Abstract

Health sociology study that sexual crimes are a form of social deviation. This is because the act is very contrary to the provisions of norms and positive laws that apply to be studied from the legal aspect, causes and solutions to resolve the problem of sexual harassment socially. The purpose of the PkM activity is an effort to prevent sexual harassment of adolescents and it is expected to know the parts of the body with permissible and unacceptable touch and efforts to avoid various forms of deviation and sexual behavior. The method of PKM activities from this program is health education for adolescents in an effort to prevent sexual harassment by improving the quality of parent-adolescent relationships. The results of the activity were carried out well and smoothly with the number of participants in this activity totaling 41 people. The conclusion is that sexual violence against adolescents is a form of violence that is destructive and violates so that individual awareness and the active role of society in strengthening the mechanism for protecting adolescents from sexual violence still need to be pursued together to produce a positive and meaningful impact in protecting adolescents in their social environment.

Abstract

Health promotion regarding the importance of physical activity for students' physical fitness at Universitas Tribhuwana Tunggadewi Malang plays a crucial role in fostering healthy lifestyle habits among students. Regular physical activity provides numerous benefits, including improving physical fitness, strengthening muscles and bones, and enhancing overall body endurance. In addition, exercise is also important for maintaining students’ mental health by helping to reduce stress, anxiety, and depression, which are commonly experienced during the academic period. Health promotion programs focused on physical activity can encourage students to develop sustainable healthy lifestyle habits. Through activities such as group exercise, fitness sessions, or campus-based sports classes, students are motivated to be more physically active. These activities not only improve physical fitness but also strengthen the sense of community among students. Support from the university enables active lifestyle habits to become an integral part of students’ daily lives, thereby contributing positively to both their physical and mental well-being. The results of this community service activity showed that all participating students attended the educational sessions from start to finish, demonstrating their enthusiasm and awareness of the importance of physical activity for maintaining health.

Abstract

Nutrition labels on food packaging are an important source of information for consumers in choosing healthy and safe foods. However, the public's lack of understanding of nutrition label information leads to errors in food product selection, potentially increasing the risk of non-communicable diseases such as obesity, diabetes mellitus, and hypertension. This Community Service activity aims to increase public knowledge and awareness regarding nutrition labels on food packaging to support healthy food consumption behaviors. Implementation methods included educational outreach, interactive discussions, simulations of reading nutrition labels, and evaluation using pre- and post-tests. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in public knowledge regarding nutrition label components, serving sizes, and nutrient content of packaged food products. This education is expected to encourage the public to make wiser food choices and support efforts to prevent non-communicable diseases.

Abstract

Environmental sanitation is an important factor in maintaining public health and preventing the occurrence of environmentally related diseases. Poor sanitation can be a medium for transmitting various diseases, such as diarrhea, skin diseases, and respiratory infections. This study aims to determine the relationship between environmental sanitation and the incidence of environmentally related diseases. The study used an observational analytical design with a cross - sectional approach. The study sample consisted of 120 heads of families selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and environmental sanitation observation sheets, then analyzed using the Chi- Square test. The results showed a significant relationship between environmental sanitation and the incidence of environmentally related diseases (p < 0.05). It was concluded that poor environmental sanitation increases the risk of environmentally related diseases. Efforts to improve environmental sanitation and provide ongoing public health education are needed.
