Abstract

Ibn Sina, known in the Western world as Avicenna, was a prominent intellectual figure in the Islamic tradition of the 10th and 11th centuries. His thoughts on education reflect a holistic approach that integrates intellectual, spiritual, and moral dimensions. Ibn Sina perceived education not merely as a process of knowledge transfer but also as a means of character building and the comprehensive development of human potential. This study employs a qualitative method with a historical-descriptive approach to explore the ideas and implementation of Ibn Sina's educational philosophy within the context of Islamic education. The findings indicate that Ibn Sina emphasized the importance of educational objectives, teaching methods, curriculum, and developmental stages of learners. He advocated for a balance between worldly and spiritual knowledge, as well as the alignment of education with children's psychological development. His integrative and progressive ideas have significantly contributed to shaping the paradigm of Islamic education and remain relevant for modern educational systems.

The research findings is moral education simply has the aim of improving student behavior and instilling it deeply so that the urge to have good behavior remains embedded in him. Humans have good innate potential (fithrah). Education as an effort to humanize humans is carried out to deliver humans to be as before, in a good state. Abstract

The purpose of education is an important component in educational studies. The purpose of education leads to the achievement of something that is achieved by individuals after carrying out education. In this case, the formulation of educational goals leads to what conditions are expected in the educational process. The expected conditions or goals to be achieved will of course be different according to one's outlook on life as well as the will of the country where he lives. The goals of education in one country are also different from the goals of education in other countries. However, even though the formulation of educational goals in various countries is different, there is one goal that is agreed upon, namely that human beings are intelligent, skilled, and become good citizens. The research used the library study method. Documentation techniques are carried out in order to obtain a complete picture of the text being searched for. The results of the research showed that in the study of the terminology of objectives, there are at least several terms associated with the meaning of these objectives. In English, the terms objective, aim, purposes and goals are known; whereas in Arabic the terms ghâyah, hadf, and maqâshid are also known. In this case the use of the term must be appropriate in accordance.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the change in the 2013 curriculum with the Merdeka curriculum. The purpose of this research is to find out how the implementation of Islamic religious education lessons in the independent curriculum in grade 1 (low grade). This research comes from teachers, principals, and supervisors. The research was conducted using a qualitative method, namely by collecting data from observations, interviews, and documentation. To ensure the validity of the data, several efforts are made as follows: (a) extending the data collection period, (b) make continuous and serious observations, (c) perform triangulation, and (d) involve colleagues to discuss. From this, it turns out that there are still many people who reject this change in curriculum. This curriculum change was considered very sudden. Many students complain due to the large number of presentation assignments at school, the large number of group work assignments outside of class hours, even though learning with this independent curriculum is considered more relaxed, and the material provided is also less. However, in the future students will be faced with other students who study more material such as students in the 2013 curriculum, so students with an independent curriculum will be left behind. The independent curriculum focuses on character development, student competence, and honing children's interests and talents. From this change in the independent curriculum, many students rejected the existence of this curriculum, because this change was considered very sudden.
