Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan LKS berbasis inkuiri dengan pembelajaran konvensional menggunakan LKS  terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 17 Batam. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperiment dengan populasi 160 orang. Sampel penelitian adalah kelas XI IPA 4 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI IPA 3 sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes essay sebanyak 4 soal yang telah valid dan reliabel ( ). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji-t satu pihak untuk hippotesis 1 dan 2 serta uji-t polled varians untuk hipotesis 3 dengan taraf  keyakinan 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) pembelajaran menggunakan LKS berbasis inkuiri berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 17 Batam; (2) pembelajaran konvensioanal dengan menggunakan LKS tidak berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 17 Batam; (3) terdapat perbedaan antara pembelajaran menggunakan LKS berbasis inkuiri dengan pembelajaran konvensional menggunakan LKS terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 17 Batam. Kata Kunci: LKS, Inkuiri, Kemampuan Pemahaman Konsep Matematis Siswa.Abstract. This research aims to determine the effect of using inquiry-based student’s worksheet with conventional learning using student’s worksheet on the ability to understand mathematical concepts of class XI IPA SMA Negeri 17 Batam. Type of this research is a quasi experiment with the entirety population XI IPA SMA Negeri 17 Batam with amount 160 students. The research sample is XI IPA 4 as the experiment class and XI IPA 3 as the control class. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The intrument of this research is an essay test, which is 4 questions and has been valid and reliable ( . The data analysis technique used is one part t-test  for hyphoteses 1 and 2 with polled varians t-test for hyphoteses 3 with a 5% certainty level. The results showed that: (1) learning using inquiry-based student’s worksheet affected on the ability of understand mathematical concept class XI IPA SMA Negeri 17 Batam; (2) conventional learning using student’s worksheet hasn’t effect on the ability of understand mathematical concept class XI IPA SMA Negeri 17 Batam; (3) there is a difference between learning using inquiry-based student’s worksheet with conventional learning using student’s worksheet on the ability to understand mathematical concept class XI IPA SMA Negeri 17 Batam. keywords: Student’s Worksheet, Inquiry, Student’s Mathematical Concept Understanding Ability.

Abstract

Aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa di SMPIT 01 Darussalam Batam terdapat banyak siswa yang belum tuntas dalam mata pelajaran matematika. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini  adalah untuk mengetahui: pengaruh model pembelajaran Index Card Match (ICM) terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar matematika siswa. Adapun  Jenis penelitian yang di gunakan peneliti adalah eksperimen. Populasi penelitian ini siswa kelas VIII A dan VIII B dengan 2 kelas yang berjumlah 60 orang siswa. Pengambilan sampel dengan  purposive sampling. Dan data di peroleh menggunakan instrumen  lembar pengamatan dengan menggunakan validator dan instrumen tes (Essay). Adapun hasil penelitiannya bahwa: terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Index Card Match (ICM) terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar matematika siswa dan ini terlihat oleh aktivitas belajar dari uji hipotesis aktivitas belajar siswa yaitu  (10.303)  (2,007) dengan df = 58 dan dari hasil belajar siswa yaitu (9.846)  (2,007) dengan df = 58. Jadi terdapat pengaruh aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

 Insufficient and supportive teaching materials for students' mathematical creative thinking skills in the trigonometry course as the background of this research, with the aim of producing quality CTL-based trigonometry modules by paying attention to terms of validity, module practicality, effectiveness in terms of students' mathematical creative thinking abilities. The development of this module uses the ADDIE stages (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation). The research subjects are second semester students in the 2020/2021 academic year UNRIKA at Mathematics Education study program. Data were obtained from instruments in the form of a standard questionnaire for assessing teaching materials from BSNP to measure validity, student response questionnaires to measure practicality, and mathematical creative thinking ability test questions to measure effectiveness. Based on the results of the study, the percentage of achieving module validity from the assessment of material experts is 87.75% and media experts is 96.25%. These results are classified as very valid. For the practical aspect, the percentage of student response questionnaire achievement is 85.75% with a very good category. However, the module was declared to be not effective enough seen from the results of the mathematical creative thinking ability test which showed an average score of 68.25 with a complete learning outcome of 50%.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) telah menghadirkan berbagai inovasi dalam metode pengajaran matematika. Teknologi membuka pintu untuk pembelajaran yang lebih mudah dan menyenangkan, yang dapat meningkatkan minat serta pemahaman siswa terhadap matematika. Faktanya, pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pembelajaran masih belum dilakukan oleh sebagian besar guru. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman terkait pemanfaatan teknologi sebagai media yang dapat digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Sasaran kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah guru Mental Aritmatika ASMA Batam. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan dalam tiga tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Secara keseluruahan kegiatan pengabdian ini berjalan dengan baik. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari antusias peserta selama mengikuti kegiatan dan hasil evaluasi yang diberikan setelah berakhirnya kegiatan. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi secara keseluruhan peserta kegiatan merasa puas dengan pelaksanaan pengabdian ini dengan persentase kepuasan adalah 76,9% mengatakan sangat puas dan 21,1% puas.

Abstract

It is indicated that students' low mathematics learning outcomes are due to inappropriate learning media. The purpose of this research is: 1) The effectiveness of interactive student worksheets with live worksheets on students' mathematics learning outcomes. 2) The effectiveness of learning companion books on students' mathematics learning outcomes, and, 3) Differences in learning outcomes between students who were given worksheet media. live worksheet with students using learning companion book media. This research is experimental research with Quasi-Experimental Design. The research population was VIII grade students at MTs Negeri 1 Batam. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. Data collection uses a test method in the form of descriptive questions, which have been tested for validity and reliability. Hypothesis testing uses a one sample t-test and an independent sample t-test. Based on the research: (1) Interactive student worksheets with live worksheets are effective on student mathematics learning outcomes, with hypothesis test results, significant at 0.000 < 0.05 (2) Learning companion books are not effective on student mathematics learning outcomes, referring Hypothetical results have a significant value of 0.105 > 0.05 and (3) There are differences in learning outcomes between students using worksheet media and live worksheets and students using learning companion book media, referring to the probability value of Sig. (2-tailed) 0.020 < 0.025. Based on the research, it can be concluded that there is effectiveness in using worksheets with live worksheets on the mathematics learning outcomes of VIII grades students at MTs Negeri 1 Batam.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the relationship of numeration literacy and self-efficacy skills with the learning outcomes of class V SDIT Mutiara Insani Batam students. This research is a quantitative research. The population in this study is all students of grade V SDIT Mutiara Insani Batam, which is as many as 54 students. Sampling is done with saturated sample technique where all students become samples in this study. Test instruments in this study used validity and reliability tests. Where the validity and reliability results are valid and reliable. Data analysis using simple linear regression and multiple linear regression with two free variables. The results of the analysis showed that: (1) There is a significant link between numeration literacy skills to the mathematical results of grade V SDIT Mutiara Insani Batam students with r_x1y = 0.638. (2) There is a significant connection between self-efficacy to the mathematical results of grade V SDIT Mutiara Insani Batam students with r_x2y = 0.046. (3) There is a significant link between numeration literacy and self-efficacy literacy ability to study mathematics of grade V SDIT Mutiara Insani Batam with R_2x1y = 0.638. Abstract

Starting from the lack of students' reasoning level on numerical problems, considering the demands of the times and the independent curriculum where students apply technology and the three indicators of numeracy in learning, there is a need for electronic teaching materials in the form of e-modules based on live worksheets to enhance students' numeracy skills. The purpose of this study was to develop a mathematics E-module based on live worksheets to improve student numeracy that is practical and effective. This research method applies the Instructional Development Institute (IDI) procedural development model which consists of 3 main phases: the define phase, the develop phase, and the evaluate phase. This research is focused on the development phase which covers the practical aspects of the E-module, and the evaluation phase which assesses the effectiveness of the E-module. Meanwhile, the definition phase has been conducted in previous research. The subjects in this study were students of class X PPLG 2 SMK Negeri 7 Batam with a total of 40 students. The instrument used for practicality is using a questionnaire and to see the effectiveness of using an essay test. The practicality test in the teacher response questionnaire was 93% and the student response questionnaire was 86% with a very practical category. E-module effectiveness test based on student post-test results obtained 85% with a very effective category. Thus, the live worksheets-based math E-module to improve student numeracy that has been used is declared practical and effective.

Abstract

Low learning outcomes are indicated due to students' need for more understanding of concepts and their lack of self-confidence. The study aims to determine the combined contribution of the ability to comprehend concepts and self-confidence to the mathematics learning outcomes of 10th-grade students at SMK Plus Kemilau Bangsa Batam. The research design is correlational. The study population consists of a total of 82 students in the 10th grade at SMK Plus Kemilau Bangsa Batam. The sample for this study was taken using simple random sampling technique with the Slovin formula, resulting in 68 students. The instruments used were an essay test consisting of 8 questions and a questionnaire with 30 statements that have been validated and tested for reliability. The data analysis techniques employed were simple linear regression and multiple linear regression. The research findings indicate: (1) the ability to comprehend concepts contributes to mathematics learning outcomes with a coefficient of determination of 9.5%. (2) There is a contribution of self-confidence to mathematics learning outcomes with a coefficient of determination of 8.5%. (3) There is a combined contribution of the ability to comprehend concepts and self-confidence to mathematics learning outcomes with a coefficient of determination of 14.5%, and the regression equation is Y = 3.318 + 0.397X1 + 0.246X2.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to test effectivitytrategy Think Talk Write (TTW) of the ability of problem solving mathematical, and test whether the differences efektivity between strategy Think Talk Write (TTW) with determine saintific of the ability of problem solving mathematical students. The kind of research this quasi his experiments with design research posttest only control group design. Population in research it is a whole students grade VIII of SMP Negeri 34 Batam which consisted of 279 students which are divided into 7 class. echnique the sample researchers used was purposive sampling, where samples selected on a consideration of the principal and math teacher and chosen class VIII G as a class experiment and class VIII E as a class control with 39 students in each class. An instrument used research it will be a test the discussion as much as 4 about that has been tested validitas, reliability, the standart hardship and capacity classification. Based on researchers sig.(2-tailed) = 0.028 < 0.05 and sig.( 2-tailed ) 0.013 < 0.05. So that can be concluded Think Talk Write (TTW) effective in the ability of problem solving mathematical students and there is a difference effectivity between strategy Think Talk Write (TTW) with determine saintific of the ability of problem solving mathematical students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran contextual teaching and learning terhadap kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian quasi experimental dengan desain penelitian pre-test post-test control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII Pondok Pesantren Salafiyah Wustho An-Ni’mah Batam. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII A yang berjumlah 22 orang sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas VIII B yang berjumlah 12 orang sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan Teknik sampel jenuh. Data diperoleh dengan instrument tes sebanyak 2 butir soal yang telah di uji validitas dan reliabilitas (rii = 0,67). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis yang meliputi paired sample t-test dan independent sample t-test. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, 1)Model pembelajaran CTL efektif terhadap kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa. 2)Model pembelajaran Direct Instruction tidak efektif terhadap kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa. 3)Terdapat perbedaan keefektifan model pembelajaran CTL dan model pembelajaran Direct Instruction terhadap kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa.
