Abstract

This study aims to see the role of animated learning media in increasing students' interest in learning mathematics. This study uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method in which researchers examine, evaluate and describe relevant previous studies. The results showed that the use of interactive and innovative learning media could increase students' interest in learning in the field of mathematics. Animated learning media can be used as an innovation in learning mathematics. One of the easy-to-use animated learning media applications is PowToon

Abstract

Learning media is a tool that teachers use to communicate with students so that the information they receive reaches them effectively. The success of the teaching and learning process is heavily influenced by current learning media. The majority of learning media is still conventional, which has an impact on students' motivation to learn mathematics. The goal of this study is to expose people to knowledge on the impact of instructional media on math learning in schools, as well as the benefits of employing instructional media. The reader will be able to study how learning media plays an important part in education and the impact of learning media correctness on mathematics learning in schools as a result of this research. This research takes a qualitative approach, describing and explaining the impact of instructional media on math learning. The method of data collection used in this study was library research. The purpose of this literature review was to gather theoretical material so that researchers could write with a solid theoretical foundation. There is an impact and urgency on achieving learning objectives by using the appropriate learning media to carry out the teaching and learning process

Abstract

Berdasarkan data PISA 2018 rata-rata skor kemampuan matematika di Indonesia masih dibawah skor rata-rata dengan skor 379. Oleh karenanya, peneliti tertarik untuk meneliti mengenai faktor minat terhadap matematika. Adapun untuk penelitian menggunakan angket dan menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitaif. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah para mahasiswa yang menetap di Pondok Pesantren Salafiyah Al-Mu’awanah yang terdiri dari beberapa mahasiswa dari berbagai jurusan yang berasal dari kampus UIN Sunan Gunung Djati, UPI Kampus Cibiru, dan STAI Al-Jawami. Berdasarkan hasil uji diperoleh hanya hasrat dan keinginan berhasil yang menjadi faktor minat terhadap matematika dengan presentase 72% dan kriteria kuat adapun indikator indikator dorongan dan kebutuhan, harapan dan cita-cita masa depan,penghargaan dalam belajar, kegiatan yang menarik dalam belajar, serta lingkungan belajar yang kondusif masih dibawah kriteria kuat.
