Abstract

With the Covid-19 pandemic that has hit Indonesia since March 2020, people tend to choose to stay at home and take advantage of online services, one of which is a startup company called Grab. This product is welcomed by customers in various circles, price, service quality and promotion, including in the marketing strategy, have a very important role in influencing customer satisfaction. Customer loyalty will have a big impact on the company. Therefore it is necessary to carry out an analysis for online transportation service companies to find out the services provided in an effort to increase consumer loyalty. According to the 2020 BPS publication, Lamongan Regency is one of the districts in East Java which has a population of more than 1.5 million people. The large number of residents in an area opens more profit opportunities for companies, especially online services. So a research on binary logistic regression analysis was conducted to determine the satisfaction of Grab customers in Lamongan Regency with the predictor variables used, namely Price, Service Quality and Promotion. Based on the analysis, the variables that have a significant effect on customer satisfaction are Price and Customer Quality. Where the cheap price provided by Grab will affect customer satisfaction 1.475 times greater than the expensive price, and good service quality will affect customer satisfaction 1.450 times greater than poor service, with classification accuracy of 92%.

Abstract

Mahasiswa Tadris IPA sudah mempelajari konsep pengetahuan lingkungan, namun sikap yang merekamunculkan belum memperlihatkan adanya perubahan perilaku seperti yang diharapkan dalam tujuan pembelajaran materi pengetahuan lingkungan. Tujuan pada penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui pengetahuan lingkungan, sikap peduli lingkungan, dan hubungan antara pengetahuan lingkungan dan sikap peduli lingkungan mahasiswa Tadris IPA Institut Agama Islam Negeri Kediri. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif korelasional dengan melakukan analisis hubungan antara pengetahuan lingkungan dan sikap peduli lingkungan mahasiswa Tadris IPA Institut Agama Islam Negeri Kediri. Hasilnya ialah pengetahuan lingkungan pada mahasiswa Tadris IPA Institut Agama Islam Negeri Kediri yaitu 3 orang (5,55%) memiliki pengetahuan lingkungan hidup yang rendah, 16 orang (29,63%) memiliki pengetahuan lingkungan hidup yang cukup, 30 orang (51,85%) memiliki pengetahuan lingkungan hidup yang tinggi, dan 9 orang (12,96%) memiliki pengetahuan lingkungan hidup yang sangat tinggi. Sikap peduli lingkungan mahasiswa Tadris IPA Institut Agama Islam Negeri Kediri yaitu 2 orang (3,70%) telah memiliki sikap peduli lingkungan yang cukup, sebanyak 43 orang (75,93%) telah memiliki sikap peduli lingkungan yang tinggi, dan 13 orang (20,37) memiliki sikap peduli lingkungan hidup yang sangat tinggi. Hubungan antara pengetahuan lingkungan dan sikap peduli lingkungan mahasiswa Tadris IPA Institut Agama Islam Negeri Kediri berdasarkan perhitungan Korelasi Pearson diperoleh 0,010 < 0,05, sehingga ada hubungan pengetahuan lingkungan dan sikap peduli lingkungan mahasiswa Tadris IPA Institut Agama Islam Negeri Kediri.

Abstract

Model Generalized AMMI (GAMMI) merupakan perluasan dari model AMMI (Additive Main Effect and Multiplicative Interaction). Model GAMMI melibatkan konsep Generalized Linear Model (GLM) pada variabel responnya. Pada penelitian ini, model GAMMI digunakan untuk data interaksi antara genotipe dan lingkungan yang mempunyai distribusi poisson. Sama halnya dengan model AMMI, model GAMMI juga digunakan untuk menganalisis kestabilan genotipe pada lingkungan yang beragam dengan pengaruh utama perlakuan dimodelkan dengan model aditif sedangkan pengaruh interaksi dimodelkan dengan model multiplikatif (bilinier). Metode lain yang memiliki kemiripan dengan model GAMMI adalah Row Column Interaction Model (RCIM). Model ini juga dapat digunakan untuk data yang berdistribusi poisson. Kedua model ini akan dibandingkan nilai analisis devian dan biplotnya. Interpretasi kedua model ditunjukkan melalui biplot dengan penguraian Singular Value Decompotition (SVD) pada matriks interaksi. Data yang digunakan untuk membandingkan kedua metode tersebut adalah data hama kedelai yang berisi empat genotipe dan lima jenis hama kedelai. Penelitian ini lebih ditekankan pada perbandingan hasil pemodelan dengan cara yang berbeda. Kedua metode menunjukan nilai peluang yang hampir sama yaitu untuk model GAMMI dengan regresi bolak-balik sebesar 0,0541, sedangkan model RCIM sebesar 0,0548. Keduanya sama-sama signifikan pada model GAMMI2 karena nilai peluang <0,06.   Generalized AMMI (GAMMI) model is a development of the AMMI (Additive Main Effect and Multiplicative Interaction) model. Model GAMMI involves the concept of Generalized Linear Model (GLM) on the response variable. In this research, GAMMI model used for interaction of genotype and environment data that have poisson distribution. Similar to the AMMI model, GAMMI model also used to analyze the stability of the genotype in any different environment with the main effect of treatment is modeled by additive model, while the effect of the interaction is modeled by multiplicative model (bilinear). Another method which is similar to GAMMI model is Row Column Interaction Model (RCIM). This model also can used for the data that have poisson distribution. These two models will be compared with the analysis value of the deviance and biplot. Interpretation of the model is shown through the biplot with Singular Value Decompotition (SVD) toward interaction matrix. The data used to compare the two methods is soybean pest data which contains four genotypes and five of soybean pests. This research emphasizes on comparing the results of modeling in different ways. The results of the analysis of the two methods show that the probability value is almost the same, for the GAMMI model with alternating regression is 0.0541, while the RCIM model is 0.0548. Both are equally significant in the GAMMI2 model because the probability value is <0.06.

Abstract

The increase in the achievement of the Human Development Index cannot be separated from the improvement of each of its constituent components. Currently, the components of the HDI also show an increase from year to year. To be able to participate in the development process, of course, Indonesian people are needed who are not only superior in terms of quantity, but also superior in terms of quality. HDI is used as a tool to achieve national goals, so that many things are related between humans and the development around them. This is to find out what factors can affect the HDI in East Java so that the provincial government can pay attention to several programs which can later be used to continue to maintain and improve development so that it can become an achievement for the Province of East Java. One of the analyzes that can be used is modeling, one of which is regression analysis. Nonparametric regression is a regression that is flexible in use because it can find its own data pattern. One of the truncated spline approaches to nonparametric regression can be used to predict the Human Development Index (HDI). HDI and several factors that influence it will be estimated at various knot points to get the best model. In the Spline Truncated nonparametric regression modeling which is applied to HDI data in East Java Province in 2021 several knot points are tried, namely 1 knot point, 2 knot point, and 3 knot point. The results obtained showed that the best model was found in the 3 knots experiment with a minimum GCV value of 5.40 and an R2 value of 89.875%.

Abstract

Most nations deal with stunting to some extent, but emerging nations and those in the lower middle class, like Indonesia, have it the worst. Accordingly, the stunting epidemic remains the top priority for the Indonesian government at the present time. Because of its many potential future effects, stunting is a major worry for the government. Determining what variables may impact stunting in Indonesia is one approach to bolstering this initiative. Panel data will be used in this study due to the fact that different provinces in Indonesia exhibit different features on an annual basis. In 2020 and 2022, researchers in 34 of Indonesia's provinces used panel data regression analysis to identify the variables that impact stunting rates. Based on these findings, a model using a fixed effect estimator was determined to be the most effective. The results of the Chow and Hausman tests support this idea, respectively showing that fixed-effect models outperform common-effect models and random-effect models. Both full and partial tests show that the number of stunted children under five in Indonesia is significantly affected by the variables of poverty rate and gross regional product per capita. The panel data regression model using the poverty rate and GDP per capita provides a strong explanation for the prevalence of stunting in children less than five years old, as shown by the model's coefficient of determination of 94.29%.

Abstract

Social media plays a very influential role, especially in the world of politics and elections. The 2024 elections in Indonesia show how social media can influence political dynamics. This research aims to analyze the influence of social media on the political participation of IAIN Kediri students in the 2024 Presidential Election, as well as understand how social media shapes public opinion and polarizes political views, with a focus on its impact on political participation among students. Data from the Indonesian Internet Service Providers Association (APJII) shows that the majority of the Indonesian population actively uses social media, so political candidates use platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok to attract support. Social media accelerates the delivery of political messages and has the potential to strengthen polarization and spread misleading information. In this research, a binary logistic regression model is used to analyze the factors that influence student participation in the 2024 presidential election. The findings show that students who actively follow news in mass media have a 7,157 times greater chance of participating in the 2024 presidential election compared to those who do not follow the news. These results emphasize the importance of social media in motivating political participation among students and provide insight into how social media can be utilized to improve the integrity and quality of democracy.

Abstract

This research aims to develop ethnoscience-based science learning module and science literacy for grade VIII students. This module development uses the Research and Development (R&D) model by adapting the steps of the 4D model, which includes (Define, Design, Develop, Dessimination). In this study, data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The developed module was validated by material experts, media experts, LKPD experts, and readability experts who each provided an assessment of the relevant aspects. The results of validation by material experts, media experts, LKPD experts and readability experts showed 100% feasibility. The results of student responses showed very good results of 88.10%. Students who use this module are better able to connect scientific knowledge with the context of science which is an important indicator in the ability to think critically, analytically, and creatively. The results of this study indicate that ethnoscience and science literacy-based modules are not only effective in improving understanding of material concepts, but also strengthening higher-order thinking skills that are needed in facing the challenges of today.

Abstract

Salah satu cara agar dapat meningkatkan kondisi pendidikan di setiap kabupaten/kota di Jawa Timur adalah dengan menggunakan analisis pengelompokan sesuai dengan karakteristik pendidikannya. Analisis Klaster merupakan analisis yang termasuk ke dalam golongan analisis multivariat yang bertujuan untuk mengelompokkan objek berdasarkan karakteristik yang dimilikinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis klaster tipe agglomerative dengan lima metode. Analisis klaster ini disebut dengan “agglomerative hierarchy clustering”. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah membandingkan metode analisis klaster herarki tersebut dengan mencari model terbaik melalui pencarian nilai koefisien korelasi cophenetic terbesar. Data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini merupakan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Jawa Timur dan Kementerian Pendidikan Republik Indonesia. Pada pengelompokan Kabupaten/Kota di Provinsi Jawa Timur berdasarkan indikator pendidikan dengan menggunakan metode Agglomerative Hierarchical Clustering dihasilkan bahwa algoritma optimal yang digunakan yaitu pada algoritma average linkage dengan nilai korelasi cophenetic yang diperoleh sebesar 0,807. Berdasarkan indikator pendidikan dari 38 Kabupaten/Kota di Provinsi Jawa Timur terbagi menjadi dua cluster dimana pada cluster pertama beranggotakan 3 Kabupaten/Kota dan cluster kedua 35 Kabupaten Kota. Abstract

This research develops the educational game Magnetic Challenge based on Construct 2 as a medium for learning magnetism. Using a qualitative descriptive method, the research focuses on needs analysis, media usage, and user feedback. The results show that this game is effective in helping visualize abstract concepts, increasing learning motivation, and deepening student understanding, although there are constraints regarding accessibility, audio, and flexibility of learning styles. Overall, this media is worth using as an innovative and enjoyable alternative for science learning for junior high school students.
