Abstract

In the current era of information technology, information technology has helped and facilitatedhuman life from various dimensions. One of the products of the very rapid development ofinformation technology is E-commerce. E-commerce is a means or place to buy and sell goods,services and information via the internet network on computers or other electronic means. Ecommerce(Electronic Commerce) can be used in marketing agricultural products and has had amajor influence on the growth of the social and economic order of society. The purpose of thisservice is so that farmers who are in the Teratai village of Batang Hari Regency can increase theirknowledge of marketing agricultural products through E-Commerce, and train participants tomarket their agricultural products through E-Commerce and provide real time price information.The method used is counseling and training activities. The results of this service activity are toprovide benefits for training participants in increasing their knowledge and skills for businessdevelopment through the use of marketing agricultural products using E-Commerce. By marketingproducts through E-Commerce, it is hoped that in the future the business carried out by them will bemore developed, and the sales volume of agricultural products will increase in a fast time

Abstract

Empowerment of women through the use of local resources provides change and progress in Rantau Puri Village located in Muara Bulian District, Batang Hari Regency. Local resources as a dimension of local wisdom include Natural Resources (SDA), Human Resources (HR), and Socio-Cultural Resources that must be utilized to achieve change, progress and prosperity. Utilization of these three local resources in an integrated manner can provide independence. The kepok banana is one of the local natural resources developed by the local community, the kepok banana was chosen because it is often found in the local area. Banana kepok can be processed into chips with various flavors and also opaque, while for the heart of banana kepok you can make steak. Processing made from bananas is still done traditionally or manually so that the resulting product does not meet market demand. The purpose of this service is to provide assistance to the joint business group (KUBE) of Rantau Puri village through the use of local resources to be managed into regional superior products. The service will be held on October 2, 9 and 16, 2021. The methods used to achieve the objectives include: (a) socialization of the program to target groups, local government and communities (b) counseling on the use of local resources (c) skills training to target groups . The results of community service in the form of empowerment or assistance to women through the use of kepok bananas which are processed into banana chips, opaque and steak. The conclusion of this service is that there needs to be further assistance to the community to be wiser and skilled both in terms of skills and technology in the use of local resources.

Abstract

The Covid 19 pandemic that occurred in Indonesia since the beginning of March 2020, resulted in several business activities being suspended, mass layoffs, decreased people's income, and the people's purchasing power for goods also decreased. Based on the results of the analysis of The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) in April 2020, it shows that the growth of the manufacturing sector was 3.0% to -1.5% (corrected -4.5%) and the service sector 7.2% to 2.4% (corrected -4.8%), sector growth agriculture was only revised from 4.1% to 3.2% (corrected-0.9%). This shows that the Covid 19 pandemic has the least impact on businesses in the agricultural sector so that entrepreneurial opportunities in the agricultural sector are still large. In the Teratai village, Muara Bulian district, Batang Hari Regency, Jambi Province, most of the entrepreneurs owned by the residents are processed agricultural products in the form of snacks such as various cakes, chips, bread, and side dishes. Through community service activities in the form of counseling and assistance for entrepreneurial management, it can encourage people to develop businesses and manage a business with good management. The survey results showed that 66.67% experienced a decrease in demand for products offered during the Covid 19 pandemic and 33.33% demand for products offered remains the same as before the Covid 19 pandemic. The causes of decreased demand among others are a lack of knowledge of changes in consumer behavior, limited space due to the Covid 19 pandemic, and a lack of technological knowledge to market products.

Abstract

Community service based on the Study Program proposed by the Agrotechnology Study Program, Agribusiness Study Program and Management Study Program of Graha Karya Muara Bulian University is Training and Coaching the Commercialization of Agribusiness Micro Business Products of the Farmer Group Mekar Kembali Rambahan Village, Muara Bulian District, Batanghari Regency, Jambi Province to Face the Era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. This service activity was carried out because the Mekar Kembali Farmer Group is an area close to the Graha Karya Muara Bulian University Campus. On this occasion, the service that will be carried out is training and coaching the commercialization of products to agribusiness micro-enterprises in the Mekar Kembali Farmer Group, Rambahan Village, Muara Bulian District, Batanghari Regency, Jambi Province.  This is done because the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 has brought changes to product commercialization methods, so in an effort to capture these good enough commercialization opportunities so that they are not inferior to similar products domestically and abroad, this community service activity is carried out. So that in the end it can expand market share, increase income, and open up new jobs. After this activity was carried out, training participants (agribusiness micro-enterprises) gained additional knowledge about good products and production, commercial products, new marketing networks and product commercialization mechanisms in the digital era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. Service activities will continue to the coaching stage of packaging improvement, so that products can be marketed digitally

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah : 1). untuk mengetahui faktor – faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat produksi kelapa sawit di Kecamatan Bajubang Kabupaten Batanghari . Penelitian ini dilakukan dilakukan pada Kecamatan Bajubang sebagai wilayah studi dan Desa Petajen sebagai wilayah referensi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan September sampai dengan oktober 2021. Pada penelitian ini menggunakaan data yang telah dikumpulkan diteliti dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Analisis data kualitatif berupa karakteristik sosial ekonomi petani dilakukan melalui proses penyaringan data, pengkategorian/penggolangan dan penyimpulan. Dalam proses analisis data kualitatif, setiap interpretasi logis atas data akan dilengkapi dengan data-data kuantitatif sepanjang data tersebut dapat mendukung, mempertajam dan memperjelas interpretasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh data Hasil uji t (parsial) nilai t tabel adalah 1,746 dengan tingkat signifikasi 0,05 (alfa 5%) diperoleh thitung untuk variabel luas lahan adalah sebesar 2,511 dan signifikasi sebesar 0,004 (sig < 0,05), t hitung untuk variabel modal adalah sebesar 4,412 dengan nilai signifikasdi sebesar 0,000 (Sig<0,05), thitung untuk variabel tenaga kerja adalah sebesart 3,102 dengan nilai signifikasi sebesar 0,001 (sig<0,05). Berdasarkan hasil uji t tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa luas lahan, modal dan tenaga kerja di Desa Petajen Kecamatan Bajubang secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produksi kelapa sawit. Berdasarkan hasil uji F (uji serempak) diperoleh nilai Fhitung sebesar 18,733 atau lebih besar dari Ftabel yakni 3,24 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa luas lahan, modal dan tenaga kerja serempak memiliki pengaruh terhadap produksi kelapa sawit. Koefisien determinasi atau Adjusted R Square adalah sebesar 0,737 hal ini berarti 73,7% dari variasi variabel produksi kelapa sawit yang dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel independen luas lahan, modal dan tenaga kerja.

Abstract

The lotus village is located in Muara Bulian District, Batang Hari Regency, Jambi Province. During the Covid-19 Pandemic, the people in Teratai Village also felt panic and anxiety. One of the efforts to overcome this epidemic is by continuing to maintain stamina to stay healthy, one of which is by utilizing ginger-based drinks. Ginger contains bioactives that can function as antioxidants with the active ingredient zingeron which is very beneficial for health. This Community Service aims to introduce various processed drinks with ginger-based ingredients, to help foster interest in home-based businesses that use ginger as a base, as well as provide direction regarding the marketing of home business products during a pandemic. The extension method is carried out to introduce to the public about various preparations with the basic ingredients of ginger. Apart from ginger, it turns out that ginger can be made for Andrek drinks, Ronde, sekoteng and many more. Questionnaire results from 21 respondents showed that the people of Teratai Village were in an effort to overcome the Covid-19 pandemic by always maintaining their health. A business that has been passed down from generation to generation and is still being carried out by making ginger based drinks. However, due to the limitations of knowledge and information, the public only knows ginger, which is a ginger-based product.
