Abstract

Desa Berahan Kulon Kec. Wedung Kab.

Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas produksi minuman herbal berbahan dasar empon-empon berbasis teknologi untuk kelompok masyarakat Industri Rumah Tangga (IRT) dusun Joso, Temboro, Karang Tengah, Kab. Wonogiri.

Abstract

Energy problems are one of the cases faced by almost all countries in the world. No longer found oil reserves in significant quantities causing problems in the energy sector. The world's energy needs continue to increase and become a global problem in the use of energy in various sectors resulting in an energy crisis. The use of waste-to-energy (WtE) technology is appropriate, considering that energy needs continue to increase along with the increasing amount of waste that is not managed and hurts the ecosystem. Refuse-derived fuel (RDF) is a waste management technique that converts waste into bio-solid fuel. RDF is produced from the mechanical separation of combustible and non-combustible fractions from waste. Utilizing RDF biomass from durian peel and sugar palm is one of the efforts to maximize the pyrolysis process in organic waste, increasing the combustion potential. Processing durian skin and sugar palm waste into RDF will maximize the potential of the combustion results, which can later facilitate testing. This study also aims to utilize sugar palm waste and durian peel to have a use value as an alternative fuel. This research was an experimental study, fast pyrolysis was employed by using 300 grams both in durian and sugar palm, and the temperature was varied from 400, 500, and 600 °C. The results showed that the test of liquid smoke RDF-5 sugar palm at a temperature of 400 °C at 112 mL and RDF-5 durian at 600 °C at 137 mL.

Abstract

Berahan Kulon Village, apart from being known as a fishing and fish farming village, also has Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) that produce herbal drinks known as Jamu Coro. Jamu Coro is made from rice flour and spices such as ginger, lemongrass, cinnamon, coconut sugar and coconut milk. This traditional drink has existed since the days of the Bintoro Sultanate and was served at meetings or events at the Demak Bintoro palace at that time. The existence of wedang herbal medicine coro is still maintained and preserved by the community. They are the conservators of herbal coro in Berahan Kulon Village by making herbal products in powder form. These MSMEs have problems with production equipment that is still completely manual and the production process is not good or hygienic. The problem is the quality of coro herbal products which are in the form of non-uniform powder. SMEs also find it difficult to develop large orders. Based on the society team at Sebelas Maret University, it intends to help SMEs Situ Jamu through the Community Partnership Program. It is hoped that it can improve the quality and quantity of herbal coro in powder form and improve the economy in Berahan Kulon. An output will be obtained in the form of appropriate technology for supporting the production of coro herbal medicine

Abstract

The revitalization of green tea production technology plays a pivotal role in fostering the enhancement of the quality and competitiveness of local products in Indonesia. Although Indonesia's green tea export earnings reached 69.01 million USD in 2023, this figure remains low compared to neighboring countries. Competitive trade in the global tea market requires improved production processing technology. This paper explains how the application of IoT-based green tea rolling technology can empower Poktan communities and align with the government's revitalization program. This community empowerment method is divided into six stages: 1). Preparation and production planning 2) Tool and Innovation Concept Development, 3) Innovation design, 4) Implementation, 5) Marketing digitalization, 6) Evaluation. This step is a breakthrough that will allow us to continue to be competitive by meeting the needs of consumers globally. Furthermore, the use of modern technology will help achieve SDG 7 (affordable and clean energy), SDG 9 (industry, innovation, and infrastructure), and SDG 13 (climate action) in the future.
