Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effects of macroeconomics fundamental factors (Inflation, Interest Rate, Currency Rate, GDP) to the financial firm performance (Cash Ratio, Return on Equity, Debt to Equity) and firm value (Tobin’s Q value). Path analysis is applied to this research. The findings of this research is all of the variables represented macroeconomics fundamental factors ; Inflation (X1), Interest Rate (X2), Currency Rate (X3), GDP (X4) does not have significant effect to the firm performance and form value. Meanwhile, from the variables represented financial firm performance ; CR (Y1), ROE (Y2), DER (Y3) Return on Equity has a significant effect to the firm value (Y4) Keywords: Macroeconomics Fundamental Factors, Financial Firm Performance, Firm Value

Abstract

This study analyses the influence of entrepreneurship education and family background on entrepreneurial interests. The sample of this study is 6th-semester students, Faculty of Economics and Business, Manado State University, who have received entrepreneurship classes. A total of fifty respondents answered the questionnaire thoroughly. Multiple linear regression tests were carried out to prove the hypothesis obtained from the review literature. Based on the research and discussion results, it can be concluded that the factor of entrepreneurship education influences interest in entrepreneurship. In contrast, the family background factor does not influence the Interest in entrepreneurship. Meanwhile, simultaneously entrepreneurial education and family background affect entrepreneurial Interest. It is undeniable that the COVID-19 pandemic had weakened the Indonesian economy, but not with Interest in entrepreneurship. Looking at the result of research that found that entrepreneurship education influences the Interest in entrepreneurship for students, it is necessary to pay more attention to lectures on entrepreneurship, and a better program can be developed. Keywords: Entrepreneurial Education, Entrepreneurial Interest, Family Background, Manado State University, Multiple Linear Regression.

Abstract

Super Priority Destinations (DSP) are one of the efforts of the Government of Indonesia through the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy to increase tourism in Indonesia. One of the DSPs is Likupang in North Minahasa Regency. Revisit Intention is the main goal of tourism managers. The purpose of this research is to look at the factors that influence Revisit Intention at the Likupang DSP. From the results of multiple regression analysis, it is obtained that Customer Experience and Social Media Marketing have a significant influence on Revisit Intention. Tourism managers, in this case the Provincial and Regency Governments and related agencies, need to pay attention to the experiences that can be obtained by tourists, as well as maximize Social Media as an effective marketing tool to increase Revisit Intention to Likupang Super Priority Destinations.

Abstract

In the current business landscape, effective management of a company's financial strategy is paramount for sustainable growth, with a particular emphasis on optimizing the capital structure to fulfill the funding requirements of day-to-day operations. This research investigates how the capital structure influences the financial performance of non-bank financial institutions listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the year 2022. The study focuses on two key dependent variables: the return on assets ratio and the return on equity ratio. The independent variables, represented by the capital structure, encompass the debt-to-assets ratio and the debt-to-equity ratio. The results obtained through regression analysis of the data unveil a significant negative impact of the capital structure on financial performance, particularly affecting the return on equity. These findings underscore the importance of non-bank financial institutions exercising caution when managing capital resources secured through debt financing. Excessive reliance on debt within the company's capital structure could potentially elevate financial burdens, ultimately leading to a reduction in overall profitability. Consequently, prudent capital management practices are recommended to maintain financial stability and bolster long-term prosperity.

Abstract

Pariwisata memainkan peran penting dalam pembangunan berkelanjutan, dan Indonesia, dengan sumber daya alam dan budayanya yang beragam, memiliki potensi besar. Likupang, salah satu Destinasi Pariwisata Super Prioritas (SPTD), membutuhkan identitas merek destinasi yang lebih kuat untuk meningkatkan daya saingnya. Studi ini mengkaji elemen-elemen kunci yang membentuk identitas Likupang, berdasarkan ulasan wisatawan dari Google Reviews, yang dianalisis menggunakan analisis konten kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa identitas Likupang sangat terkait dengan keindahan alam, keramahtamahan lokal, dan potensi ekowisata berkelanjutan, sementara tantangan tetap ada dalam infrastruktur dan aksesibilitas. Temuan ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya strategi branding berbasis pengalaman dalam meningkatkan posisi Likupang baik secara nasional maupun internasional, memberikan kontribusi teoretis untuk studi Identitas Merek Destinasi dan wawasan praktis untuk manajemen destinasi.

Abstract

Sustainable tourism has become a central theme in destination development worldwide, driven by increasing awareness of tourism’s environmental, social, and cultural impacts. Within this context, Destination Brand Identity (DBI) plays a crucial role in shaping tourist perceptions and enhancing the long-term competitiveness of destinations. This study presents a systematic literature review using a qualitative approach aimed at examining the contribution of DBI to sustainable tourism destinations. A total of 20 peer-reviewed articles published over the past decade were critically analyzed, focusing on five core themes: (1) DBI dimensions that support sustainability; (2) the role of DBI in enhancing destination sustainability; (3) the integration of DBI with sustainable branding practices; (4) community engagement and local representation in DBI formation; and (5) methodological developments in DBI and sustainable tourism studies. The findings are expected to enrich the academic discourse on DBI and provide practical insights for sustainable destination management.

Abstract

Kelurahan Tataaran 2 Kecamatan Tondano Selatan Kabupaten Minahasa sering bermasalah dengan bencana banjir terutama ketika musim hujan. Pengelolaan sampah plastik yang kurang tepat adalah penyebab desa ini menjadi langganan banjir. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk memberikan penyuluhan dan pelatihan kepada masyarakat untuk melakukan pengelolaan sampah yang tepat dan sekaligus menghasilkan kerajinan tangan yang komersil dari hasil daur ulang sampah yaitu dengan membuat bantal hasil olahan sampah plastik. Melalui hasil koordinasi dengan pemerintah dan masyarakat setempat serta persiapan bahan yang sangat sederhana yaitu sampah plastik serta gunting. Pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan dapat memberikan pengetahuan kepada ibu-ibu PKK sehingga mereka bisa mengetahui cara pembuatan bantal dengan bahan utama sampah plastik. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya mengurangi pembuangan sampah plastik yang berlebihan tapi dapat memberikan nilai tambah secara komersil bagi masyarakat setempat yang dapat menjual hasil kerajinan tangan mereka untuk menambah penghasilan rumah tangga.

Abstract

Keberhasilan pembagunan yang ada di suatu negara atau daerah bisa tercermin dari pertumbuhan ekonomi yang tinggi, dalam mendorong pembagunan sendiri pemerintah berupaya meningkatkan belanja pemerintah yang di harapkan dapat mendorong perputaran ekonomi yang ada di daerah untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi dan mensejahtrakan masyarakat. Peningkatan belanja pemerintah khususnya yang ada di daerah, seharusnya berdampak pada pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal. terutama di kabupaten Minahasa. Oleh sebab itu dalam penelitian ini akan menguji pengaruh dari belanja pemerintah terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi yang ada di kabupaten Minahasa. Data yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu data pertumbuhan ekonomi dan belanja pemerintah yang ada di kabupaten Minahasa, Selanjutnya, dalam analisis ini, digunakan metode regresi linier sederhana dengan eviews 12. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun pengaruh belanja pemerintah terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi tidak signifikan, hubungan antara belanja pemerintah dan pertumbuhan ekonomi memiliki hubungan yang positif. Hal ini di sebabkan karena belanja yang di alokasikan oleh pemerintah masih banyak bersifat investasi misalnya di bidang infrastruktur yang dampak nya tidak langsung di rasakan pada waktu sekarang namun dalam jangka waktu yang panjang. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membantu penulisan lebih lanjut tentang hubungan antara Belanja Pemerintah dan Pertumbuhan Ekonomi di Kabupaten Minahasa dan juga untuk pemerintah daerah setempat dalam hal pengambilan kebijakan. The success of development in a country or region can be reflected in high economic growth. In encouraging its own development, the government is trying to increase government spending, which is expected to encourage economic turnover in the region, increase economic growth, and improve community welfare. High government spending should be able to influence economic growth in the region, especially in Minahasa district. For this reason, the present study will minimize the impact of government policy on economic growth in the province of Minahasa. The data used in this study are the economic and government data available in the province of Minahasa. Subsequently, the analysis in this study employs the method of regression line analysis using eviews 12.. The research results show that government spending and economic growth have a positive relationship, but the influence of government spending on economic growth does not have a significant effect. This is because the spending allocated by the government is still largely investment in nature, for example, in the infrastructure sector, the impact of which is not immediately felt now but over a long period of time. It is hoped that this research can contribute to developing literature related to government expenditures on economic growth in Minahasa Regency.

Abstract

Mahzani Fest 2023 organized by Universitas Negeri Manado, the result of collaboration between the Student Executive Board and Creative Batamang, was successfully held on October 14 2023, at the UNIMA Rectorate Square. A qualitative interview study, with students as respondents, was carried out to determine the factors that shape the event image, level of satisfaction, as well as future behavioral intentions towards Mahzani Fest 2023. Through the research carried out, it is hoped that it can provide information – important information for the organizer, Universitas Negeri Manado, for the next Mahzani Fest event.
