Abstract

Today, technology is growing very fast and science in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is still the main topic. The entry of the internet era created Industry 4.0 which is currently being developed by scientists to facilitate human life. Required several fields of science needed to develop Industry 4.0, one of which is programming. The problems obtained by high school students after graduating and then entering college in engineering, especially those majoring in Electrical Engineering are they have just come to know programming. This is due to the elimination of ICT subjects at the high school level since the implementation of the 2013 curriculum. Because high school graduates have no provision in engineering, few also want to improve their education in engineering. This PKM activity is a programming training that becomes the knowledge base for developing Industry 4.0. The training was focused on microcontoler programming using Arduino Uno as a learning medium. At the end of the activity, students were given a questionnaire containing five Likert scales to evaluate how effective the training was conducted. The training was attended by thirty nine students of South Tagerang 7 State High School who were in accordance with the grade XI majoring in science and interested in computer assistance. After the training, the results of the questionnaire concluded that participants "Agree" 61.53% and "Strongly Agree" 33.33% that this training increased their insight into Industry 4.0. The "Strongly Agree" Participant was 43.58% and "Agree" 33.33% that he was interested in exploring the Arduino Microcontroller. Participants "Strongly Agree" 43.58% and "Agree" 41.02% that they want additional lessons on the microcontroller at their school

Abstract

The temperature stability of the vaccine needs to be designed in such a way as to maintain its quality. Where vaccines are generally placed in a special refrigerator with an internal temperature of around +20C - +80C. The condition of the electricity network in the Bogor area, which sometimes goes out for a long time can cause electricity to not be supplied for vaccine refrigerators. For a long period of time, this condition can cause damage to the vaccine so that it cannot be given to toddlers. This activity is the application of technology that is very useful for the people of the Bogor, especially for the Sindangbarang Health Center in Bogor related to the design of power reserves, especially for vaccine refrigerators. This power backup system uses various equipment with appropriate technology such as Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS), solar panels, inverters, batteries, solar charge controllers and other supporting equipment. This PKM program has a focus on managing backup power systems in vaccine cabinets using solar power plants

Abstract

In STT-PLN environment each day has the potential to produce 875 kg of waste per day, based on this value it can be used as a waste pellet of 43.5 kg per day. STT-PLN Jakarta Electricity Jakarta launched the Local Waste Management Method (TOSS) with this method, STT-PLN is able to manage its own waste which is expected to be a solution for the utilization of waste into fuel. The machines used are hammer mill and chopper machine with 22 kW of power and operated for 3 hours, worth Rp.193,680.96 per day. Pellet production is used as fuel which can be distributed to PLTSa, Biomass Power Plants and pellet stoves. Based on the results of the calculation of the economic analysis obtained is NVP of IDR 454,007,469.00, IRR 26,855% and PBP 4,84 years, STT-PLN Jakarta Electricity is feasible to be continued.

Abstract

Perencanaan PLTS di Graha YPK PLN dibutuhkan sebagai sistem back-up atau pengganti untuk mengurangi penggunaan listrik konvensional. Sistem On Grid merupakan sistem Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya yang tidak terhubung dengan jaringan listrik  PLN.   Sistem   On Grid   ini   disebut   juga   dengan   sistem   pembantu dikarenakan PLTS masih membutuhkan supply dari PLN dengan menggunakan modul surya sebagai penghasil energi listrik sesuai dengan kebutuhan yang diperlukan. Perencanaan Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya 52 m2 sistem On Grid dengan komponen PLTS berupa 24 modul dipasang dengan panel surya 450 Wp, 1 buah Inverter berkapasitas 15330 Watt, Radiasi matahari untuk tahun 2021 rata-rata yaitu 4,67. Biaya energi PLTS Graha YPK PLN 52 m2  adalah Rp. 1.444,70/kWh dengan impor sebesar 9.240.4 kWh/Bulan dan eksport sebesar 1380,61 kWh/Bulan. Dengan perhitungan ekonomi, total biaya investasi pada perencanaan ini sebesar Rp. 257.105.000 dengan waktu pengembalian investasi selama 16 tahun.

Abstract

As the demand for electricity increases, so does the demand for fossil fuels for power generation, leading to a reduction in the current reserves of fossil fuels, which are also becoming more expensive. By utilizing renewable energy sources, one of which is solar energy, it can be used as an alternative energy source that is environmentally friendly. A grid-connected rooftop solar power plant can reduce the amount of your monthly electricity bill, thereby increasing efficiency. Based on the author's findings on the rooftop PLTS at Graha YPK PLN with a capacity of 10.8 kWp using solar panels with a capacity of 450 Wp as many as 24 panels and one inverter of 15.330 W, there are two factors that cause the results of the energy produced by PLTS to be inconsistent, the first is internal factors for example from solar modules, inverters, and distribution panels. The second is external factors, namely weather, shading and Ambient Air Temperature. The results of the maintenance that has been carried out can be concluded that the maintenance carried out is successful. so that the maintenance activities carried out can be carried out again in the next maintenance. For this reason, this maintenance activity is able to help reduce or overcome problems on the panel such as the panel not working effectively due to the presence of dust attached and even stubborn dirt and so on that cannot be washed away by rainwater

Abstract

The focus of Indonesia's G20 Presidency lies on three main pillars, one of them is transition to sustainable energy. The development of these conditions forced PLN (State Electricity Company in Indonesia) to innovate by participating in implementing the latest digitalization technology in distribution electrical energy to customers, one way to do this is by implementing the smart grid concept, which is digital substation technology, is considered capable to response the challenges of digitizing the electricity system in the energy distribution sector. Digital substation technology in Indonesia is still in development stage and there are only six pilot projects in scattered locations, hence in-depth research is needed regarding equipment requirements and the amount of investment needed by PLN to build digital substations, especially the plan for implementing digital substations in Sulawesi. One of methods for developing digital substations in Indonesia is upgrading conventional into digital substation. Research is conducted by studying and observing the existing digital substation in Indonesia. Afterwards in this paper will be explained how to upgrade and what materials, or equipment that must be equipped to upgrading conventional substations. Then, what is the actual value of the investment needed by PLN to build or upgrading into a digital substation in Indonesia, especially in Sulawesi. Furthermore, whether the upgrading plans can be declared financially feasible.

Abstract

Sparta Guna Sentosa merupakan perusahaan salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang manufaktur. Setiap komponen yang diproduksi pada umumnya melalui proses permesinan. Mesin Miyano 001 merupakan salah satu mesin yang memegang peranan penting dalam aktivitas produksi, maka mesin tersebut harus senantiasa berada dalam kondisi baik dan memiliki efektivitas yang tinggi. Efektivitas mesin dapat diketahui dengan mengukur nilai Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) dari mesin tersebut. Terdapat tiga faktor utama dalam pengukuran OEE, yaitu availability rate, performance rate, dan quality rate. Nilai standar dari ketiga faktor tersebut berturut-turut adalah 90%, 95%, dan 99%. Sedangkan untuk standar global dari nilai OEE adalah 85%. Berdasarkan nilai dari masing-masing faktor tersebut maka diperoleh nilai atau persentase dari OEE. Berdasarkan hasil pengukuran maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa nilai OEE pada mesin Miyano 001 yang paling rendah yaitu terjadi pada bulan November yaitu sebesar 55,82%. Faktor yang sangat berpengaruh terhadap rendahnya nilai OEE pada mesin Miyano 001 adalah nilai performancenya. Faktor penyebab rendahnya nilai OEE dikelompokkan dalam beberapa parameter yaitu manusia, mesin, material, dan material.

Abstract

Regarding criticism and suggestions from consumers, it shows that of the 881,140 products sold, there are 22,947 products that are considered manufacturing defects, with an average percentage of defective products per month of 2.71%, with several types of defects submitted by consumers through the survey. This is quite serious because it will provide a bad experience to consumers in using this product. Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) is a method used to evaluate system design by considering existing failure modes in a machine or equipment component system and analyzing the consequences for the reliability of the system. Based on the method used, it was found that the highest RPN value was in a case of disability, namely causing itching, with an RPN value of 504, consisting of a severity value of 9, occurrence of 7 and detection of 8, with a percentage of RPN occurrences of 35%. Beased on this result, it proposes improvements to the priority types of product defects and other product defects.

Abstract

The research objective is to analyze the percentage value of load unbalance before and after load balancing and the effect on neutral current losses. The load imbalance that occurs at the KP10 substation is simulated through the ETAP 16.0.0 software. Based on the research results, it was found that there was an imbalance in the load of the KP10 substation in direction B, which experienced the greatest load imbalance with a percentage of 38.76% and in direction A, which experienced a load imbalance of 19.6%. Based on SPLN No. 017 of 2014, the percentage of load imbalance exceeding 25% must be repaired. So that the repair is carried out by equalizing the load by breaking the load from direction B to direction A. After the activity of equalizing the load distribution, a decrease in the percentage of load imbalance is obtained. Majoring A is 8.9% and majoring B is 12,6%. The existence of this load imbalance also causes losses due to neutral currents where before the equalization activities the neutral current losses amounted to 6.99% and after the equalization of 1.06%. A simulation was also carried out where the load imbalance simulation results were obtained with the measurement results having results that were not much different.

Abstract

Kegagalan produk adalah kondisi suatu produk yang tidak sesuai dengan maksud atau tujuan yang diinginkan. Pengendalian kegagalan produk merupakan suatu sistem verifikasi dan penjagaan/ perawatan dari suatu tingkatan kualitas produk atau proses yang dikehendaki. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui metode yang tepat untuk digunakan dalam perancangan dan pemasangan alat bantu agar mengurangi kegagalan produk. Selain itu penelitian ini memberikan gambaran mengenai perbaikan alat bantu swing otomatis agar produk yang terbuang dapat dimanfaatkan lebih maksimal, sehingga perusahaan dapat meningkatkan keuntungannya. Dari studi literatur didapatkan perancangan dan redesign untuk perbaikan alat bantu ini baik menggunakan dua metode, yaitu : Focus Group Discussion dan Quality Function Development. Selanjutnya alat bantu swing otomatis dianalisis dan hasilnya ia dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu alternatif yang bisa membantu perusahaan mengurangi biaya produksi dan meningkatkan keuntungan perusahaan. Penggunaan sensor proksimitas yang mampu mendeteksi kontak fisik dapat digunakan untuk memudahkan perancangan swing otomatis tersebut. Dengan digunakannya solenoid valve pneumatic, menjadikan alat tersebut bekerja dengan lebih baik.
