Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of parents in shaping children's religious character in the digital era. As technology advances, parents are expected to serve as primary educators who provide role models and instill moral values in their children. The rapid development of digital technology presents challenges, such as exposure to content that contradicts religious values and reduced direct interaction between parents and children. Therefore, active parental involvement is crucial to ensuring that children develop a strong religious character. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method, with data collected through interviews and observations. The findings indicate that good parenting, motivation, and the habitual practice of religious values in daily life significantly influence children's character development. Children who receive intensive guidance from their parents tend to have a better understanding and practice of religious values than those who receive less attention. However, challenges such as parental busyness and limited time for direct religious education hinder this process. A lack of parental attention can obstruct the internalization of religious values. Thus, parents must recognize their responsibility in shaping their children's character and make efforts to remain actively involved in their education. With proper guidance, children can grow into individuals who are not only intellectually capable but also exhibit commendable morals and ethical behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the integration of Pancasila Student Profile values and religious moderation in multicultural education at SMA Muhammadiyah 10 Surabaya. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with the Semi-Structured Interview method, where data is collected through in-depth interviews with 3 groups. Among them are the vice principal who is also the main figure in implementing religious moderation, students as representatives of various religions, and school staff as well as direct observation of educational activities at school. The purpose of this study is to analyze the integration of Pancasila student profiles with religious moderation in multicultural education. The results of the study show that the integration of both in multicultural education is an effort to synchronize in the implementation of inclusive learning. Teachers' understanding of the concept of religious moderation is an important point in creating a tolerant environment. Through learning, extracurricular activities and daily school life, teachers convey knowledge transfer that is closely related to multicultural education. In addition, the implementation of broad-based education with derivatives emphasizes accepting students from all walks of life, every child has the right to succeed, and education adjusts to students' passions are the main factors in running education at SMA Muhammadiyah 10 Surabaya. It is concluded that multicultural education is an important concept and must be understood and mastered by teachers so that it can make students have a high enthusiasm for learning without looking at differences in conditions and backgrounds.

Abstract

Umat islam mengalami puncak keemasan pada masa pemerintahan Abbasiyah. Pada masa itu bermunculan para pemikir islam kenamaan yang sampai sekarang pemikirannya masih diperbincangkan dan dijadikan dasar pijakan bagi pemikiran di masa mendatang baik dalam bidang keagamaan maupun umum. Kemajuan Islam ini tercipta berkat usaha dari berbagai komponen masyarakat, baik ilmuwan, birokrat, agamawan, militer, dan ekonom maupun masyarakat umum. Namun dalam halini, penulis lebih menitik beratkan pada pembahasan keadaan pendidikan di Turki pada masa itu. Mengingat pendidikan sebagai dimensi dinamis dalam perkembangan suatu bangsa. Pada masa Usmani, dibalik kejayaan ekspansinya telah terjadi kelesuan intelektual yang accut. Lebih menarik lagi, karena pada periode akhir Usmani, Eropa saat itu justru mengalami Aufklarung danrenaissance dengan segala dimensinya yang berpengaruh secara mondial.

Abstract

Penting bagi seorang guru untuk mentaati kode etik agar dapat menjaga profesionalitasnya. Banyak tokoh pendidikan yang mengemukakan pendapatnya tentang kode etik guru, diantaranya adalah Rahmah EL Yunusiyyah dan Imam Al Ghazali. Rahmah dan Al Ghazali memiliki pandangan yang berbeda tentang kode etik guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengomparasikan dan menganalisis kode etik guru Pendidikan Agama Islam perspektif Rahmah dan Al Ghazali. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan kajian pustaka. Hasil komparasi kode etik guru PAI perspektif Rahmah dan Al Ghazali yang pertama, sikap sabar; kedua, perilaku guru; ketiga; kepemimpinan guru; keempat, akhlak yang harus dimiliki guru; kelima, perhatian guru terhadap siswa; keenam, memiliki nilai taqwa kepada Allah Swt. Kesimpulannya adalah penulis menjumpai banyak kesamaan antara pandangan Rahmah dan Al Ghazali. Secara umum prespektif keduanya memiliki kemiripan. Akan tetapi keduanya memiliki rincian yang berbeda.
