Abstract

This study aimed to determine creative thinking ability of students received Mind Map Cycle, Spiders Mind Map and Conventional learning. Research was quasi experimental method with 8th grade students in one of junior high schools in Bandung as the subjects. Research instrument consist of pretest and posttest that contains questions to determine students ability to think creatively on geometry subjects. Results showed that based on posttest score, students’ creative thinking ability was as follows: average score was 60.0 for Cycle Mind Map class, 66.2 for Spiders Mind Map class and 54.2 for Conventional class, from maximum score of 100. Anova analysis suggested that differences between treatment (class) did occur (p= 0.00, p< 0,05). Furthermore, average N-gain for Cycle Mind Map Class and Spiders Mind Map class were 0.47 and 0.51 (moderate), while for Conventional class was 0.36 (low). Abstract

The guide to the Islamic religion is the holy book Al-Qur'an, which should be read exactly according to the rules of Tajweed and understood as a guide to life. There are still students in this field who are not good at reading the Qur’an and need alternative methods to practice and improve their ability to read the Qur’an. The purpose of this study is to provide educators with knowledge on how to practice good Qur’an reading using different methods such as Talaqqi and Tasin methods. This study uses quantitative methods combined with experimental methods. Data collection was carried out by means of a reading test of several Quranic verses used to measure Qur’an reading ability. The research subjects were 35 Santri people. Data analysis used SPSS Statistic 26 application, specifically multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study show that talaqqi and tahsin methods have a significant influence on students' ability to read the Qur’an. 41.8% of a person's ability to read the Qur’an is influenced by talaqqi and tasin methods, the remaining 58.2% by other factors.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari tingkat pemecahan masalah siswa dengan menggunakan teknik Probing-Prompting Scaffolding. Analisis ini dilakukan dengan metode quasi eksperimen. Dimana, metode eksperimen semu untuk mempelajari hubungan antara konsultasi dengan aspek tertentu yang telah disetujui. Perlakuan diberikan kepada beberapa sampel yang diambil dari peserta. Sampel ini terdiri dari siswa dalam satu kelas, jadi penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu dengan instrumen tes dan instrumen non-tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perbedaan tingkat dan penyelesaian masalah matematis antara kelas, dari uraian yang paling baik yaitu kelas Proding-Prompting, perancah konvensional dan Probing-Prompting . Kesulitan yang dialami siswa dapat diminimalisir dengan cara membantu soal latihan non-rutin. Pembelajaran Probing-Prompting Scaffolding , siswa mampu melakukan penemuan baru, memfasilitasi sosial, serta melakukan refleksi, sehingga dapat meningkatkan kemampuan memecahkan masalah belajar siswa.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine existence or absence of the influence and interaction between the learning models (PBL, PjBL, Conventional) and students' school origins in determining psychomotor learning outcomes in the subject of Islamic Faith and Morality. The method used in this research is a quantitative approach with a Quasi-Experimental Design using the Nonequivalent Control Group Design type. The research results indicate that the implementation of the PBL, PjBL, and Conventional learning models in determining psychomotor learning outcomes in Islamic Faith and Morality does not significantly differ from each other. This is reinforced by the Post Hoc Model Learning table. PBL vs. PjBL with an Asymp. Sig. value of 0.260 > 0.05. PBL vs. Conventional with an Asymp. Sig. value of 0.083 > 0.05. PjBL vs. Conventional with an Asymp. Sig. value of 1.000 > 0.05. In conclusion, there are differences in students' psychomotor learning outcomes based on the learning model with an Asymp. Sig. value of 0.001 < 0.05. There are no differences in students' psychomotor learning outcomes based on school origins with an Asymp. Sig. value of 0.470 > 0.05, and there’s an interaction between the learning model and school origins as evidenced by the Asymp.Sig. value of 0.007 < 0,05. So the implications in this research illustrate that students' psychomotor learning outcomes in the Akidah Akhlak subject are more dominantly influenced by the learning model applied in the classroom rather than the student's school origin.

Abstract

The quality of education in Indonesia still needs to be improved by evaluating on the boutiques and student answer sheets. So this research aims: (1) Clarifying the End of Year Mathematics Lesson Assessments (EYA)'s sheets based on the Bloom's Taxonomy; (2) Counting percentages on the boutiques and the correct answers based on the Bloom's Taxonomy; and (3) Analyze the EYA's grain based on the Winsteps app. This research is a qualitative research with therapeutic methods. Data is the documentation method form 35 boutiques of EYA mathematical subjects and 277 sheets of student answers class VIII in teaching 2021/2022. The research results: (1) There are 11 Lower Order Thinking Skills (LOTS) grains, 16 Middle Order Thinking Skills (MOTS) grains, and 8 HOTS grains; (2) Percentage of grains resulting is 31% of LOTS, 46% of MOTS, and 23% of the HOTS with percentages of the correct answers is 51.5% on LOTS, 42% on MOTS, and 35% on HOTS; and (3) Results of analysis using Rasch model obtained 31 of 35 will have been valid with 4 remaining needs revised, the reliability includes the category is sufficient with the alpha value of 0.72, has a sufficiently diverse level of disassembling, the power of the distinguishing is good, and the effectiveness of its refining has 100% function .

Abstract

Abstrak This research is development research for improving quality lecture of Education Research Statistic at Mathematics Education Study Program in UIN Bandung. Produce of this research are design and teaching-learning equipment. Teaching-learning equipment consisted of lecture program and text book with guide of laboratory work. Implementation teaching –learning design use teaching-learning equipment with combinated convensional learning in the class and learning by computer (computer asssited learning) in the computer laboratory. The research subject consisted of 2007 and 2008 academic year student of Mathematics Education Study Program in UIN Bandung. This research used some instrument consisted : 1) questionnaire of student response, 2) observation sheet, and 3) student achievement test. Based the data analysis was concluded that : (1) current lecture of Education Research Statistic is conventional method, use speech method more dominate, implementated lecture more in the classes, student can less opportunity for data processing through statistic software (SPSS) , 2) have produce prototype of design and computer assited learning equipment, 3) the management of lecturer competency in computer assited learning is good, 4) the mayority of student give response very like to the implementation of design and teaching-learning equipment, 5) the lecture quality with assited computer is good that showed to student achievement and the level of student statistic compute skill, based indicator formula in the classical the all of student are completely, while the level of student statistic compute skill is good that showed from the various of their activities in operation of statistic software (SPSS) for analysis of statistic data. Key word : Teaching –Learning Design and Teaching-Learning Equipment Abstrak Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas perkuliahan Statistik Penelitian Pendidikan di lingkungan Prodi Pendidikan Matematika UIN Bandung. Dalam penelitian ini dikembangkan desain dan perangkat pembelajaran yang berbantuan komputer. Perangkat yang dikembangkan meliputi Satuan Acara Perkuliahan, Buku Ajar yang dilengkapi dengan panduan praktikum, sedangkan desain pembelajaran yang diterapkan mengimplementasikan perangkat tersebut dengan mengkombinasikan tatap muka di ruang kelas dan di laboratorium komputer. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Matematika UIN Bandung angkatan 2007 dan 2008. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari : 1) angket respon mahasiswa, 2) lembar observasi dan 3) tes hasil belajar mahasiswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, maka diperoleh kesimpulan : (1) perkuliahan Statistik Penelitian Pendidikan yang selama ini berlangsung masih bersifat konvensional, penggunaan metode ceramah lebih mendominasi, perkuliahan lebih banyak dilakukan di ruang-ruang kelas, mahasiswa kurang mendapat kesempatan untuk mengolah data statisttik melalui software SPSS, (2) dihasilkan prototipe desain dan perangkat pembelajaran berbantuan komputer (3) kemampuan dosen dalam mengelola pembelajaran berbantuan komputer dikategorikan baik, (4) sebagian besar mahasiswa memberikan respon sangat senang terhadap desain dan perangkat pembelajaran yang diterapkan, (5) kualitas perkuliahan berbantuan komputer tergolong baik, hal ini ditunjukkan dengan hasil belajar dan tingkat keterampilan komputasi statistik mahasiswa, secara klasikal indikator yang dirumuskan semuanya tuntas, sedangkan tingkat keterampilan komputasi statistik mahasiswa adalah baik, hal ini ditunjukkan dari berbagai aktivitasnya dalam mengoperasikan program SPSS untuk menganalisis data statistik. Abstract

Pemanfaatan informasi teknologi khususnya QR code dalam pendidikan masih kurang. Oleh karena itu peneliti ingin menggunakan QR Code sebagai tekik evaluasi pada pelajaran matematika. Selama ini teknik evaluasi yang digunakan guru adalah teknik evaluasi biasa, sementara itu siswa tampak berharap lebih banyak bantuan dari teman sebayanya dalam mengerjakan soal – soal matematika, dikarenakan juga siswa kurang kreatif dan kurang mandiri dalam mengerjakan soal – soal matematika. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan QR Code sebagai teknik evaluasi pada materi program linear. Pernyataan masalah adalah apakah siswa yang teknik evaluasinya menggunakan aplikasi QR Code kemampuan kreatif dan kemandiriannya lebih baik daripada siswa yang teknik evaluasinya tidak menggunakan aplikasi QR Code. Jumlah siswa dikelas X jurusan Adminstrasi Perkantoran di SMK Indonesia Raya Bandung tahun pelajaran 2018/2019 adalah 34 siswa kelas eksperimen dan 34 siswa kelas control. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa yang teknik evaluasi menggunakan aplikasi QR code kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan kemandiriannya lebih baik daripada siswa yang menggunakan teknik evaluasi biasa.

Abstract

The low students' mathematical critical thinking ability in one of the high schools in Bandung City is a problem that requires teachers to develop and implement innovative learning approaches. Various previous studies have shown that creative learning and encouraging active involvement of students can improve critical thinking skills. This study uses a mixed method with an embedded design type, especially an embedded experimental design model, and adopts a pretest-posttest control group design. The purpose of this study is to examine the effectiveness of the Desmos-assisted Creative Problem Solving (CPS) learning model in improving students' mathematical critical thinking skills. The population of this study is high school students in the city of Bandung, with a purposive sampling technique to select two classes as a sample. The instruments used included mathematical critical thinking ability tests, observation sheets, and interview guidelines. The results of the data analysis showed that the improvement in mathematical critical thinking skills of students who obtained Desmos-assisted CPS learning was higher compared to students in the control class. Therefore, the Desmos-assisted CPS learning model is effectively used in an effort to improve students' mathematical critical thinking skills, especially in social studies classes students, and can be used as an alternative approach to learning mathematics in schools. This research is expected to contribute to the development of mathematics education, especially in the integration of technology with innovative learning models to encourage students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tingkat kecemasan matematis yang dipengaruhi oleh self efficacy. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh self efficacy terhadap kecemasan matematis pada pembelajaran matematika yang dilakukan di SMA Plus Tebar Ilmu. Sampel dipilih secara acak, diperoleh kelas X-A di SMA Plus Tebar Ilmu sebanyak 24 siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif korelasional. Pengumpulan data penelitian yaitu dengan instrumen non tes. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa kuesioner self efficacy dan kecemasan matematis yang terdiri dari pernyataan positif dan negatif. Data dianalisis dengan uji regresi korelasi. Hasil dari analisis data memperlihatkan bahwa self efficacy berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kecemasan matematis, yang mana persamaan regresinya adalah Y=38,733-0,384X yang menunjukkan pengaruh yang berbanding terbalik, serta tingkat kekuatan tergolong dalam interpretasi cukup kuat yaitu koefisien korelasi pearsonnya sebesar 0,501. Maka dari itu, berdasarkan penelitian ini guru perlu menyusun pembelajaran matematika yang sesuai agar tingkat Self efficacy dapat meningkat dan sebaliknya tingkat kecemasan matematisnya berkurang.
