Abstract

Infectious diseases remain one of the world's public health concerns, particularly in developing countries. Excessive and inappropriate antibiotics use can lead to the emergence of bacterial resistance and increase the economic burden of health care; additionally. According to a preliminary survey conducted on residents of 009 Community Unit, Duren Sawit Sub-district aged 17-65 in January 2022, it demonstrated that 60% residents believed that antibiotics could treat fever and could be purchased without a prescription 40%. This research aimed to describe the knowledge of antibiotic use in the residents of 009 Community Unit, Duren Sawit Village. The study employed a descriptive quantitative type, where data collection was performed using a questionnaire. This research comprised 237 respondents, who were selected employing the proportional random sampling technique and required the inclusion criteria. The study’s findings indicated that out of 237 respondents, 99 individuals (42%) had good comprehension, 88 individuals (37%) had sufficient comprehension, and 50 individuals (21%) had inadequate comprehension. In summary, suppose described in each indicator, the level of public knowledge for the three indicators was as follows: 118 respondents (50%) have a good understanding of the meaning of antibiotics,104 respondents (44%) have a good understanding of the use of antibiotics, and 140 respondents (59%) had a good understanding of the undesirable effects of the use of antibiotics. The 4 most consumed antibiotics were Amoxicillin (55.7%), Fg Troches (14.3%), Cefixime (8.4%) and Azithromycin (8.4%). While the dose of taking antibiotics ranges from 1x to 4x a day, depends on the type of antibiotics.

Abstract

Jerawat merupakan berupa peradangan kulit dengan gejala bintik merah menonjol dan sakit dapat berisi nanah atau bintik putih/hitam. Berdasarkan data Global Burden of Disease acne vulgaris terjadi pada 85% remaja berusia 12–25 tahun. Ada beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi terjadinya acne vulgaris salah satunya yaitu permasalahan jerawat akibat penggunaan masker dalam jangka panjang pada masa pandemi Covid-19. Menurut penelitian Changxu Han melaporkan dari tanggal 15 April hingga 4 Mei 2020 sebanyak 15 pasien mengalami tingkat keparahan jerawat dari ringan hingga sedang, dengan gambaran klinis mask acne yang paling sering tampak adalah adanya komedo dan papul di pipi dan hidung dibandingkan nodul dan kista pada dahi. Beberapa penelitian telah menunjukan bahwa kemunculan jerawat dapat mengurangi kepercayaan diri dan kualitas hidup pada seseorang terutama remaja. Penyakit ini juga tidak hanya memberikan efek secara fisik pada penderitanya, tetapi juga menimbulkan efek psikologis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh demografi remaja terhadap swamedikasi pada jerawat di SMK Nusantara 1 Ciputat Bulan Juni 2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif komparatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan stratified random sampling dan didapatkan responden sebanyak 124 orang. Pengambilan data dilakukan berdasarkan data primer berupa kuesioner. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa pengetahuan responden tentang swamedikasi jerawat secara keseluruhan, memiliki pengetahuan baik 101 responden (81%), diikuti oleh kategori pengetahuan cukup 23 responden (19%). Uji statistik menunjukkan tidak adanya hubungan antara faktor demografi usia dengan tingkat pengetahuan responden.

Abstract

Pharmacy service is inseparable from health service system of a hospital. The service of pharmacy unit shall be a priority because an effective and efficient service will affect in the fulfillment of prescriptions. Furthermore, the management on the pharmaceutical stock will influence the revenue of the hospital (part of revenue center). The purpose of this research is to find out the percentage of unfilled prescriptions of outpatients from many different units, its reasons, and Therapeutic Class of unserved drug items. The research applies descriptive method using prospective data i.e. 25,259 R/ sheets of prescriptions obtained by total sampling technique. The research was conducted in three months from February to April 2021. The result of the research shows that there are unfilled 467 R/ prescriptions due to several factors, such as the drugs are not listed in the formularies, the drugs are out of stock, and the prescribed or patient-requested drugs are not covered by the insurance. Internal medicine unit has the most unfilled prescriptions (160 out of 467). The main reason is the drugs are out of stock (133 out of 467). Medicines for Gastritic, Respiratory, Heart Diseases and Allergicare the top lists in the Therapeutic Class, which is in accordance with data showing that Intenal Medicine, Emergency Department dan General Practisioners, Pulmonary, Dermatology and Venereology, and Obstetrics and Gynecology are the top 5 polyclinics with the number of unserved prescriptions due to out of stock.

Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease caused by Mycrobacterium Tuberculosis that enters the body through inhaling the droplets, such as saliva or phlegm as the media, containing pulmonary tuberculosis of the infected person. Based on the data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) in 2020, East Jakarta is the location with the most TB patients in the entire Jakarta with a total of 12,334 patients. As the most populous administrative city in the Special Capital Region of Jakarta, East Jakarta is resided by 28.76% or around 3.04 million people out of 10.56 million people residing in the entire province. The total population in 2019 in Duren Sawit District alone reached 399,595 people with a population density per square kilometer is of 17.64, that makes the area one of the districts with a high population density in the administrative area of East Jakarta. This is what motivated us to conduct TB education counseling to the Woman of Family Welfare Empowerment Program in Duren Sawit Village. Statistical tests show an increase of knowledge of the respondent after TB education was carried out. This increase in knowledge falls into the medium category. The highest increase occurred in the question number 10 related to the role of the family in preventing TB transmission.
