Abstract

Untuk menjadikan seorang siswa/siswi ber akhlakul karimah kita harus menanamkan di dalam diri mereka Al-Qur’an adalah sebagai pedoman hidup, menghafal Al-Qur’an menjadi salah satu kita untuk mendapatkan hadiah yang terbaik dari Allah di surga kelak, untuk menghafal Al-Qur’an diharapkan untuk bisa dan terbiasa dengan ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an dan tidak merasakan bosan agar bisa menjadi seorang penghafal, untuk metode penelitian kali ini berfokus kepada penelitian kualitatif dengan observasi lapangan, dalam sekolah SMP Mujahidin Surabaya murid harus menghafal minimal 2 atau 3 juz untuk syarat kelulusan, di sana juga jika sudah mencapai target maka akan mendapatkan sebuah reward yang akan disampaikan ke orangtua murid, metode wafa adalah satu satunya metode yang mereka gunakan untuk menggerakkan siswa agar bisa menghafal menggunakan stimulasi otak kanannya. Selain menggunakan metode pembelajaran yang mengasyikkan SMP Mujahidin Surabaya menyajikan reward untuk anak didiknya yang bisa mencapai target hafalan.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of parents in shaping children's religious character in the digital era. As technology advances, parents are expected to serve as primary educators who provide role models and instill moral values in their children. The rapid development of digital technology presents challenges, such as exposure to content that contradicts religious values and reduced direct interaction between parents and children. Therefore, active parental involvement is crucial to ensuring that children develop a strong religious character. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method, with data collected through interviews and observations. The findings indicate that good parenting, motivation, and the habitual practice of religious values in daily life significantly influence children's character development. Children who receive intensive guidance from their parents tend to have a better understanding and practice of religious values than those who receive less attention. However, challenges such as parental busyness and limited time for direct religious education hinder this process. A lack of parental attention can obstruct the internalization of religious values. Thus, parents must recognize their responsibility in shaping their children's character and make efforts to remain actively involved in their education. With proper guidance, children can grow into individuals who are not only intellectually capable but also exhibit commendable morals and ethical behavior.

Abstract

Islamic religious education teachers have a responsibility to disseminate a true understanding of the faith, which does not compromise on the values of diversity and nationality. This is necessary to avoid radical teachings that can create tension between Muslims and other religious groups, as well as acts of violence carried out in the name of religion. Problem formulation How Islamic Religious Education teachers understand the issue of radicalism among students, What are the strategies of Islamic Religious Education teachers in preventing radicalism, What is the effectiveness of the strategies used by Islamic Religious Education teachers in preventing and overcoming radicalism among students, What are the supporting and inhibiting factors of Islamic Religious Education teachers in preventing radicalism, The research aims to illustrate about, Teacher Strategies Islamic Religious Education in preventing students' understanding of radicalism with a qualitative method approach. Strategies used by Islamic Religious Education teachers in preventing radicalism values include, providing education to students about radicalism and its dangers, habituation through religious activities, getting used to empathizing with others, instilling love for religion and the homeland, and strengthening tasamuh and tarahum attitudes. The impact of the implementation of Islamic Religious Education teachers' strategies in preventing radicalism values in students includes, students' insight into radicalism increases, students' character education becomes stronger, the formation of empathy and social awareness, and the attitude of tasamuh and tarahum among students increases.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the implementation and realization of contextual learning strategies at PKPPS Subulussalam Ploso Surabaya and their influence on the quality of students' level of understanding in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach method by means of observation, direct interviews with educational experts and students, and documentation of research results. The results of the study indicate that, implicitly, the PAI learning process at PKPPS Subulussalam has implemented the principles of contextual learning. This strategy involves direct experience and role models by teachers, who are able to link teaching materials to real-life situations. This can improve students' understanding, especially in the internalization of Islamic values. The pesantren-based learning process that emphasizes real practice and role models also plays an important role in the success of this strategy. The research findings confirm that contextual learning has great potential to improve the effectiveness of Islamic religious education, especially in a multicultural environment. By combining learning materials with experience, learning becomes more relevant and meaningful. Therefore, this strategy can be used as an alternative learning model that supports improving the quality of understanding of Islamic values in the modern era.

Abstract

Students lack understanding of the values of diversity and equality in the classroom, especially in a multicultural country like Indonesia. This research aims to analyse the impact faced by SMA Muhammadiyah 10 Surabaya students, especially in class XII MIA Putri. In multicultural Islamic education, applying equity pedagogy is very important to foster mutual respect between people, understand differences, and build harmonious social integration. The research method used is qualitative with the type of field study, where data is obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that applying equity pedagogy significantly improved students' understanding of equality values. Students show a tolerant attitude, as evidenced by social interactions in the school environment. However, challenges such as limited teacher competence in integrating multicultural values into learning and specific cultural resistance. Thus, continuous teacher training and institutional support are needed to ensure the sustainability of equity pedagogy implementation in creating an inclusive and equitable educational environment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the integration of Pancasila Student Profile values and religious moderation in multicultural education at SMA Muhammadiyah 10 Surabaya. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with the Semi-Structured Interview method, where data is collected through in-depth interviews with 3 groups. Among them are the vice principal who is also the main figure in implementing religious moderation, students as representatives of various religions, and school staff as well as direct observation of educational activities at school. The purpose of this study is to analyze the integration of Pancasila student profiles with religious moderation in multicultural education. The results of the study show that the integration of both in multicultural education is an effort to synchronize in the implementation of inclusive learning. Teachers' understanding of the concept of religious moderation is an important point in creating a tolerant environment. Through learning, extracurricular activities and daily school life, teachers convey knowledge transfer that is closely related to multicultural education. In addition, the implementation of broad-based education with derivatives emphasizes accepting students from all walks of life, every child has the right to succeed, and education adjusts to students' passions are the main factors in running education at SMA Muhammadiyah 10 Surabaya. It is concluded that multicultural education is an important concept and must be understood and mastered by teachers so that it can make students have a high enthusiasm for learning without looking at differences in conditions and backgrounds.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpouse of this journal is to examine the learning of higher order thinking skills. Finding out whether there are differences in perceptions regarding higher order thinking skills in terms of areas of study, teaching experience, geographical areas and school locations. It also reviews the constraints of a lack of knowledge from edycators, who lack of knowledge from educators. Who lack undertanding of strategies, lack of materials and references for teaching that are inadequate and also the setting of an environment that is not ppropriate for instilling higher order thinking skills learning. Teachers often face a certain level of difficulty in facilitating students to achieve certain competencies. The factors that cause difficulties can be from the teacher, facilities, and students. Often a variety of strategies develop by others cannot be used by teachers in overcoming problems in their classrooms. Abstract

AbstrakDi dalam keseluruhan proses pendidikan di sekolah, pembelajaran merupakan aktifitas yang paling utama untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan. Salahsatu komponen yang memberikan peran besar adalah penggunaan dan penguasaanmetode pembelajaran yang tepat. Metode yang sering digunakan dalampembelajaran khususnya pembelajaran Al-Islam pada materi Thaharah di kelasVII SMP Muhammadiyah 10 Surabaya adalah metode resitasi. Metode inidiyakini sangat efektif digunakan dalam proses belajar mengajar yang bisameningkatkan pemahaman siswa. Metodepenelitian yangdigunakanadalahpenelitianlapanganyaitupenelitian yang mengungkapkanfaktayang adadilapangandenganobservasi dan wawancarasertamenggunakan datakeperpustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran Al-Islammenggunakan metode resitasi pada materi thaharah di kelas VII SMPMuhammadiyah 10 Surabaya adalah sebagai berikut:Proses pembelajaran AlIslammenggunakan metode resitasi pada materi thaharah di kelas VII SMPMuhammadiyah 10 Surabaya terbagi menjadi tiga tahapan yaitu kegiatan awalatau pendahuluan, kegiatan inti, dan kegiatan penutup. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Al-Kahfi Time program in forming the habit of reading Surah Al-Kahfi every Friday among students of the Faculty of Islamic Religion, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surabaya (UMSurabaya). This research approach uses a qualitative method with a case study design. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews with Jam'iyyatul Qurra' Wal Huffadz administrators, direct observation of activities, and document analysis related to program implementation at the UMSurabaya Mosque. The results showed that the Al-Kahfi Time program contributed positively to increasing students' spiritual awareness and habituation to reading Surah Al-Kahf consistently. Increased understanding of the importance of the Prophet's sunnah can be seen from the consistency of program participants, which is supported by a conducive community environment and technology-based reminders. However, challenges such as academic schedule conflicts, lack of student participation from the Muhammadiyah Student Association, and limited variety of implementation strategies remain. The program has only been running for one year so further development is needed. The researcher concludes that these results demonstrate the effectiveness of the program in shaping students' positive habits, with recommendations to expand participation and make optimal use of digital technology. This research contributes to the development of a community-based program that integrates spiritual values in life.
