Abstract

In the current era of information technology, information technology has helped and facilitatedhuman life from various dimensions. One of the products of the very rapid development ofinformation technology is E-commerce. E-commerce is a means or place to buy and sell goods,services and information via the internet network on computers or other electronic means. Ecommerce(Electronic Commerce) can be used in marketing agricultural products and has had amajor influence on the growth of the social and economic order of society. The purpose of thisservice is so that farmers who are in the Teratai village of Batang Hari Regency can increase theirknowledge of marketing agricultural products through E-Commerce, and train participants tomarket their agricultural products through E-Commerce and provide real time price information.The method used is counseling and training activities. The results of this service activity are toprovide benefits for training participants in increasing their knowledge and skills for businessdevelopment through the use of marketing agricultural products using E-Commerce. By marketingproducts through E-Commerce, it is hoped that in the future the business carried out by them will bemore developed, and the sales volume of agricultural products will increase in a fast time

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menganalisis kelayakan usahatani penangkaran benih padi berdasarkan aspek finansial (NPV, IRR dan NET B/C) di Desa Lubuk Ruso, Kecamatan Pemayung Kabupaten Batang Hari. Penelitian ini di lakukan mulai dari November 2017 sampai dengan Juli 2018 dengan pertimbangan di Desa Lubuk Ruso merupakan sentra benih padi unggul tetapi di Desa Lubuk Ruso masih banyak yang tidak menggunakan benih unggul, jika menggunakan benih unggul maka akan meningkatkan produksi tanaman baik kualitas maupun kuantitas dan meningkatkan harga jual. Petani responden di tentukan secara acak sederhana (Simple Random Sampling) sebanyak 20 orang atau 45% dari jumlah total 45 orang anggota kelompok tani yang melakukan pinjaman di bank dengan bunga 9%. Metode analisis data adalah analisis kelayakan dengan menggunakan NPV, IRR dan NET B/C. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa 20 orang petani dari kelompok Suko Tani II yang melakukan pinjaman bank dengan bunga 9% mendapatkan total pendapatan Rp. 3.682.708.030 selama 5 tahun, jika NPV lebih dari >1, maka usahatani penangkaran banih padi layak untuk di usahakan dan menguntungkan. Analisi dengan menggunakan IRR yaitu 95% lebih besar dari tingkat pengembalian yaitu 9%. Sedangkan nilai NET B/C yaitu sebesar 6 lebih besar dari 1, maka usahatani penangkaran benih padi di Desa Lubuk Ruso Kecamatan Pemayung Kabupaten Batang Hari layak untuk di usahakan dan menguntungkan.

Abstract

Farmers in their daily farming activities cannot be separated from the use of chemicals, especially fertilizers and pesticides. From an early age, it is necessary to seek an understanding of farmer children about the safe use of chemicals in their use and the impact of these chemicals on the safety of the agricultural products (vegetables and fruit). The purpose of this activity is to provide knowledge and awareness about how to minimize pesticide residues on vegetables and fruit so that these agricultural products are safe for family consumption for students at MTs Lempur, Gunung Raya District, Kerinci Regency, Jambi. The method used is face-to-face counseling by providing literature of material and conducting questions and answers deepening the material as well as quizzes with prizes at the end of the session. Community service activities regarding counseling on how to minimize pesticide residues in food, vegetables and fruit have been carried out well, and have received enthusiastic responses from students at MTs Lempur, Gunung Raya District, Kerinci Regency.

Abstract

The Covid 19 pandemic that occurred in Indonesia since the beginning of March 2020, resulted in several business activities being suspended, mass layoffs, decreased people's income, and the people's purchasing power for goods also decreased. Based on the results of the analysis of The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) in April 2020, it shows that the growth of the manufacturing sector was 3.0% to -1.5% (corrected -4.5%) and the service sector 7.2% to 2.4% (corrected -4.8%), sector growth agriculture was only revised from 4.1% to 3.2% (corrected-0.9%). This shows that the Covid 19 pandemic has the least impact on businesses in the agricultural sector so that entrepreneurial opportunities in the agricultural sector are still large. In the Teratai village, Muara Bulian district, Batang Hari Regency, Jambi Province, most of the entrepreneurs owned by the residents are processed agricultural products in the form of snacks such as various cakes, chips, bread, and side dishes. Through community service activities in the form of counseling and assistance for entrepreneurial management, it can encourage people to develop businesses and manage a business with good management. The survey results showed that 66.67% experienced a decrease in demand for products offered during the Covid 19 pandemic and 33.33% demand for products offered remains the same as before the Covid 19 pandemic. The causes of decreased demand among others are a lack of knowledge of changes in consumer behavior, limited space due to the Covid 19 pandemic, and a lack of technological knowledge to market products.

Abstract

Abstrak Pembangunan pertanian pada dasarnya merupakan salah satu sistem pembangunan yang tidak kalah pentingnya dalam mendukung keberhasilan pembangunan nasional. Pembangunan sektor pertanian bertujuan untuk menumbuhkembangkan usaha pertanian di pedesaan yang akan memacu aktivitas ekonomi pedesaan, menciptakan lapangan pekerjaan dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Penelitian bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui tingkat pendapatan usahatani padi sawah di desa Pasar Terusan Kabupaten Batang Hari. (2) menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pendapatan usahatani padi sawah di desa Pasar Terusan Kabupaten Batang Hari. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif, sedangkan metode yang digunakan adalah metode survei. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Desa Pasar Terusan Kecamatan Muara Bulian Kabupaten Batang Hari Provinsi Jambi dengan jumlah responden 51 orang petani yang ditentukan secara purposive. Metode alat analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis pendapatan dan analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata pendapatan yang diperoleh petani dalam satu periode sebesar Rp. 12.564.530 pendapatan ini diperoleh dari selisih total penerimaan dan total biaya usaha tani padi sawah dalam satu periode. Hal ini berarti usaha tani padi sawah cukup baik untuk diusahakan. Sedangkan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pendapatan usahatani padi sawah di desa Pasar Terusan adalah faktor produksi benih, pupuk, dan pestisida sedangkan faktor tenaga kerja tidak berpengaruh.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor - faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat produksi padi sawah dan faktor produksi apa yang paling berpengaruh terhadap produksi padi sawah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Simpang Terusan Kecamatan Muara Bulian Kabupaten Batang Hari. Metode ini menggunakan data primer dan data sekunder. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode accidental sampling dengan 40 petani sebagai responden. Variabel yang diukur dalam penelitian ini adalah luas lahan benih pupuk pestisida dan tenaga kerja. Hasil penelitian maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa luas lahan benih pupuk pestisida dan tenaga kerja secara signifikan berpengaruh terhadap produksi padi sawah dengan nilai f-hitung > f-Tabel (f-hitung 460821 > f-tabel 249) dan luas lahan merupakan faktorĀ  yang paling berpengaruh terhadap produksi padi sawah dengan nilai t hitung 2536> t tabel 203.

Abstract

Kentang merupakan komoditas terpenting di dunia setelah beras, jagung dan gandum. Menurut data statistik tanaman sayuran BPS, produksi kentang Indonesia antara 2016 sampai 2020 adalah [2016] 1.213.041-ton, [2017] 1.164.738-ton, [2018] 1.284.762-ton, [2019] 1.314.657-ton, hingga 1.282.762-ton [2020]. Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat untuk memberikan pemahaman, meningkatkan efisiensi biaya produksi dan produksi petani kentang. Objek sasaran pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah petani kentang yang belum menerapkan teknik pemasangan mulsa plastik hitam perak. Metode pelaksanaan pelatihan adalah pemberian materi dan praktik latihan langsung tentang teknik pemasangan mulsa plastik hitam perak, lubang tanam pada lahan, agar mengurangi biaya dan peningkatan produksi kentang yang optimal. Hasil dari pelaksanaan pengabdian adalah pemahaman yang baik dalam penerapan teknik penggunaan mulsa plastik hitam perak. Dengan adanya pelatihan dan praktik pemasangan mulsa plastik hitam perak diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman, efisiensi biaya dan produksi petani kentang

Abstract

Good and attractive product packaging and labeling techniques are needed to support a food product. Not all food business actors such as Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) can apply modern packaging techniques. Until now, product packaging techniques are still a problem for food businesses, especially Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. Problems regarding product packaging and labels become obstacles for the development or progress of a business. The problem that occurs in snack business actors in Pematang Gajah Village is that business actors do not know how to package products in an attractive way so that buyers can easily recognize them. The purpose of community service activities is to transfer packaging knowledge and technology so that production is easy to market. This community service activity takes the form of mentoring, counseling and training for micro-entrepreneurs processing snacks, such as sweet potato chips, banana chips, peanut brittle and fish crackers in Pematang Gajah Village, Jambi Outer City District, Muaro Jambi Regency. Product packaging functions as a means of protecting the product and increasing the attractiveness of the product in the market, while labeling functions as the identity of a product so that consumers can choose the right product.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat ketahanan pangan keluarga penerima manfaat bantuan sosial pangan di Kabupaten Batang Hari, dan untuk mengetahui tingkat kerawanan pangan keluarga penerima manfaat bantuan sosial pangan di Kabupaten Batang Hari. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data skunder, perolehan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, survey dan wawancara responden penelitian. Responden yang diambil berdasarkan teknik probability sampilng; simple random sampling, penentuan responden ini dilakukan dengan teknik insindental, dari total populasi sejumlah 3.791 orang dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin diperoleh responden sebanyak 40 orang. Metode analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode Deskriptif Analitis. Jenis penelitan deskriptif ini menggunakan metode Case Study yaitu penelitan yang menggambarkan secara mendetail tentang latar belakang, sifat maupun karakter khas dari suatu kasus terutama pada rumah tangga keluarga penerima bantuan sosial pangan atau Bantuan Pangan Non Tunai di Kabupaten Batang Hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi ketahanan pangan keluarga penerima manfaat bantuan sosial pangan di Kabupaten Batang Hari adalah tidak tahan pangan. Terdapat 7,50% keluarga yang tergolong tahan pangan, 92,50% tidak tahan pangan., 95,00% keluarga tidak mengalami kerawanan pangan dan 5,00% keluarga megalami kerawanan pangan. Kata kunci :Bantuan sosial pangan, pola konsumsi pangan, ketahanan pangan, dan kerawanan pangan. ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the level of food security of families who are beneficiaries of food social assistance in Batang Hari Regency, and to determine the level of food insecurity of families who are beneficiaries of food social assistance in Batang Hari Regency. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data, data acquisition was carried out by observation, survey and interview techniques of research respondents. Respondents were taken based on probability sampling technique; simple random sampling, the determination of respondents was done by incidental technique, from a total population of 3,791 people using the Slovin formula, 40 respondents were obtained. The method of data analysis in this study used the Analytical Descriptive method. This type of descriptive research uses the Case Study method, which is research that describes in detail the background, nature and distinctive character of a case, especially in households receiving social food assistance or Non-Cash Food Aid for in Batang Hari Regency. The results of the study indicate that the condition of food security of families who are beneficiaries of food social assistance in Batang Hari Regency is not food insecure. There are 7.50% of families classified as food insecure, 92.50% not food insecure., 95.00% of families not experiencing food insecurity and 5.00% of families experiencing food insecurity.
