Abstract

The character value of caring for the environment in the world of education aims to make students have the knowledge and awareness that each individual has a role with the surrounding environment and can create change. This study aims to find out how to instill the character values of caring for the environment and responsibility in SD Inpres Tamalanrea 3 Makassar students. This research method uses descriptive research with a qualitative observational approach. The results of the study showed that by making direct observations about teachers instilling environmental care character education in class, in addition to direct observations, researchers also conducted interviews with teachers about teachers implementing environmental care character education values in class III SD Inpres Tamalanrea 3 Makassar.

Abstract

The research method used in this article is a qualitative research method, which means the author only uses journal theory as a reference in writing this article. The purpose of this study was to find out how the influence of the digital era on the formation of children's character in elementary schools. Based on the research results, the authors found that in this digital era it greatly influences the formation of children's character which has a negative impact, especially on elementary school children because it makes the child addicted to playing gadgets and accessing the internet so that he spends his time just playing gadgets. This causes the insufficiency in carrying out other activities such as learning and playing with peers and also has an impact on children's growth and development and visual impairment.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of Islamic cultural history learning using discovery learning strategies. The form and type of this research is field research using descriptive qualitative methods. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The data sources are in the form of primary data and secondary data. The primary data are religious teachers who have used discovery learning strategies in learning the history of Islamic culture, while the secondary data are the Principals and Administration of MAM Lakitan. The data analysis technique that the writer uses is data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. Learning the history of Islamic culture using the Discovery Learning Strategy Religion teachers are required to design an implementation plan before teaching by the Principal, the implementation of learning can bring maximum results, but Religion teachers experience problems in implementing learning so Religion teachers must try to overcome the obstacles encountered in learning cultural history Islam by using the Discovery Learning Strategy in class X IPS at MAM Lakitan

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the influence of online games on students' vocabulary in elementary schools. This research method uses a qualitative approach method. The target in this study were three elementary school children who played online games. The data collection technique used in this study was observation (observation) for two days and interviews. Based on the results of interviews and observations that the researchers conducted on three elementary school-age children who used online games, the researchers found positive and negative effects. These positive influences include children who understand technology, children understand how to access and download online games and also understand vocabulary in foreign languages. As for the negative influence of online games on children in elementary schools, the characters who are free and uncontrolled when playing games are carried over to the real world.

Abstract

This article uses a qualitative research method, which means the author only uses the theory of journals or books as references in the sources or references used in writing articles. The aim of qualitative research is to build knowledge through understanding based on complex pictures, detailed reports and scrutinizing words and their theoretical foundations focus on factual research. This bullying is selected and given to elementary school students which aims as a preventive measure to prevent bullying in the school environment. Because school is a place of learning where students should have a comfortable, safe and quiet place to study, not learning that is filled with anxiety, fear and insecurity because of bullying by their friends. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that prevention of bullying (1). Participate in enforcing school rules related to bullying, (2). Support each other against bullies (3). Report to the teacher or homeroom teacher regarding acts of bullying, (4). Dare to tell parents, (5). Seek support from other friends, (6). Don't reply to people who bully, (7). Help and defend friends who are victims

Abstract

The rapid development of the digital era makes everything in the form of information on the internet easily accessible to everyone, including elementary school-age children. The unstoppable flow of the digital era requires appropriate action to minimize moral deviations that occur in many adults. this, one of which is the application of character education. The purpose of writing this scientific paper is to find out the implementation of character education values ​​in overcoming moral degradation in elementary school-age children in the digital era. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method. Qualitative research methods aim to explain a phenomenon in depth and by collecting data as deeply as possible, which means the author only uses books or journals as a reference basis. Based on the literature review and the results of the analysis in this study, it can be concluded that the values ​​of character education play an important role in overcoming moral degradation among elementary school-age children. If the application of character education in elementary schools from planning, implementing, to reflecting on learning goes well, it will be a measure of success in moral formation in elementary school-age children.
