Abstract

Urbancut Barbershop is a barbershop located in Semarang. The barbershop business has grown a lot in Semarang, especially in Pleburan, making the competition tighter and causes decline in the number of customers in certain months. In order to overcome this, Urbancut Barbershop has to fulfill customer’s expectation. This research explains about Quality Function Deployment (QFD) implementation and aims to calibrate customer’s expectation and company technique requirement so that Urbancut Barbershop’s operational can match consumer’s expetation.Data in this research is taken through questionnaire surveys for the Manager of Urbancut Barbershop and 50 of their consumers as respondents based on purposive sampling method. this study uses  Quality Function Deployment (QFD) to analyze data.The research shows that priority order based on absolute weight of customer’s order that has to be prioritized in increasing the company’s operational power. The research also shows priority order based on absolute weight and technique requirement of relative weight in terms of fixing and increasing service quality of Urbancut Barbershop.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of bank size, loan to deposit ratio (LDR), bank inefficiency, credit growth, and capital adequacy ratio (CAR) to credit risk that measured by non performing loan (NPL). Case study on conventional commercial banks listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2010-2014. The number of sample used in this research were 30 banks. The data used were obtained from financial statements and banking annual report published by Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2010-2014. The analytical method used in this research is Multiple Linear Regression Analysis where previously performed classical assumption that includes Normality Test, Multicollinearity Test, Autocorrelation Test, and Heteroskedastisitas Test. Based on the results of tests performed, bank size, loan to deposit ratio (LDR), bank efficiency, credit growth, and capital adequacy ratio (CAR) have significant effect on non-performing loans (NPL). Bank size, loan to deposit ratio (LDR), bank inefficiency, and credit growth have positive impact on non-performing loans (NPL). While capital adequacy ratio (CAR) have negative but not significant impact on non-performing loans (NPL). Based on the coefficient determination R2, variable bank size, loan to deposit ratio (LDR), bank inefficiency, credit growth, and capital adequacy ratio (CAR) have 44.2% effect against non-performing loans (NPL). While the remaining 55.8% is influenced by other variables that are not used in this study.An increase in non-performing loans can lead a bank to experience bankruptcy so disrupting economic activity. With the result that mentioned above means the control of the bank internal factors will affect the level of non-performing loans. The results of this study are expected to help banks manage internal factors mainly as bank size, LDR, bank inefficiency, and credit growth must be monitored continuously when increased so as to prevent any non-performing loans.

Abstract

Raja Asih Home Industry is one of the SMEs engaged in cakes and bakery in Cirebon regency. In the future, the bakery market will increase, so there will be a lot of business in the field of cakes and bakery, making the competition increasingly tight. One way to win the competition is by continuously improving the quality of the product to suit the consumer's wishes. This study discusses the application of Quality Function Deployment method, which aims to ensure that the products produced can meet the level of quality desired by consumers. Application of QFD method in improving product quality using House of Quality matrix (HoQ).The data in this study was collected by survey method using structured and situational interviews as well as questionnaires on 50 respondents. The method used is Quality Function Deployment Method (QFD).The result of this research is that there are 6 factors from bakery product that is considered very important by consumers, they are: texture, color of maturity, shape and size, bread quality, nutritional composition information and expiration time and company reputation. Based on the calculation of technical interest, which need to be prioritized in the improvement by the company are: selection of raw materials, cleaning equipment, machine maintenance and selection of jam.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a comprehensive integrated model which helps in explaining the impact of value chain integration’s (VCI)’s and relational capability impact on co-innovation in a network and competitive advantage. It also explores the role of value network-based co-innovation as a mediator in the relationship between supply chain integration and competitive advantage, and in the relationship between relational capabilities and competitive advantage of a housing bank sector. The study suggests that firm gains competitive advantage by utilizing value chain integration and relational capability. It is argued here that co-innovation based on value network has mediating role to create competitive advantage. The paper provides a discussion and implication on where value lies and how value is co-created in network of interdependent relationship and illustrate this by sketching a value map in network relationship and possible innovations that can be co-created in housing bank ecosystem. The study involved a single government owned bank located in different cities, therefore the results should be generalized cautiously. This paper constitutes an attempt to stimulate efforts and provide directions on the further conceptual development of value network-based co-innovation (VNBC). The newly developed measure of VNBC and CA exempt from past conceptual streams of the determinant of CA, could be used for valid measurements in future empirical studies in the field of strategic management. The paper provides a practical implications for managers to identify value and utilize new way of analyzing value-chain to create co-innovation within housing bank ecosystem. It also allows manager to practicing relational capability which gives the most impact to competitive advantage..

Abstract

The rapid technology development makes people to continue innovating in facilitating work. Companies are competing to improve their systems in marketing products to consumers to get maximum incomes by creating a practical systems for consumers to access information about their products, one of them is Shopee Indonesia through their products application or can be called branded apps. Shopee Indonesia app is designed to provide product information and easy access for consumers to buy the products, also facilitate communication between consumers and producers. Researcher aimed people who live in Java, have Shopee Indonesia application in their smartphone, and once purchased from the app to be this research’s sample. The number of samples used in this study are 101 respondents. The method of collecting data through questionnaire and the method of collecting samples is by non probability sampling technique. This study uses Multiple Linear Regression analysis technique estimated by SPSS 20.0. The results of this study indicate that brand attachment, brand identification, and perceived value have a positive and significant effect on continuance intention to use branded apps.

Abstract

The aim of doing this study is to analyze how the implementation of quality control at PT. Golden Flower Ungaran in an effort to control the level of product damage. The data was collected by interviewing, observing, and documenting, followed by processing it using the Statistical Quality Control method. includes filling in the examination sheet, making histograms, making Pareto diagrams, making and calculating control charts, making causal diagrams. The results of this study indicate that the types of damage that occur in garment production are caused by Broken stitch, Skipped stitches, Obras oblique / untidy, Ironing and Dirty. From the cause-and-effect diagram, it can be seen that the factors that cause product damage are derived from material factors, machines, methods and employees. The use of the p control chart shows that the product quality control process is still outside the control limit because there are still four points that are outside the upper control limit and the lower control limit, thus indicating that the quality control process has not been carried out properly.

Abstract

Competitiveness in the field of production and service is very visible with many companies flocking to create a product with new innovations so as to produce effective and efficient products by paying attention to the company's supply chain flow. Roti-Qu in Batang is one of the companies in the form of a CV business entity that produces bread which has produced 50 branches spread over 400 employees, this company is well aware of supply chain management. This study uses a qualitative approach, with data collection through field observations, interviews and documentation. With regard to research on supply chain management, this research was conducted on the object of a bakery, namely Roti-Qu in Batang Regency, precisely in Sambong Village with the research subject being the owner of Roti-Qu, the Procurement Section / Warehouse of Roti-Qu and the Production Division of Roti-Qu. In the application of supply chain management, it was found that the relationship with the supplier had a positive and significant influence on the material flow because the owner and the warehouse department were able to solve the problems that occurred. Relationships with customers are considered to have a positive effect on material flow. Sharing information looks very risky on any information obtained by each division. However, it was found that information sharing had a positive effect on material flow because, according to a statement from the warehouse and production, Roti-Qu solved the problem by reconfirming the material orders needed by the warehouse, production and even branches. Communicate all problems in detail. With the smooth flow of materials influenced by supplier relationships, customer relations and information sharing have a positive impact on business performance at Roti-Qu. Business performance is seen from financial and non-financial perspectives. The results showed that it had a positive effect on job satisfaction. However, for financial business performance, fluctuating sales were found due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The policy implication in this research is that the procurement department handles the supply chain quite well but still requires trust in overcoming recurring problems, business people must make the latest innovations to develop the company, make good use of marketing media, place warehouses closer to areas full of branches. Roti-Qu, job satisfaction is quite good but still requires openness. Abstract

Increased digitization and automation in the construction industry can trigger the emergence of a disruptive innovation phenomenon. Incumbent companies that previously dominated the market may collapse if they are unaware of the disruption phenomenon. Although technology is a key factor in development and innovation, accurate business strategy is needed to manage disruptive innovation so that it can become a new advantage for the company. This study aims to classify PT Pembangunan Perumahan Tbk’s disruptive innovation implementation strategy into ideation, incubation, and scaling, and its impact to the company's innovation performance. This study used qualitative research method with case study approach. Data was collected using in-depth interviews with senior manager and senior officer from the Strategic Planning, Research and Technology Division of PTPP and documentation analysis. The result of the research shows that PTPP performs ideation, incubation, and scaling, and able to balance exploration and exploitation in implementing disruptive innovation. The increase in innovation performance based on financial metrics is analyzed from the increase in revenue and profitability. Meanwhile, based on non-financial metrics, innovation performance is measured based on the significance of added value provided by innovation, life cycle improvement, learning organization improvement, and response to dynamic markets. Abstract

Penelitian ini mengambil objek pada Bisnis fotografi di Kota Semarang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui modal intelektual, hubungan pelanggan dan inovasi produk terhadap kinerja dengan keunggulan bersaing sebagai pemediasi. Responden pada penelitin ini yaitu 50 usaha fotografi di Kota Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan Partial Least Square (PLS) dengan program computer SMART PLS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa keunggulan bersaing memiliki pengaruh yang tidak signifikan sebagai pemediasi antara modal intelektual terhadap kinerja. Namun keunggulan bersaing menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan sebagai pemediasi antara hubungan pelanggan dan inovasi produk terhadap kinerja. Penelitian ini juga menganalisis bagaimana pengaruh hubungan antara variable laten yang diteliti. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa keunggulan bersaing tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja bisnis, modal intelektual berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keunggulan bersaing dan kinerja bisnis, hubungan pelanggan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keunggulan bersaing dan kinerja bisnis dan inovasi produk berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keunggulan bersaing dan kinerja bisnis.

Abstract

Peningkatan mutu suatu lembaga sangatlah penting untuk keberlangsungan sistem manajemen yang berada di dalam suatu lembaga tersebut. Lembaga pendidikan juga memperhatikan dalam peningkatan kualitas mutu sekolah melalui implementasi manajemen ISO 9001: 2008. Maka dari itu rumusan masalah dari penelitian ini adalah apakah implementasi kebijakan manajemen ISO 9001:2008 terhadap manajemn mutu di SMA Kota Surakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak ISO dalam pengelolaan mutu pada faktor kebijakan sekolah, Sumber Daya Manusia, Gaya kepemimpinan dan dampak ISO itu sendiri terhadap perkembangan mutu manajemen sekolah. Berdasarkan metode, Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Berdasarkan tujuan, penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan metode gabungan yaitu; wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dampak implementasi kebijakan sistem manajemen mutu ISO 9001:2008 yang di gabungkan dengan manejemen berbasis sekolah terdapat peningkatan mutu di SMA MTA Surakarta. Peningkatan tersebut berdampak pada manajemen mutu sekolah, yaitu; 1) administrasi, 2) sarana dan prasarana, 3) SDM Pengajar dan tenaga kependidikan. Karena adanya sistem manajemen berbasis sekolah yang memberikan otoritas terhadap sekolah untuk membuat kebijakan secara mandiri tapi juga berpedoman pada kebijakan dari Kemendikbud. Karena adanya implementasi ISO 9001:2008 juga memberikan sebuah branding terhadap sekolah serta berdampak pada standarisasi dalam akreditasi sekolah.
