Abstract

Abstrak: Belajar sains pada hakekatnya merupakan kegiatan berpikir dan memerlukan proses penyelidikan. Namun pembelajaran dan pengajaran fisika terkait fenomena getaran-gelombang masih dirasa sulit dan tidak menarik bagi kebanyakan peserta didik. Penelitian bertujuan mengidentifikasi profil pembelajaran dan pengajaran yang diterapkan saat ini, mengidentifikasi penggunaan media ICT, dan menganalisis ketersediaan sarana-prasarana penunjang, serta nilai karakter yang dimiliki peserta didik. Jenis Penelitian adalah deskriptif kualitatif, sampel diambil secara Purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan angket tertutup yang diperkuat dengan wawancara, dan analisis data menggunakan kategori prosentase yang dideskripsikan secara kualitatif. Disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dan pengajaran konsep getaran-gelombang belum berfokus pada pengembangan keterampilan, kreatifitas dan aktivitas penyelidikan, literasi dan integrasi TIK masih sangat minim meski sarana-prasarana cukup tersedia. Nilai karakter dalam kerja sama dan rasa ingin tahu peserta didik sudah cukup baik, namun nilai keperdulian dan tanggung jawab terhadap pelestarian lingkungan masih rendah. Diperlukan desain pembelajaran dan pengajaran getaran-gelombang yang lebih kontekstual, terintegrasi dengan teknologi, dan memfokuskan pada proses yang berpusat pada peserta didik.Abstract: Learning science is essentially thoughtful and requires an inquiry process. However, learning and teaching physics on vibration-wave phenomena is still difficult and unattractive to most learners. This study aims to identify current learning and teaching profiles, identify the use of ICT, and analyze the availability of supporting facilities, as well as the value of characters that the learner has. Type of research is descriptive qualitative, samples taken by purposive sampling. Data were collected using a closed questionnaire reinforced by interviews, and data analysis using a percentage category that is described qualitatively. It was concluded that learning and teaching physics have not focused on skills, creativity, and investigation activities. Literacy and ICT integration are still minim although adequate facilities are available. The value of character in cooperation and curiosity of learners is good, but the value of caring and responsibility towards environmental conservation is still low. So it needs a more contextual learning and teaching design of vibration-waves, integrated with technology, and focuses on a learner-centered process.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPendidikan 4.0 secara keseluruhan akan berkontribusi dalam membangun generasi saat ini, yang disebut “Z Generation”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media Instagram #physics in my live pada model blended learning terhadap keterampilan berpikir Z Generation yang meliputi keterampilan berpikir kritis, berpikir kreatif & pemecahan masalah pada siswa SMA. Masalah yang diteliti adalah (1) apakah ada peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis, berpikir kreatif & pemecahan masalah Z Generation siswa SMA Kediri Lombok Barat; (2) apakah ada pengaruh penggunaan media instagram #physics in my live model blended learning terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis, berpikir kreatif & pemecahan masalah Z Generation siswa SMA Kediri Lombok Barat; (3) apakah ada hubungan antara aspek keterampilan berpikir kritis, berpikir kreatif Z Generation siswa SMAN 1 Kediri Lombok Barat. Jenis penelitian yang akan digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain one group pre-test and post-test. Perlakuan dilaksanakan pada satu kelompok ekperimen tanpa kelompok pembanding. Teknik Analisa data kuantitatif menggunakan uji Gain & uji regresi linear ganda dengan satu variabel terikat & tiga variabel bebas. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah Tes tulis, Angket & Lembar Observasi. Tes paper pencil untuk mengetahui keterampilan berpikir kritis, berpikir kreatif & pemecahan masalah Z Generation siswa SMA. Angket penelitian untuk mengetahui respon siswa terhadap media Instagram #physics in my live model blended learning, sedang lembar observasi untuk mengetahui pencapaian pembelajaran blended learning. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) media instagram pada pembelajaran blended learning memberikan pengaruh terhadap peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis, berpikir kreatif dan keterampilan pemecahan masalah siswa SMA, (2) pembelajaran berbasis proyek mampu meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah siswa SMA, (3) setiap aspek keterampilan berpikir kritis mempunyai hubungan dengan aspek keterampilan berpikir kreatif. Kata kunci: instagram; keterampilan berpikir; Z generation; blended learning. ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study is to determine the effect of Instagram #physics in my live blended learning model on critical thinking skills, creative thinking & problem-solving Z Generation of Kediri High School students, West Lombok. The type of research that will be used is mixed research that emphasizes the collection of quantitative and qualitative data. The quantitative research method used is a quasi-experimental design with one group pre-test and post-test design. The treatment was carried out in one experimental group without a comparison group. Quantitative data analysis technique using Gain test & multiple linear regression test with one dependent variable & three independent variables. The instruments of this research are Tests, Questionnaires & Observation Sheets. Paper pencil test to determine critical thinking skills, creative thinking & problem-solving Z Generation high school students. The research questionnaire was to determine student responses to the Instagram #physics in my live blended learning model, while the observation sheet was to determine the achievement of blended learning. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that: (1) Instagram media in blended learning has an effect on increasing critical thinking skills and creative thinking skills of high school students, (2) project-based learning is able to improve problem solving skills of high school students, (3) every aspect of skills critical thinking has a relationship with aspects of creative thinking skills. Keywords: instagram; thinking skills; Z generation; blended learning.

Abstract

Learning physics requires students to master the basic concepts of physics. Not infrequently, the physics concept is abstract, so it isn't easy to be perceived by students. However, abstract concepts in physics learning can be overcome by visualizing physics concepts packaged in computer software-based application programs in the form of computer simulations. This study aims to develop a 2-D motion simulation program based on the Matlab GUI. This study uses the Research & Development method. The development of this application program is carried out through 4 stages called 4-D: Define, Design, Develop, and Dissemination. The subjects in this study were 20 students of class XI MAS Nurul Jannah Ampenan. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the quality of the product that has been developed is very feasible, with a percentage of 89,09% based on the assessment of material experts, 93,33% by media experts in the appropriate category, the response of students in class XI MAS Nurul Jannah Ampenan on the motion simulation application program 2- D-based GUI Matlab with a percentage of 88,20% with an excellent category, and an increase in understanding of physics concepts on the subject of 2-D motion; projectile motion after students use the 2-D motion simulation application program is in the medium category, seen from the class average gain value of 0.62. Therefore, the application program that has been developed has met the eligibility criteria and can be used in physics learning.

Abstract

Android is very important in the learning process of natural sciences, especially in physics learning which is often called difficult so that a lot of research discusses its application in every level of education both at the elementary school, junior high school and high school levels. So far there has been no research that discusses further about how much influence the android media has in the process of learning physics. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to determine the degree of influence of the use of android media in physics learning for the last 10 years both at the elementary, middle and high school levels. This research uses a meta-analysis method, which is to analyze in depth the results of research that meet the established inclusion and exclusion criteria. The data was analyzed using JASP software with the input of Effect Size (ES) and Standard Error (SE) values. The results showed that overall the level of influence of android media in physics learning was 83% which is included in the high category. Based on the level of education at the elementary level, 95.3% (high category), junior high school by 73% (medium category), high school level by 84% (high category). The level of influence before Covid-19 was 85% (high category) and after Covid-19 was 82% (high category) and as for based on the focal plane of waves and optics by 71% (medium category), basic physics by 87% (high category) and thermodynamics by 85% (high category). So that when viewed based on the level of education, android media is more appropriate to use at the elementary level than junior high school and high school.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPerkembangan teknologi digital mendorong para guru dapat mengimplementasikannya untuk membantu pencapaian tujuan belajar mengajar, namun para guru masih sangat minim pengalaman dan pengetahuan dalam menggunakannya, seperti memanfaatkan Ms. Word untuk menggambar, menulis rumus matematis/ kimia/ fisika secara benar, cepat, dan praktis. Melihat permasalahan ini maka dilakukan kegiatan pelatihan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan para guru menulis rumus dan menggambar objek untuk pembelajaran sains menggunakan software dasar Ms.Word, dan mengetahui bagaimana espektasi para guru dalam mengembangkan keilmuan dan keterampilan digital. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dalam bentuk pelatihan kepada para guru mitra sekolah Asshohwah Al-Islamiyah yang berjumlah 20 orang. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada akhir September 2021 secara tatap muka di ruang Laboratorium komputer sekolah mitra. Kegiatan diawali dengan proses koordinasi, observasi, penyusunan jadwal, pengembangan modul, sosialisasi materi, pelaksanaan pelatihan, serta monitoring dan evaluasi yang dilakukan dengan pengamatan kinerja, penyebaran angket, dan wawancara. Kegiatan ini telah terlaksana dengan baik dan lancar, serta berhasil menunjukkan bahwa para guru menjadi tahu dan terampil menggunakan software Ms. Word untuk penulisan rumus dan menggambar materi sains-matematika secara benar dan praktis, selanjutnya 96 % dari seluruh peserta memberikan kesan mendukung keberlanjutan kegiatan pengabdian ini dengan materi terkait teknologi untuk pembelajaran karena menyatakan sangat bermanfaat dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan para guru dan siswa masa kini. Kata kunci: pelatihan berbasis IT; penulisan formula matematis; ms.word. ABSTRACTThe development of digital technology encourages teachers to implementation for achieve teaching and learning goals, but teachers still have very little experience and knowledge in using it, such as using Ms. Word to draw, write mathematical/chemical/physical formulas correctly, quickly, and practically. Seeing this problem, training activities were carried out to improve knowledge and skills of teachers in digital literacy learning science using Ms.Word, and find out how the expectations of teachers are in developing digital science and skills. This activity was carried out through training for teachers of Asshohwah Al-Islamiyah school, totaling 20 people. This activity will be held in September 2021 in the partner school's computer laboratory. The activity begins with a process of coordination, observation, scheduling, module development, material dissemination, training implementation, as well as monitoring and evaluation carried out by observing performance, distributing questionnaires, and interviews. This activity has been carried out well and smoothly, and has succes in showing that teachers know and are skilled at using Ms. Word software for writing formulas and drawing science-mathematical materials correctly and practically, then 96% of all participants gave the impression of supporting the sustainability of this activity with material related to technology for learning because they stated that it was very useful and in accordance with the needs of today's teachers and students. Keywords: IT-based training; writing mathematical formulas; ms.word.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPerkembangan dalam Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) dewasa ini semakin pesat. Pemanfaatan teknologi dalam dunia pendidikan juga semakin digiatkan. Pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dalam dunia pendidikan diantaranya dapat membantu dalam proses pembelajaran. Namun hal ini tidak berbanding lurus dengan fakta dilapangan dimana tidak sedikit guru selaku tenaga pendidik masih belum menguasai pemanfaatan TIK dalam mengoptimalkan proses pembelajaran. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan guna membantu para guru di MAS Nurul Jannah Ampenan dalam menerapkan TIK dalam pembelajaran berupa  pemanfaatan Google Site dalam membuat media pembelajaran sehingga diharapkan para guru dapat memaksimalkan proses belajar dan mengajar di kelas. Metode kegiatan berupa ceramah, diskusi dan praktek. Mitra sasaran kegiatan yaitu para guru di MAS Nurul Jannah berjumlah 17 orang. Berdasarkan data kuesioner kepuasan peserta, diperoleh 64,7% responden menyatakan sangat setuju terkait penyampaian materi oleh narasumber. Menurut 52,9% responden menyatakan sangat setuju terkait sesi tanya jawab berjalan efektif dan narasumber dapat menjawab pertanyaan peserta. Sebanyak 70,6% responden mengakui narasumber tanggap merespon segala permasalahan yang dihadapi peserta. Menurut 41,2% responden menyatakan sangat setuju terkait pelaksanaan praktek pembuatan media pembelajaran menggunakan Google site disampaikan secara terstruktur sesuai modul, hal ini berbanding lurus dengan konten modul praktek yang dibagikan mudah dipahami menurut 58,8% responden. Kata kunci: pemanfaatan TIK; google sites; proses pembelajaran. ABSTRACTDevelopments in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) today are growing rapidly. The use of technology in the world of education is also increasingly encouraged. The use of information technology in the world of education can help in the learning process. However, this is not directly proportional to the facts on the ground, where not a few teachers as educators still have not mastered the use of ICT in optimizing the learning process. This service activity aims to help teachers at MAS Nurul Jannah Ampenan apply ICT to learning by using Google Sites to make learning media so that teachers can maximize the teaching and learning process in class. Methods of activity in the form of lectures, discussions, and practice The target partners of the activity are the teachers at MAS Nurul Jannah, totaling 17 people. Based on the participant satisfaction questionnaire, it was found that 64.7% of respondents stated that they strongly agreed regarding the delivery of material by the resource person. According to 52.9% of respondents, they strongly agreed that the question-and-answer session was effective and that the resource persons were able to answer participant questions. As many as 70.6% of respondents acknowledged that the resource persons were responsive in responding to all the problems faced by the participants. According to 41.2% of respondents, they strongly agreed regarding the implementation of the practice of making learning media using the Google site delivered in a structured manner according to modules; this was directly proportional to the practice module content, which was easily understood according to 58.8% of respondents. Keywords: utilization of ICT; google sites; learning process.

Abstract

One of the few sound phenomena is the beat. The concept of beat is very important to be study because its applies to daily life, but in teaching and learning activities most teachers are still in a conventional model theoretical-based, of course only give abstract knowledge to learners. On the other hand, the learning concept of wave must involve representations all (audio visual, graphical, mathematical, symbolic, and verbal). There have been many published papers on similar experiments. However, we continue to gather experiments using traditional musical instruments as a source of sound and free software tracker. Therefore, in this paper we will describe a conceptual teaching innovation by presenting a step by step how to do that using Sundanese flute from West Java (Indonesia) and Adobe audition 1.5, as well as examples of its application to determining the frequency of traditional musical instruments which is identical by the concept of beat, so it can be an interesting method to do in classroom.

Abstract

Currently, the word "freedom to learn" is not foreign to Indonesian society, especially in the world of education. The independent learning curriculum was designed as an effort by the Ministry of Education and Culture to overcome the learning crisis that has long been faced due to the pandemic. The pandemic has influenced a learning crisis which is characterized by low student learning outcomes. The aim of the independent curriculum is so that education in Indonesia can be like developed countries where students have the freedom to choose according to their interests. Given this, the aim of writing this article is to provide information regarding the independent learning curriculum which is being implemented as an effort to restore learning in Indonesia today. This research is descriptive research with data collection techniques through online data searching or internet searching. In conclusion, the independent curriculum is an important component in the world of education, because the curriculum is a reference for organizing so that educational goals can be achieved. In this independent curriculum, it is prepared by the Government as the policy maker. However, it is the education units and teachers who are tasked with operationalizing and implementing the curriculum that has been prepared by the central government. Apart from that, seeing that there are several weaknesses in the independent curriculum, it is necessary to carry out socialization and adjustments first before the independent curriculum becomes the national curriculum.

Abstract

Literacy is one of the most important abilities in successful learning. Therefore, research was conducted to determine the effect of implementing a literacy program on the Indonesian language learning outcomes of class IV students at SDN Batuputih, Kec. Plampang. The research method used was pre-Experimental Design with a sample of 16 class IV students. Data was collected using test instruments, then analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical techniques. This research resulted in an increase in graduation achievement with the average score for Indonesian language lessons going from 25% to 81.25% classically. Apart from that, the level of students' ability and mastery of the material increased after the Literacy Program was implemented where students who reached the original KKM limit were only 50% to 100%. The implementation of the Literacy Program has a significant influence on improving Indonesian language learning outcomes for class IV students at SDN Batuputih, Kec. Plampang.

Abstract

Based on the previous literature review, applying the POGIL (Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning) model in elementary school learning still needs to be strengthened using animation media to achieve optimal learning goals. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of using the POGIL model assisted by animation media regarding changes in science process and collaboration skills. This type of research is a quasi-experiment with a Non-Equivalent Control Group Design class design. The sample used was 58 students, consisting of 29 in the VA class as the experimental class and 29 in the VB class as the control class. The data collection instruments in this research were essay question sheets, observation sheets, and questionnaire sheets. The data analysis method used is inferential statistics with the t-test. The results of this research are that the use of the POGIL model assisted by animation media has very effective results on the science process skills and collaboration abilities of elementary school students as seen from the achievement and improvement of each indicator of science process skills which is classified in the very high category. Students' cooperative abilities in groups have increased significantly, resulting in relatively high scores. It was concluded that using the POGIL Model significantly improved elementary school students' science process skills and collaboration.
