Abstract

The Influence of Tourism Village Status on Perceptions of Community Happiness in Jodipan, Blimbing, Malang City. The focus of this experiment is the perception of happiness among residents in the Jodipan tourism village. The basic assumption behind this experiment is that changes in the status of slum settlements in the Jodipan village which later turned into a colorful tourist villageof Jodipan are very likely to affect the level of happiness of the people who live there. This study aims to describe (a) the most influential variables in determining the level of happiness in Jodipan Village and (b) whether there is a relationship between the change in status of Kampung Jodipan (from slums to tourism villages) to the perception of happiness of the community. To test these assumptions, this study uses a quantitative-descriptive approach. The data in this study were obtained through questionnaires adjusted for indicators in measuring perceptions of happiness such as: utilization of time and life balance, speech culture and the value of religiosity, physical and mental health, and community solidarity. The data were then validated and analyzed to examine the relationship between independent variables (X), namely the status of tourist village with the dependent variable (Y), which is the perception of happiness. Furthermore, this study also aims to examine the relationship between sub-variable attitudes and sub-variables of perception of happiness as indicators.

Abstract

Ihyaul Quran Indonesia Foundation is a foundation engaged in Al-Quran education. An official foundation needs a website as public information and to support the programs of the foundation. According to the results of initial interviews conducted with foundation stakeholders, the foundation needs a website that functions as a funnel for information on the foundation for the public and to support for making donations. However, the requirement continues to increase as this research progresses. There are two groups of users of this website, namely the general public and administrators who manage the website. This research uses the Human Centered Design (HCD) method which is user-oriented with the hope that the design made is truly in accordance with the user's needs. The HCD method begins with the process of understanding and specifying the context of use that will produce personas, analysis of the system environment, and system objectives. The second stage is to analyze user requirements that generate functional and non-functional requirements along with use cases. The third stage is to design a solution that produces a wireframe and high fidelity prototype. The last stage is an evaluation of the solution design. The results of the evaluation using the System Usability Scale (SUS) got a score of 87 in the general public user group design, 78.75 in the admin user group design, which means it has adjective ratings of excellent. Evaluation using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) got an excellent score on the attractiveness, efficiency, dependability, and simulation aspects. While the aspects of perspicuity and novelity got good scores.

Abstract

Arta Barber and Chill has been in the barbershop world since 2010. Arta Barber and Chill provides deep shaving needs without waiting in line, but still being able to experience the quality of a premium barbershop, then equipped with health protocols that have been made through discussions with doctors to avoid the spread of the virus. In interviews with several relevant users in order to obtain information, problems were found on the Arta Barber and Chill website, such as the absence of a barber selection that matches the user's wishes and the need for a login feature so that customer data can be stored. Based on the problems found, tree testing was carried out on the initial evaluation of the website. Aspects that are measured during tree testing are success rate, directness, time spent, first click, and destination. After performing tree testing, the closed card sorting method is used in making design solutions so that the flow and navigation of the website is in accordance with user expectations, with the final result of the sitemap and in accordance with usability guidelines. The final results obtained in this study are recommendations for flow and website navigation and an increase in the value of user satisfaction. Then, the conclusions obtained from this study stated that there was a very significant increase in the value of user satisfaction.

Abstract

Coffee is one of the leading commodities in Indonesia because it has good market opportunities both at Indonesia and overseas. Coffee commodities often experience price fluctuations as a result of an imbalance between coffee demand and supply. One of the efforts to anticipate price fluctuations is to do price forecasting. Many forecasting methods can be used, such as Fuzzy Time Series and Long Short-Term Memory which are used in this study to predict coffee prices on the next day. This study will use data on prices for North Sumatra Arabica coffee from January 2020 to August 2021 which were obtained from the official BAPPEBTI's website. In this study, the MAPE value generated in the Fuzzy Time Series Average-Based Interval is 0.016 and the smallest MAPE value in the Long Short-Term Memory method is obtained when the learning rate = 0.00001 with an initial weight value of 0.5 which means obtained MAPE value of 0.06. The MAPE value of both methods is below 10, so it can be said that both methods are categorized as very good. It can be said that in this study the Fuzzy Time Series Average-Based Interval method has better accuracy than Long Short-Term Memory in forecasting the price of Arabica coffee in North Sumatra.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui efektivitas implementasi unsur desain grafis pada media pembelajaran berbasis presentasi pada motivasi belajar siswa. Sehingga kedepannya guru dapat mempertimbangkan pembuatan media pembelajaran berbasis presentasi dengan memperhatikan aspek visual. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah penelitian eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan tahapan aktivitas observasi, mengumpulkan data, mengolah data, dan di akhir memperoleh hasil keputusan terkait hasil pengolahan data tersebut. Responden yang berpartisipasi dipilih dari siswa SMK dengan program keahlian RPL, populasi responden berjumlah 72 dari kelas X RPL 2 & 3 masing-masing 36 siswa. Namun, sampel yang diambil hanyalah berjumlah 30 siswa dikarenakan di tiap pertemuannya ada siswa yang izin atau tidak masuk. Data yang diambil dibagi menjadi 2 kelas dan tiap kelas masing-masing memiliki data pre observation dan post observation. Berdasarkan perhitungan uji t pada kelas eksperimen yang mendapatkan perlakuan, t_hitung memperoleh nilai sebesar -1,873 dan nilai signifikasi sebesar .071. Pada perhitungan perbedaan rata-rata, ditemukan kenaikan motivasi sebesar 3,7 pada kelas eksperimen. Hasil tersebut menandakan bahwa tidak ada pengaruh yang signifikan dengan implementasi unsur desain grafis pada media pembelajaran berbasis presentasi terhadap motivasi belajar siswa SMK.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran flipped classroom pada mata pelajaran pemrograman dasar terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMK Negeri 6 Malang. Sampel yang digunakan adalah kelas X RPL 2 dan 3. Jumlah siswa kelas X RPL 2 yang terlibat adalah 34 siswa dan 30 siswa untuk kelas X RPL 3 sehingga jika dijumlah sebanyak 64 siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode weak experiment yang dibagi menjadi dua kelas, yaitu kelas kontrol yang tidak diberi treatment dan kelas eksperimen yang diberi treatment berupa penerapan model pembelajaran flipped classroom. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan ada dua yaitu: weak experiment (static group pretest-post-test design) untuk mengukur hasil belajar ranah kognitif dan afektif serta weak experiment (static group comparison design) untuk mengukur hasil belajar ranah psikomotorik. Alat ukur yang digunakan terdiri dari pre-test dan post-test guna mengukur ranah kognitif, observation sheet digunakan untuk observasi yang mengukur ranah afektif, dan lembar kerja untuk mengukur ranah psikomotorik. Dalam penelitian ini akan dilakukan 3 uji yaitu, (1) uji normalitas; (2) uji homogenitas; (3) uji hipotesis perbedaan. Uji hipotesis perbedaan yang digunakan adalah Uji Mann Whitney U-Test dan Uji Wilcoxon. Dari uji hipotesis yang sudah dijalankan bisa ditarik kesimpulan bahwasanya hasil belajar dari hasil penelitian ini mendapatkan hasil bahwa model pembelajaran flipped classroom memiliki pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar ranah kognitif (z(62)=3,012; p<0,01; d=0,398), ranah afektif z(62)=4,377; p<0,01; d=0,565), serta tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar pada ranah psikomotorik (z(62)=1,520; p>0,05).

Abstract

This study departs from an integrated curriculum problem in higher education which has not found a clear formulation according to the direction of character formation. In the integrated curriculum, there is a comprehensive model to the practical level to shape the character of students. Today's universities are almost having trouble producing graduates with character. The integrated curriculum offers an integrated and complex educational concept in developing student potential. With the character education model based on an integrated curriculum, it is hoped that it will be a solution to the concerns of education practitioners facing the decline in the character of higher education graduates. This paper explains that: (1) The concept of integrated curriculum-based character education carried out in tertiary institutions consists of the conception of an integrated vision and mission, institutional integration, curriculum integration, and learning according to the model both within single disciplines, across several disciplines, and inside the mind. of the learners; (2) Integrated curriculum-based character education uses a rational and deductive interaction approach to divide roles between leaders, employees, and lecturers; (3) methods and strategies in integrated curriculum-based character education in the classroom, by prioritizing problem-solving methods, project methods, unit teaching, inquiry, discovery, and thematic approaches; (4) evaluation of integrated curriculum-based character education.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance coffee farmers’ managerial competence in Wonorejo Village, Pasuruan Regency, in their efforts to develop agritourism at Bromo's 'Lodji.' The implementation method of this community service involves socialization through location service identification, brainstorming, and group discussions. The evaluation instrument for this activity utilizes surveys and is analyzed descriptively. The results of this community service show that the socialization of coffee farming tourism has proven to be an effective means of developing the management capacity of farmers in various aspects, including self-management, business management, and teamwork. Through this socialization, farmers are provided with the knowledge and skills necessary to become effective managers in managing their coffee farms.
