Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of job stress, work motivation, and work-life balance on job satisfaction among Management students who work while studying at Universitas Bhayangkara Jakarta Raya. This research is motivated by the phenomenon of students who take on dual roles as workers and students, making them susceptible to work pressure and difficulties balancing personal life and work, which potentially affects their level of job satisfaction. This study employs a quantitative method with a causal-associative research design. Primary data were obtained through an online questionnaire distributed to 100 respondents selected using purposive sampling, namely Management students at Universitas Bhayangkara Jakarta Raya who work while studying. Data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) method with the assistance of SmartPLS 4. The results show that job stress has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. Work motivation also has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, as does work-life balance. Thus, the three independent variables job stress, work motivation, and work-life balance are proven to have a positive and significant effect on the job satisfaction of Management students who work while studying at Universitas Bhayangkara Jakarta Raya.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership, work motivation, and work discipline on the performance of public elementary school teachers in Sepanjang Jaya Village, Bekasi City. This research employed a quantitative method with an associative approach. The sample consisted of 91 teachers selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics version 27, including validity, reliability, classical assumption, multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination analyses. The results indicate that leadership, work motivation, and work discipline each have a positive and significant effect on teacher performance. Simultaneously, the three variables also have a positive and significant influence on teacher performance. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.415 indicates that 41.5% of the variation in teacher performance is explained by leadership, work motivation, and work discipline, while the remaining 58.5% is influenced by other factors outside the research model.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work motivation, career planning, and self-efficacy on work readiness among students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Bhayangkara Jakarta Raya University. The research is motivated by the rising unemployment rate among university graduates and low student work readiness identified through a preliminary survey. This study uses a quantitative causal approach with a population of active 2022 students from the Management and Accounting study programs. The sample consisted of 200 respondents selected using proportional cluster sampling. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS 26. The results show that work motivation has a positive and significant effect on work readiness (t-value 4.193; sig. 0.000). Career planning has a positive and significant effect (t-value 3.529; sig. 0.001). Self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect with the most dominant influence (t-value 6.778; sig. 0.000). Simultaneously, the three variables significantly affect work readiness (F-value 87.558; sig. 0.000) with a contribution of 57.3% (R²=0.573), while the remaining 42.7% is influenced by other factors outside the model.

Abstract

Flexibility in organizations is an increasingly important principle in dealing with rapidly changing market dynamics. This study aims to explore how the application of flexibility in decision-making and innovation, by relating to the concept of methodological freedom developed by Paul Feyerabend, can strengthen organizational performance and resilience. Using case studies from several leading companies such as Google, Netflix, Amazon, Zara, and Tesla, the study analyzes how freedom to choose different methodological and experimental approaches can drive innovation, improve responsiveness to change, and provide a sustainable competitive advantage. Organizations that implement flexibility in their operational structure and managerial strategy show improvements in creativity, resilience to uncertainty, and adaptability to external changes. However, the main challenge faced is maintaining a balance between individual freedom and a clear organizational structure. Leadership that supports experimentation and views failure as part of the learning process has proven to be an important factor in creating an innovative culture. This research provides valuable insights for managerial practitioners and academics regarding the importance of implementing flexibility to achieve competitive advantage in organizations.
