In the digital era, preserving old documents to prevent damage is a significant challenge. One solution to this problem is to reconstruct damaged or lost documents using image processing and natural language processing technologies. This article discusses the design of a tool for correcting and reconstructing writing in old papers and documents that can be implemented on a mini PC. The tool uses state-of-the-art algorithms such as Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) for character recognition and Optical Character Recognition (OCR), as well as Image Inpainting and Sequence-to-Sequence (Seq2Seq) algorithms for document reconstruction. Test results show that this tool can recognize characters with high accuracy and reconstruct damaged or lost documents effectively.

Motorcycles are a means of transportation that many people choose for daily transportation. This is because motorbikes are more effective and efficient than cars. However, the rate of loss of motorbikes continues to increase, especially for motorbikes that are rented out. By designing a system that can provide comfort to vehicle renters and increase security in opening a motorbike rental business. Therefore, a system is designed that can monitor the position of motorbikes that can be monitored through an Android application. The motorcycle will be installed with a tracking system using the GPS module, RTC module and nodemcu microcontroller. The GPS module functions to determine the coordinates of the motorbike's whereabouts and is displayed on an Android-based application and the RTC module is used for scheduling notification delivery in the form of messages to tenants when the rental time is up. The results of this study are that the android application can track the position of the motorbike and make it easier for motorbike rental business owners to work.

The problem that occurs in Sanjai Tourism Village is inadequate internet access. Internet access is fundamental nowadays, both in daily activities and in the context of promotional activities for Tourism Villages to attract visitors. One of the aspects of assessing the Indonesian Tourism Village Award is digital creativity. To make this happen, it is necessary to have internet access that everyone can enjoy, including the community, visitors, and the Tourism Village group (Pokdarwis) in the Sanjai Tourism Village. Therefore, in Community Service activities, a Wi-Fi Coin system was designed to improve internet access in the Sanjai Tourism Village. The Wi-Fi Coin System uses coins to access the internet. In addition, the Wi-Fi Coin system can be portable for use in the desired location. The method used consists of three stages: preparation consisting of a survey and needs analysis to obtain data on community needs, especially the Sanjai Tourism Village Pokdarwis. The implementation consists of system design, testing, and implementation. System design and testing were carried out at the Unand Computer Engineering Department. Meanwhile, the implementation was done directly before the Pokdarwis team and the Village Community. Trials and equipment handover to the Sanjai Tourism Village Pokdarwis marked the activity results.

The use of technology is fundamental in the digital era. Adjustment and transformation are essential activities to keep up with technological developments. One of the uses of technology is product marketing and promotion. Sanjai Tourism Village, located in Bukittinggi City, is one of the villages where marketing and promotion of tourism products are still carried out using conventional promotional methods such as through newspapers, radio advertisements, posters, and distribution of brochures. This method is still limited and cannot reach a broader scope. Therefore, to compete in the digital era, there needs to be a transformation of promotion and marketing of tourism products through the internet media using a website. Information about promoting and marketing tourism products can be done digitally and online using a website. The results of advertising and marketing tourism village products by utilizing the website can be spread and known to the public with a broader reach. Therefore, in the community service activities of the Unand Computer Engineering Department, the Sanjai Tourism Village website was built with a method consisting of several stages, such as coordination, surveys, design, website implementation, improvement, and submission of the website to Sanjai Tourism Village. Each stage has been carried out, and a website has been produced with features such as a homepage, profile, tourism products of various fields, news and activities, and contacts.

Pet songbirds require consistent care, but prolonged owner absence often leads to irregular feeding and poor sanitation. Existing IoT-based bird care systems remain fragmented, focusing primarily on single aspects like feeding, while sanitation mechanisms are often mechanically complex or ignored. This study proposes an integrated IoT autonomous bird cage that uniquely combines feeding, watering, and a simplified stepper-motor-driven brush-and-spray cleaning mechanism into a single framework. Controlled by an Arduino Uno R4 WiFi and an RTC module for precise offline scheduling, the system utilizes a robust capacitive sensor for water monitoring to overcome the unreliability of standard acoustic sensors in confined micro-climates. Experimental testing demonstrated sub-centimeter sensor accuracy and a 0% failure rate for automated water refilling, outperforming the 20% failure rate observed in the ultrasonic feed sensor. Furthermore, the novel cleaning subsystem achieved a 94% quantitative waste removal efficiency. These results confirm the proposed architecture is a reliable, comprehensive solution that significantly reduces manual intervention in smart pet management.

Color vision deficiency (CVD) affects approximately 8% of males and 0.5% of females globally, causing difficulties in distinguishing certain colors in daily activities. This condition often leads to social misunderstandings and psychological impacts, including embarrassment when identifying colors incorrectly. This research aims to design and implement a portable wearable system capable of automatically detecting and identifying colors to assist CVD individuals. The system utilizes computer vision technology with HSV (Hue, Saturation, Value) color space analysis combined with adaptive CLAHE (Contrast Limited Adaptive Histogram Equalization) and gamma correction preprocessing, implemented on a Raspberry Pi 4 Model B integrated into a jacket. A JETE W7 USB webcam captures images, and color detection results are conveyed through pre-recorded audio feedback via earphones. The system employs a 4-stage multi-stage detection algorithm with weighted scoring to handle HSV range overlapping among 12 target colors. Testing was conducted using color palettes and real-world objects under three lighting conditions: bright (1000-1100 lux), normal (90-100 lux), and dim (33-35 lux). Results demonstrate that the system achieved an overall accuracy of 86.39%, with 91.11% accuracy on color palettes and 81.67% on real objects. The system operates stably on Raspberry Pi 4 with average CPU usage of 35.7% and maintains thermal stability at 43.2°C. User testing with color-blind participants confirmed that the system effectively assists in color identification and increases user confidence in social situations.
