Abstract

Using AI in primary education can enhance teachers’ efficiency in developing instructional materials aligned with the Merdeka Curriculum, reduce their workload, and improve the quality of learning through contextual and continuous training. This activity was conducted at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Swasta Darul Ulum Lamongan due to its diverse student population, strong commitment to improving educational quality, and the pressing need to develop technological innovations in the teaching and learning process in the region. The method involved tutorials, hands-on practice, and discussions carried out in three phases: needs assessment, intensive training with mentoring, and evaluation through reflection and feedback. Results indicate that the AI-assisted learning management support program was successfully implemented and received positive responses from participating teachers. The process began with a needs analysis through discussions and surveys, revealing low levels of digital literacy and limited experience among teachers using AI tools. The core training phase was delivered through tutorials and practical sessions using applications like ChatGPT and Merlin AI to help design teaching materials. Interactive discussions encouraged active participation and boosted teachers’ confidence. The final evaluation showed that teachers felt significantly supported, became more efficient in performing administrative tasks, and were motivated to integrate AI into their teaching activities sustainably. Conclusion: The integration of artificial intelligence through tutorials, practical sessions, and discussions effectively enhanced teachers’ ability to design innovative and efficient instructional materials, while also promoting the integration of technology into the learning process.

Abstract

Motivasi belajar merupakan dorongan dari diri siswa untuk belajar. Pemahaman matematis merupakan tujuan pembelajaran matematika karena kemampuan pemahaman matematis diperlukan untuk menyelesaikan masalah sehari-hari. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya serta besarnya pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa MI Al Hidayah Surabaya. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu angket motivasi dan tes pemahaman matematis. Instrumen penelitian diberikan kepada subjek penelitian untuk mengumpulkan data terkait motivasi serta pemahaman matematis subjek penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,217 yang berarti memberikan pengaruh dalam kategori rendah. Dapat dikatakan bahwa siswa kelas VI MI Al Hidayah Surabaya sebagian memiliki motivasi belajar yang berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemahaman matematis. Lebih lanjut, berdasarkan perhitungan koefisien determinasi diperoleh informasi bahwa pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa MI Al Hidayah Surabaya sebesar 47%. Dengan kata lain, 53 % dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain

Abstract

The various kinds of obstacles occur in the learning process during the pandemic. One approach to solving learning problems is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The purpose of this study is to describe the urgency of CAR to improve the quality of learning in the new normal. This research method is descriptive and qualitative. The research subjects were active elementary teachers in East Java. The data collection instrument in this study was a questionnaire distributed online. The results of the study showed that 100% of the participating teachers thought that CAR was important to implement. This is because they benefit from the implementation of CAR, namely improving the quality of learning. However, the implementation of CAR during the pandemic experienced various obstacles including limited internet connection and face-to-face time. This is a challenge for teachers to continue to carry out CAR with the blended learning method to overcome learning problems that occur during the new normal period.

Abstract

Keterampilan pemecahan masalah matematis memungkinkan siswa untuk menyelesaikan masalah dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dengan kritis dan kreatif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis bagaimana siswa SD/MI memecahkan masalah matematika dalam  materi bangun ruang berdasarkan Langkah Polya. Siswa kelas 6A MI Darut Tauhid Surabaya dijadikan sebagai sumber informasi dalam penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik deskriptif ini. Tes pemecahan masalah, wawancara, serta dokumentasi digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, (1) persentase kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa kelas 6A MI Darut Tauhid Surabaya berkategori tinggi yaitu sebesar 64%, berkategori sedang sebesar 28 %, dan berkategori rendah sebesar 8% (2) siswa berkemampuan tinggi dapat menjalankan 4 langkah pemecahan masalah Polya dengan sangat baik, yaitu memahami masalah, merencanakan pemecahan, melaksanakan rencana pemecahan, dan memeriksa kembali Sedangkan siswa berkemampuan sedang hanya mampu melalui 3 tahapan polya dan masih kurang teliti dalam memeriksa kembali, serta siswa yang berkemampuan rendah hanya mampu melaksanakan tahap memahami masalah dan kurang mampu menjalankan langkah-langkah polya berikutnya.
