Abstract

One source of local revenue that has the potential to be developed to support regional fiscal capacity is revenue from regional levies. The purpose of this writing is to find out the strategy for increasing regional retribution revenue in Kendari City, Southeast Sulawesi Province. The results of the study found that the intensification strategy through improving the quality of public services and reforming the collection system, improving the quality of management staff, using technology, and increasing supervision, as well as the extensification strategy through updating rules, creating new regulations and establishing new sources of fees as well as increasing citizen awareness in Paying user fees is a strategy of the Kendari City government in an effort to increase local revenue.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out and analyze the effect of division of tasks, work climate and additional employee income on employee performance. The research uses a quantitative approach, involving 37 respondents taken randomly from 58 employees who make up the study population. The questionnaire uses a Likert scale, (1-5), data analysis uses a multiple regression model with SPSS version 26.0 facilities and hypothesis testing uses an alpha of 0.05. Research results 1) The division of tasks, work climate and provision of TPP have a significant effect on employee performance. The three variables show a significant positive effect on employee performance, meaning that the better the division of tasks, the conducive work climate and the fair provision of TPP, the higher the employee performance; 2) The results of the partial test also prove that the division of tasks has a significant effect on employee performance, the effect is positive and significant, meaning that a proportional division of tasks increases employee performance; 3) Work climate has a significant and positive effect on employee performance, meaning that the more conducive the work climate is, the higher the employee performance in carrying out their duties; 4) Provision of TPP has a significant and positive effect on employee performance, meaning that the fairer the TPP is, the employee's performance will also increase.

Abstract

The research problems are: 1) Do competence and provision of functional allowances simultaneously have a significant effect on the performance of agricultural instructors?; 2) Does competency have a significant effect on the performance of agricultural instructors?; 3) Does the provision of functional allowances have a significant effect on the performance of agricultural instructors? The approach used uses quantitative methods in answering research problems, by conducting a survey of all agricultural instructors in West Muna Regency in 11 UPTs of Agricultural Extension Centers and Agricultural Service Headquarters, totaling 68 people, and a sample of 40 respondents was determined using the Slovin method in determine the number of samples. The research instrument is a questionnaire with a Likert scale with a score range of 1-5. Data analysis used a multiple regression model, with the help of SPSS version 26. The significance test used an alpha criterion of 0.05 to test the proposed hypothesis. The results of the research were concluded: 1) Competency and provision of functional allowances simultaneously had a significant effect on the performance of agricultural extension officers; 2) Competence has a significant effect on the performance of agricultural instructors; 3) providing functional allowances also has a significant effect on the performance of agricultural instructors. Both variables show a positive influence, meaning that the better the competence and satisfactory provision of functional allowances, the better the performance of agricultural instructors.

Abstract

This study investigates the potential of Walasiho Village, with Biru Lake as its main attraction icon, to be developed into a superior tourism village. Using quantitative descriptive analysis to analyze the feasibility score of Walasiho Village into a tourism village that includes indicators such as attractions, accessibility, facilities, and additional services, Walasiho Village achieved a score of 70.50, indicating its feasibility for tourism village development. SWOT analysis to measure the internal and external environment identifies key strengths, including the natural beauty of Biru Lakes, strong community support, and opportunities such as local government support and high public interest in tourism. However, drawbacks such as inadequate facilities and a lack of innovative attractions are also noted. The study recommends the need for strategic initiatives to address these weaknesses, including capacity building and infrastructure upgrades. The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the tourism sector has further demonstrated the need for resilient and adaptive strategies. This research contributes to the understanding of rural tourism development and provides actionable recommendations for sustainable development, local economic development, and community welfare in Walasiho village. Future research should explore the long-term effects of tourism development on local communities and evaluate the success of strategies implemented.
