Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine and (1) analyze the influence of organizational culture on employee performance (2) analyze the effect of job satisfaction on employee performance (3) analyze the effect of work safety on employee performance (4) analyze the influence of organizational culture, job satisfaction, and work safety on employee performance and (5) formulate a strategy to improve employee performance that is appropriate to be implemented in PT Bakrie Construction. The selected respondents were employees of PT Bakrie Construction. In this case the researcher took a sample of 115 respondents. Data analysis techniques using Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) and to determine the performance improvement strategy used Analysis Hierarchy Process (AHP). The results of this study indicate that (1) Organizational culture does not significantly influence employee performance, but indirectly affects performance through job satisfaction. (2) Job satisfaction has a significant effect on employee performance (3) Occupational safety has a significant effect on employee performance (4) Job satisfaction together has a significant effect on employee performance. Organizational culture does not significantly influence performance, but indirectly affects employee performance through job satisfaction (5) The alternative strategy that can be done by PT Bakrie Construction in improving employee performance is to improve the welfare of its employees.

Abstract

In this study, an electric vehicle was designed using fossil fuels compared to the hybrid system on a 150cc motorcycle. The design of electric motorcycle vehicles is focused to know the feasibility study comparison between engine drive and electrical drive. In the design of electric motorcycle vehicles know how to make technical economic calculations on electric motorcycles. And converting energy from mechanical energy into electric energy or vice versa requires a device called an electric motor. Having the knowledge and experience in the manufacture of electric motors will be more useful and become important in the future. Electric vehicles are the solution to the problem of depleting petroleum reserves and pollution problems that increase each year due to exhaust emissions produced by oil-fueled vehicles. contribution of motor vehicle exhaust as a source of air  pollutionreaches  60-70%. The decline of fossil fuels in the world is also a major problem that is currently unresolved. The analytical technique used in this study is a descriptive statistic technique. Where in this study will be carried out an assessment of the technical data that occurs on the calculation of the speed of what motor is in accordance with the specified  standards.

Abstract

Sesuai dengan standard ISO 45001 bahwa karyawan harus berpartisipasi dalam melakukan pencegahan kecelakaan. Untuk itu perusahaan telah menetapkan Program Hazob (Hazard Observation) untuk mengidentifikasi bahaya dan melakukan tindakan koreksinya. Penerapan Program Hazob masih dengan metode konvensional, mengisi lembar form, sehingga tidak efektif, efisien dan tidak berintegrasi dengan sistem lain.  Transformasi digitalisasi diperlukan dengan merubah bisnis proses pelaporan dari konvensional ke aplikasi website atau mobile Apps.          Hasil dari penelitian ini terjadi peningkatan kinerja operasional keselamatan kerja dengan program Hazob  (i) pengisian form secara manual bertransformasi ke system digitalisasi aplikasi website dan mobile Apps; (ii) leading indikator pelaporan hazob meningkat menjadi 1.364 dari seluruh lokasi. Ini bermakna, bahwa perusahaan telah mengidentifikasi bahaya sejumlah tersebut dalam kuran waktu 3 bulan, dan melakukan tindakan koreksi sebelum terjadi kecelakakan. Data persentasi kontribusi menunjukan bahwa semua pihak bagian di perusahaan berkontribusi untuk melakukan pelaporan hazob. Hal ini menunjukan komitmen semua tingkatan untuk melakukan pecegahan kecelakaan. Angka terbesar pada tingkatan karywan ( 63 %) berkontribusi ; (iii) dampak implementasi berupa tingkat penurunan angka kecelakaan dengan Lagging Indikator sebagai berikut : LTIR = 0 (Nol), TRIR, yang sebelumnya 0.87 di bulan juni, turun menjadi 0 (nol) dari bulan Juli sampai September 2020, dan IFT, turun terus setiap bulan dan di bulan September di angka 12.33.

Abstract

Excitation system is one of the most important parts of synchronous generators, where the system functions to provide dc power to the field generator coil. Iin this study, a static excitation system consisting of transformers and connected thyristors in bridge configuration has been implemented in synchronous machines that operate as 206,1 mva capacity generators, 16,5 kv using the help of matlab simulink r2017b software. By adjusting the load given to the generator, variations in excitation currents can affect the amount of output voltage generated by the generator so that it can increase and decrease the induced voltage. In full load conditions, namely p = 175 mw, q = 100 mvar, the results of the study show that when the simulation is run at alpha 0 °, it is known that the average value of dc voltage is 496,4 v, excitation current is 1057 a and voltage generator output has increased beyond its nominal voltage of 16,72 kv. in this case, to maintain the terminal voltage, the excitation current must be reduced by increasing the angle of shooting of the thyristor to an alpha angle of 45 °, so that the average dc voltage can be reduced to 479,3 v, as well as the excitation current to 985,9 a. the generator output voltage at the alpha 45 ° angle is obtained according to its nominal value of 1,.5 kv.

Abstract

Kompor merupakan kebutuhan sehari-hari yang digunakan masyarakat sebagai alat untuk menyediakan berbagai makanan guna memenuhi kebutuhan pokok. Penggunaan kompor gas sangat umum digunakan oleh berbagai kalangan karena mudah didapat dan ekonomis (Pemerintah di Indonesia masih mensubsidi tabung gas 3 kg sehingga harganya sangat terjangkau). Namun saat ini pemerintah mendorong masyarakat untuk menggunakan kompor induksi sebagai pengganti dari kompor gas untuk mengurangi impor gas yang selama ini jumlahnya terus meningkat. Pada penelitian sebelumnya dilakukan perbandingan antara penggunaan kompor gas, listrik, dan induksi dengan mengujinya dalam mendidihkan 1 liter air. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan pengujian performa kompor gas dan kompor induksi dalam penggunaannya sehari-hari dengan membandingkan pemakaian energi dan aspek ekonomisnya selama 4 minggu. Dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan menyatakan bahwa pemakaian energi pada kompor induksi dalam 4 miinggu lebih hemat energi dengan pemakaian sebesar 9900,571 kJ dibandingkan dengan kompor gas yaitu 225389,75 kJ di periode waktu yang sama. Namun dari keekonomian, kompor induksi menghabiskan biaya lebih besar yaitu Rp. 4048,45,- dibandingkan dengan kompor gas yang menggunakan gas subsidi yaitu sebesar Rp. 2400,-. Sedangkan untuk biaya pemakaian kompor gas dengan gas nonsubsidi besarnya biaya adalah Rp. 5625,-.

Abstract

Electrification ratios in some isolated regions and scattered islands in Indonesia are still very low. Until now, most of the electricity needs in Indonesia are still supplied by Diesel Power Plants (PLTD) that use fossil energy as their main fuel. There fore, the use of renewable energy is needed as one of the steps in meeting electricity needs. In this study will be studied about Hybrid Power Generators that utilize wind energy or wind using low speed turbine hybrid by utilizing solar energy using solar panels as an alternative to meet the needs of electrical energy in isolated areas and islands outermost in Indonesia. Testing is done on a small scale. The results obtained from the efficiency of the hybrid system are still less than 30%, namely 11.2% which shows poor performance. The total electricity produced per day is 2.7 kWh.

Abstract

Kegagalan produk adalah kondisi suatu produk yang tidak sesuai dengan maksud atau tujuan yang diinginkan. Pengendalian kegagalan produk merupakan suatu sistem verifikasi dan penjagaan/ perawatan dari suatu tingkatan kualitas produk atau proses yang dikehendaki. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui metode yang tepat untuk digunakan dalam perancangan dan pemasangan alat bantu agar mengurangi kegagalan produk. Selain itu penelitian ini memberikan gambaran mengenai perbaikan alat bantu swing otomatis agar produk yang terbuang dapat dimanfaatkan lebih maksimal, sehingga perusahaan dapat meningkatkan keuntungannya. Dari studi literatur didapatkan perancangan dan redesign untuk perbaikan alat bantu ini baik menggunakan dua metode, yaitu : Focus Group Discussion dan Quality Function Development. Selanjutnya alat bantu swing otomatis dianalisis dan hasilnya ia dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu alternatif yang bisa membantu perusahaan mengurangi biaya produksi dan meningkatkan keuntungan perusahaan. Penggunaan sensor proksimitas yang mampu mendeteksi kontak fisik dapat digunakan untuk memudahkan perancangan swing otomatis tersebut. Dengan digunakannya solenoid valve pneumatic, menjadikan alat tersebut bekerja dengan lebih baik.

Abstract

Kegiatan pelatihan P2M ini merupakan kegiatan pelatihan aplikasi EBT (Energi Baru Terbarukan) yang dimotori oleh para Dosen dan mahasiswa STT-PLN di bidang Teknik Elektro. Pelatihan ini berguna untuk melatih siswa-siswi yang duduk dibangku sekolah menengah mengenai lampu penerangan rumah tangga serta daerah-daerah terpencil di Indonesia. Pelatihan diadakan di SMA Pancaran Berkat, Jakarta yang berlokasi di Grogol, Jakarta Barat. Tim P2M memberikan paparan tentang bagaimana merencanakan rancang bangun dan memasang solar home panel di atas atap rumah di atas bangunan menggunakan tiang dan menjelaskan fungsi kerja serta manfaatnya didalam kehidupan masyarakat. Energi surya merupakan energi alternatif yang memiliki potensi besar di Indonesia. Energi terbarukan ini telah dikembangkan dengan metode fotovoltaik yang secara umum dikenal sebagai Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya Fotovoltaik. Perencanaan pembangunan terdiri dari jumlah daya yang dibutuhkan dalam pemakaian sehari-hari, berapa besar arus yang dihasilkan solar cell panel (dalam Ampere Hour) menggunakan Solar Home System (SHS) untuk rumah tinggal sederhana. Hasil dari pemaparan Solar Home System para siswa-siswi antusias mendengar dan mendapat pengetahuan baru mengenai Energi Baru Terbarukan khususnya energi surya. Selain itu SMA Pancaran Berkat sebagai mitra mendapat nilai tambah kerja sama dengan perguruan tinggi, dalam hal ini STT-PLN.
