Abstract

Social conservation values are very important to be maintained and preserved. Social conservation values are the source of Indonesians character. Social conservation values comes from the values of local wisdom that exist in each ethnic, and Indonesian community, one of them is the Samin Tribe. This study aims to find the local wisdom values of the Samin community that are threatened with extinction due to modernization. This study uses a qualitative method, with the process of collecting data carried out through interviews with local leaders of the Samin community in Kudus Regency. Interviews were conducted to explore hereditary social activities about beliefs, traditions, social interactions and livelihoods. The results showed that the Samin Community conserved social values in the form of teachings that must be abandoned and teachings that should be done. Some teachings that should not be carried out are prohibitions of slander, greed, irritability, accusation without proof, jealousy, being bad towards others, accusing, stealing, picking or taking something that is still integrated with the main part, finding other people's things. The teaching that must be done is understanding the property itself, being honest, obeying the teachings, and getting along well. The values of the local wisdom of the Samin community can not only be applied to the local people of the Samin tribe, but can be implemented nationally and globally. Globally, the wisdom value of the Samin community can create world peace.

Local wisdom-based understanding, role-playing, and social action initiatives are taught. Local wisdom-based character education shapes students' behaviour and attitudes, preparing them for future problems and conserving national traditions. Schools may foster well-rounded students by fostering positive character, student participation, and cultural diversity.

Abstract

This research examines the representation of LGBTQ identity on Instagram using multimodal content analysis on the @yayasangayanusantara account. Using Muted Theory, this study highlights how LGBTQ identities are formed and presented in social and digital contexts. Instagram was identified as an essential platform for authentic and multidimensional LGBTQ identities by challenging conventional stereotypes and discrimination in traditional media. The research methodology involves qualitative analysis of various forms of content (text, images, and videos). The main focus is how LGBTQ individuals use social media to express themselves, seek support, and build solidarity. The findings show that Instagram is not just a passive means of interaction, but a robust advocacy and education tool. This research also highlights the role of social media in promoting inclusivity and a more positive understanding of the LGBTQ community. These findings challenge traditional assumptions regarding the silencing of minority groups, showing that they actively construct and negotiate their identities in digital public spaces. Theoretically, this research expands understanding of identity construction in the digital era and highlights the critical role of Instagram as an empowerment tool. Practically, these findings provide the basis for more effective advocacy strategies, more inclusive policies, and new approaches to education and social dialogue regarding LGBTQ issues in Indonesia.

While the observations were carried out by seeing directly what the Perang Obor was like in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. The results of the study found the fact that the existence of the Perang Obor tradition in the midst of the covid-19 pandemic was maintained but with some changes. The changes include the implementation of health protocols, the number of participants and limited time to avoid crowds that can become a medium for the spread of COVID-19. This study also found the fact that the policy of the village head continued to carry out the Perang Obor tradition in the midst of a pandemic because this tradition is related to meaningful cultural values and ideologies. Therefore, if it is abolished, it is feared that it will cause conflict for the people of Tegalsambi because the response from the people of Tegalsari has been very positive although they hope that the Perang Obor tradition can be carried out as vibrantly as when there was no COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

As a diverse nation, Indonesia often experiences clashes regarding diversity in life. The culturally embedded concept of divinity is believed to be a driving force in supporting religious moderation in Indonesia. This concept is crucial in religious pluralism in Indonesia, a country with diverse cultural and religious backgrounds. This study adopts a qualitative approach through a literature review referencing national and international journals indexed in Scopus. The research findings indicate that maintaining harmony among religious communities and religious moderation serves as a strong foundation. Culturally embedded divinity refers to understanding cultural and religious diversity, a noble heritage of the Indonesian nation. Through this understanding, it is hoped that society can appreciate differences and strengthen tolerance among religious communities. This article also explores the implementation of culturally embedded divinity in public policies, efforts to enhance interfaith dialogue in Indonesia, and the public perception of moderate attitudes. The research trend on religious moderation in Indonesia is still very low. Thus, it is concluded that a profound understanding of this concept can strengthen the foundation of religious harmony and unity amidst Indonesia's diversity.

Abstract

Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek), has shown a strong commitment to eliminating the three major sins in education sexual violence, bullying, and intolerance as stipulated in Regulation No. 46 of 2023. This policy has inspired various initiatives within educational institutions, one of which is the establishment of the Task Force for the Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence (Satgas PPKS) at SMAN 2 Semarang. This task force was formed in response to the increasing number of social deviance cases in schools, with data indicating 115 cases of sexual violence, 61 cases of bullying, and 24 cases of intolerance. This study aims to describe and analyze the capacity building of the Satgas PPKS in carrying out its role as a mitigation agent based on Pancasila values. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and training sessions conducted by a community service team from Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES). The findings show that Pancasila values serve as a crucial foundation for shaping students’ character to uphold tolerance, justice, and humanity. In this context, UNNES, as a Teacher Training Institution (LPTK), plays an active role in guiding and strengthening the capacity of the Satgas PPKS. Through this initiative, a strategic collaboration is built to create a safe, inclusive, and Pancasila-oriented school ecosystem

Abstract

Education, apart from being an effort to transform knowledge, is expected to be able to transform good values in life. Currently, various moral problems in the world of education, especially among students in schools, are increasing, ranging from simple to complex issues. Strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile at school is seen as a strategic foundation to shape students with noble character aligned with the six dimensions of lifelong learners. One approach to instilling good character is through moral movements, where the method of habituation allows students to gradually apply values in their daily lives. Using a qualitative approach with data collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature review, this study explores how such movements operate in practice. Within this framework, the SANTRI moral movement emerges as a meaningful initiative that embodies politeness, independence, and excellence values that harmonise with the essence of the Pancasila Student Profile. When embedded into the school culture, these efforts subtly but powerfully influence students’ behaviour and mindset, offering a sustainable path toward cultivating strong moral foundations in education.
