Abstract

Abstrak: Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dalam sudut pandang Kurikulum 2013 sebagai kurikulum baru pengganti kurikulum 2006 (KTSP). Kajian dalam tulisan ini menggunakan metode kajian pustaka dari sumber-sumber primer. Sumber data berupa dokumen. Analisis difokuskan pada upaya menemukan, mengidentifikasi, dan menganalisis secara kritis unsurunsur penting dalam dokumen kurikulum 2013 yang dikaitkan dengan kajian dari beberapa litaratur yang relevan. Dari berbagai dokumen yang dianalisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa dalam Kurikulum 2013 terdapat beberapa perubahan, salah satu yang terkait dengan peran Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi adalah dihapusnya mata pelajaran TIK dan sebagai penggantinya TIK menjadi alat bantu guru dalam proses pembelajaran pada semua mata pelajaran. Hal ini berimplikasi pada pentingnya penguasaan TIK oleh guru. Bila proses pembelajaran dilakukan berbantukan TIK, maka diyakini akan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Abstract: This paper aims to examine the role of Information and Communication Technology in improving the quality of learning in the perspective of Curriculum 2013 as a new curriculum replacing the 2006 curriculum (KTSP). The study in this paper uses a literature review method from primary sources. Data source in the form of documents. The analysis is focused on efforts to find, identify, and critically analyze important elements in the 2013 curriculum documents that are linked to studies of several relevant literatures. From various documents analyzed, it can be concluded that in the 2013 Curriculum there were a number of changes, one of which was related to the role of Information and Communication Technology was the elimination of ICT subjects and as a substitute ICT became the teacher's aid in the learning process on all subjects. This has implications for the importance of mastering ICT by teachers. When the learning process is carried out assisted by ICT, it is believed that it will improve the quality of learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the improvement in the quality of utilizing the Merdeka Mengajar Platform (PMM) to support the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in independent educational units. PMM is a learning platform designed to facilitate teachers and schools in optimizing competency-based learning processes. The study was conducted in the West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Province, covering ten districts/cities: Kota Mataram, Kota Bima, Kabupaten Lombok Barat, Kabupaten Lombok Timur, Kabupaten Lombok Utara, Kabupaten Lombok Tengah, Kabupaten Sumbawa, Kabupaten Sumbawa Barat, Kabupaten Dompu, and Kabupaten Bima. The research was carried out from February 2024 to November 2024. Using a descriptive quantitative approach, data were collected through surveys, interviews, and document analysis from 6,495 educational units implementing the Merdeka Curriculum. The sample was selected using stratified random sampling, involving 650 educational units to ensure representation across various educational levels and geographic locations.The results show that 76.5% of independent educational units actively utilize PMM, particularly in improving student learning progress and using teaching tools. Supporting factors include continuous training, school leadership support, and the active involvement of teachers in integrating PMM into lesson plans. However, challenges such as limited internet access in remote areas remain significant obstacles. Additionally, the study found that the establishment of learning communities, both within schools and between schools, has been a notable achievement, although mentoring and the role of school supervisors in optimizing these communities need further improvement.This study concludes that the optimal use of PMM can support the successful implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, especially in enhancing the quality of teaching and student learning outcomes. Key recommendations include strengthening educational technology infrastructure, developing offline tools, providing continuous teacher training, and optimizing mentoring for learning communities and the role of school supervisors to ensure the sustainability of this program.

Abstract

This study discusses the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka as a strategic step to strengthen literacy skills in early grades at Elementary Schools. The research aims to investigate and analyze the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka, identify potential challenges, and evaluate its impact on strengthening literacy skills of students in elementary schools. The research method employed a qualitative approach with a focus on the experiences of students, teachers, and school principals. The study took place in 20 elementary schools across 4 districts implementing the Kurikulum Merdeka in Central Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara. Data collection involved interviews and observations of the implementation of initial assessments and differentiated learning, which are integral parts of the Kurikulum Merdeka. The findings reveal that the majority of teachers have conducted initial assessments in accordance with Kurikulum Merdeka procedures. Although there are challenges related to the understanding of guidelines by a small percentage of teachers, there are strong indications of a shift in their mindset regarding the importance of assessments. Differentiated learning is implemented in various ways, with students experiencing its benefits, including improved literacy skills. Schools also have data-based literacy reinforcement programs to support the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka. The conclusion of this study is that the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka in terms of assessment and differentiated learning has a positive impact, including the potential to enhance students' literacy skills. Despite challenges, continuous efforts are being made to improve the quality of learning and literacy achievements of students. The results of this research provide valuable insights for education practitioners and policymakers to continually enhance the effectiveness of the Kurikulum Merdeka in shaping a smart and competitive younger generation in the current era and the future.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat penguasaan keterampilan sholat dan membaca Al-Qur'an pada siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar (SD) di Kabupaten Lombok Utara. Keterampilan sholat dan membaca Al-Qur'an merupakan kompetensi dasar yang harus dikuasai oleh setiap siswa muslim, namun berbagai laporan menunjukkan bahwa masih banyak siswa yang mengalami kesulitan dalam menguasai kedua keterampilan tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif, melibatkan 777 siswa dari 30 SD yang tersebar di lima kecamatan di Kabupaten Lombok Utara. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan  stratified random sampling  untuk memastikan representasi yang seimbang dari berbagai tingkat kualitas sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 62% siswa sudah lancar dalam melaksanakan sholat, sementara 38% masih mengalami kesulitan. Untuk keterampilan membaca Al-Qur'an, 53% siswa mampu membaca dengan lancar, sedangkan 47% masih mengalami kesulitan, terutama dalam aspek tajwid dan kelancaran bacaan. Tidak ditemukan perbedaan yang signifikan dalam kemampuan sholat dan membaca Al-Qur'an antara siswa di sekolah tingkat atas, menengah, dan bawah, yang mengindikasikan bahwa faktor lingkungan keluarga dan keikutsertaan siswa dalam Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur'an (TPQ) memiliki pengaruh yang lebih besar. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan guru, keterbatasan waktu pembelajaran agama di sekolah dan kurangnya praktik langsung menjadi faktor utama rendahnya keterampilan ibadah siswa. Keikutsertaan siswa dalam TPQ terbukti secara signifikan meningkatkan kemampuan mereka dalam sholat dan membaca Al-Qur'an. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini merekomendasikan peningkatan metode pembelajaran berbasis praktik, kolaborasi antara sekolah dan TPQ, serta pelibatan orang tua dalam membimbing anak di rumah. Selain itu, diperlukan evaluasi berkala oleh pemerintah daerah untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran agama di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the cognitive development of children aged 5-6 years at TK Anak Ceria Tembobor. The number of subjects was 20 children. This research is a class action research. The data that has been collected is analyzed by observation, interview and documentation techniques, using classical and personal / individual completeness formulas. The result of this study is that using outbound activities can improve the cognitive development of children aged 5-6 years at Anak Ceria Tembobor Kindergarten. This is evidenced by the cognitive improvement data obtained by children has increased, starting from the data before the implementation of the action until the implementation of cycle II action. Before the implementation of the completed as many as 2 people with a percentage of 20%. in cycle I got a complete child, namely 5 children with a percentage of 50%. and at the end of cycle II action obtained significant action, namely 9 children with a percentage of 90% cognitive improvement. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research. Classroom action research is defined as a practical research to improve learning in the classroom, by taking action to find solutions to problems faced daily in the classroom. So that in essence the implementation of class action research is carried out in order for teachers to be willing to introspect, reflect, reflect or evaluate themselves on their own.  Keywords: Cognitive, Outbound activities,  Early Childhood

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesiapan guru dalam mengimplementasikan asesmen diagnostik pada Kurikulum Merdeka. Studi ini dilakukan di sekolah dasar se Kecamatan Tanjung dengan mengambil sampel secara purposive. Secara spesifik, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesiapan guru dalam mengimplementasikan asesmen diagnostic sebagai salah satu bagian penting dalam Kurikulum Merdeka. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan jenis studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan secara online melalui google form, dan secara ofline dengan teknik dokumentasi, dan wawancara mendalam kepada kepala sekolah dan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) Pada aspek kesiapan guru dalam menggunakan asesmen diagnostik, hasil penelitian menunjukan; (a) 63,64% guru sudah mengetahui asesmen diagnostik; (b) 45,45% guru pernah melakukan asesmen diagnostik; (c) 40,91% guru belum memahami dengan baik dan merasa belum pernah melakukan asesmen diagnostik; dan (d) 77,27% guru tidak pernah mengikuti sosialisasi atau pelatihan terkait asesmen diagnostik. Merujuk pada data-data yang ditemukan di lapangan dapat diketahui bahwa guru-guru di SD Kecamatan Tanjung belum siap menggunakan asesmen diagnostic. Guru-guru masih memerlukan sosialisasi dan pelatihan tentang asesmen diagnostic. Adapun pada aspek kesiapan guru dalam menerapkan kurikulum Merdeka, dari data yang terkumpul dapat diketahui bahwa ; (a) 90,91% guru mengetahui tentang kurikulum merdeka; (b) 68,18% guru mendapatkan informasi tentang kurikulum merdeka dari media sosial; (c) 59,09% guru masih ragu mengimplementasikan kurikulum merdeka pada semester berikutnya. Hasil kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa guru SD di Kecamatan Tajung masih ragu untuk menerapkan Kurikulum Merdeka, lebih disebabkan kurangnya pemahaman guru dan belum adanya sosialisasi secara khusus kepada guru-guru SD di Kecamatan Tanjung terkait Kurkulum Merdeka. Temuan penelitian ini diperkuat oleh pernyataan Dinas Pendidikan Kebudayaan Pemuda dan Olahraga Kabupaten Lombok Utara yang menyatakan bahwa sosialisasi implementasi Kurikulum Meredeka belum dilakukan secara optimal sehingga dianggap wajar bila guru-guru belum cukup siap untuk mengimplementasikan Kurikulum Merdeka pada tahun pelajaran berikutnya.

Abstract

This research is a quantitative study to determine the effect of the SAS (Synthetic Structural Analytical) method to improve the vocabulary mastery abilities of class I students in elementary schools in the 2023/2024 academic year. Tebayak Hamlet, Tegal Maja Village, Tanjung District, North Lombok Regency. In this type of quantitative research, the pretest approach uses a single group pretest and posttest design. The collection technique used by researchers is pretest and also uses observation, interviews and instrument tests, which shows students' ability to master vocabulary.This is proven by the average pre-test score of 53.5% while the post-test average is 76.0%. Likewise, the results of the calculations obtained are t calculated at 12.795 > t table 0.444 with a significance of 5%, thus t calculated > t table, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the SAS (Synthetic Structural Analytical) method to improve students' vocabulary mastery abilities. class I in elementary school.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to analyze the steps taken by teachers in implementing clay media to enhance the creativity of children aged 5–6 years during the teaching and learning process at PAUD Bintang Nahdlatu Wathan in the 2024/2025 academic year. The research was conducted at PAUD Bintang Nahdlatu Wathan, Group B, with a total of 18 students.This study is a descriptive qualitative research using a case study approach. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. Information was gathered from the homeroom teacher, the principal, and the students. The data analysis techniques used in this study are: (1) data condensation, (2) data display, and (3) conclusion drawing.The results of the study indicate that the implementation of clay media was carried out through four main stages: (1) preparation, (2) opening activities, (3) core activities, and (4) closing activities, supported by methods such as play, demonstration, experimentation, question and answer, and storytelling. The teacher acted as a facilitator, guiding the children through the learning process.The use of clay media proved effective in developing children's creativity. Through direct engagement with concrete media, children were able to explore, imagine, and dare to try without fear of making mistakes. In addition to fostering creativity, the media also supported the development of fine motor skills, cognitive abilities, emotional growth, and social skills. These findings indicate that clay-based learning not only stimulates creativity but also provides holistic benefits for early childhood development.
