekstual berbantuan Google Earth terhadap kemampuan berpikir spasial siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen (eksperimen semu atau quasi-Experiment) dengan menerapkan The Nonequivalent Control Group Design yaitu memberikan pre-test sebelum dilakukan perlakuan serta diberikan post-test setelah dilakukan perlakuan pada masing-masing kelompok. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, dokumentasi dan tes berbentuk pilihan ganda. Uji coba instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan uji validitas, reliabilitas yang melibatkan siswa kelas XII Ips. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji hipotesis dengan uji independent sample t-test. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran kontekstual berbantuan Google Earth berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir spasial siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Malang, terbukti dari nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 ≤ 0.05 yang diambil dari nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen lebih besar 67,95 dibanding kelas kontrol 50,20, artinya H₀ ditolak.   The Effect of Contextual Learning Models Assisted by Google Earth on Students' Spatial Thinking Skills This study aims to determine the influence of the contextual learning model assisted by Google Earth on the spatial thinking ability of grade XI students of SMA Negeri 2 Malang. This study uses a quantitative approach with the type of experimental research (pseudo-experiment or quasi-experiment) by applying The Nonequivalent Control Group Design, which is to provide a pre-test before treatment and post-test after treatment is carried out on each group. The data collection techniques used are observation, documentation and multiple-choice tests. The trial of this research instrument used a test of validity, reliability involving grade XII Social Sciences students. Data analysis techniques used normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis tests with independent sample T-tests. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the contextual learning model assisted by Google Earth has an effect on the spatial thinking ability of grade XI students of SMA Negeri 2 Malang, as evidenced by the significance value of 0.000 ≤ 0.05 which is taken from the average score of the experimental class is greater than 67.95 compared to the control class of 50.20, meaning that H₀ is rejected.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh hasil observasi di SMAN 2 Malang kelas XI bahwa proses pembelajaran yang diadakan di dalam kelas menggunakan buku paket yang disediakan oleh pihak sekolah sehingga, beberapa siswa tidak membawa buku tulis. Sekolah juga memfasilitasi  jaringan wifi disetiap kelas membuat siswa bebas mengakses internet pada saat jam pembelajaran berlangsung. Tidak adanya peraturan dari guru untuk mematikan handphone pada saat pembelajaran hal ini membuat siswa tidak konsentrasi dalam menerima materi pelajaran melainkan fokus pada handphone nya masing-masing. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan media audiovisual terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen (Eksperimen Semu atau Quasi Experimental Design). Jenis desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Data penelitian dianalisis memakai uji-t (independent simple t-test). Berdasarkan hasil uji independent sample test diperoleh sig (2-tailed) 0,000 < 0,05 sehingga Ha diterima Ho ditolak. Dengan demikian model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan media audiovisual berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

The Gondanglegi Subdistrict is one of the areas prone to flooding due to high-intensity rainfall and a predominantly low-lying topography. One effort in flood disaster mitigation is through the implementation of participatory mapping involving active participation from various stakeholders, including local communities, local governments, and non-governmental organizations. The objectives of this research are to conduct participatory mapping regarding the vulnerability level of flood disasters in the Gondanglegi Subdistrict of Malang Regency, to understand the role of participatory mapping in flood disaster mitigation planning in the Gondanglegi Subdistrict of Malang Regency, and to identify the factors causing floods in the Gondanglegi Subdistrict of Malang Regency. This research adopts the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) approach as the main method. The results of this research indicate four levels of flood disaster vulnerability in the Gondanglegi Subdistrict, namely not vulnerable, moderately vulnerable, vulnerable, and highly vulnerable. Participatory mapping provides significant benefits to the community in terms of understanding and mitigating floods. Floods are caused by natural factors such as rainfall and topography, as well as non-natural factors such as inadequate water channels and indiscriminate waste disposal by the community.
