Abstract

This study aims to improve the ability of students in extracurricular programs to improve the social competence of students in primary schools. In this study, the traditional game to be played is a common game performed by the people in the area around the school, the game of fort and selodor. Both types of traditional games are assumed to have a social interest because it is done in groups that require cooperation. The experimental design used in this study was to design the pretest-posttest control group design, ie experimental design divided into experimental and control groups. Data analysis techniques in this study divided into two stages, the first stage uses the Wilcoxon test, the second stage of the Mann-Withney U Test. The subjects of this study were 40 elementary students in North Lombok Regency divided into two groups, namely 20 people in SD Negeri 4 Gondang as an experimental class and 20 students in SD Negeri 1 Rempek as control class. The social competence in this study is measured by using the scale of social competence. The results of this study were (1) There is a significant difference in social competence in the experimental group between before and after being treated; (2) There were significant differences in social competence between the experimental group and the control group after being treated

Abstract

This study aims to obtain teacher perceptions about the impact of the implementation of the Learning from Home policy according to a circular from the Minister of Education and Culture dated March 24, 2020, which regulates the implementation of education during the coronavirus spread. The research method uses exploratory case studies, the research approach uses qualitative case study methods which are used to obtain information about the effectiveness of the learning process from home during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research was conducted in June 2020. Respondents of this study were 20 elementary school teachers spread across five districts in North Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara. Respondents were drawn from each elementary school teacher spread over five districts. The data of this study were sourced from the results of questionnaire and interview answers developed based on a review of relevant literature. All respondents filled out a research questionnaire online through the Google forms application, then the questionnaire was confirmed via telephone interview. The results of this study conclude that learning policies from home during the Covid-19 pandemic period according to teacher perceptions have not been implemented well and according to teacher observations, only 25% of students actually carry out learning from home. As many as 60% of teachers feel that their burden becomes heavier when compared to the learning process that has been carried out in classi fi cation or face-to-face and 65% of teachers state that they need additional skills to be able to carry out the learning process from home.

Abstract

Hasil studi menggunakan EGRA (Early Grade Reading Assessment) yang dilakukan oleh program Inovasi di kabupaten Lombok Utara yang dipublikasi pada September 2017 menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan membaca peserta didik untuk kelas dua sekolah dasar masih tergolong rendah. Dari 698 peserta didik yang dijadikan sample, diketahui baru 31,1 % yang mengenal huruf, 22,2% lancar membaca dan hanya 19,5% peserta didik yang memahami apa yang dibaca. Kondisi ini paling tidak mencerminkan masih rendahnya mutu pendidikan di Nusa Tenggara Barat dan umumnya di Indonesia, sekaligus memperkuat temuan hasil studi lembaga-lembaga internasional seperti PISA dan TIMMS. Bila ditelusuri lebih mendalam, diketahui ada beragam faktor yang menyebabkan masih rendahnya mutu pendidikan di Kabupaten Lombok Utara, salah satunya adalah terkait kemampuan guru dalam memilih dan menggunakan media pembelajaran. Dari hasil observasi awal dan wawancara dengan beberapa orang guru yang dipilih secara acak diketahui bahwa sebagian besar guru masih menggunakan strategi pembelajaran yang monoton dan kurang kreatif dalam memilih media pembelajaran sesuai dengan perkembangan siswa. Berangkat dari kondisi tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keefektifan media Big Book terhadap keterampilan membaca bagi siswa kelas awal sekolah dasar di kabupaten Lombok Utara. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan kuasi eksperimen atau eksperimen semu dengan desain the nonrandomized control group, pretest–posttest. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua kelompok kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Kelas eksperimen adalah kelas yang diberikan perlakuan pembelajaran menggunakan media Big Book, sementara kelas kontrol adalah kelas yang tidak menggunakan media Big Book sebagai media pembelajaran. Subyek penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas II SDN 2 Tanjung Kabupaten Lombok Utara yang terbagi dalam dua kelas yaitu kelas II A dan II B yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa media Big Book dapat meningkatkan keterampilan membaca siswa. Hasil penelitian ini memperkuat temuan-temuan penelitian sebelumnya bahwa media Big Book dapat dengan efektif meningkatkan keterampilan membaca siswa terutama bagi siswa kelas awal.

Abstract

Kurikulum Merdeka merupakan upaya pemerintah untuk memperbaiki kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia melalui pendekatan pembelajaran yang lebih fleksibel dan kreatif. Salah satu strategi pembelajaran yang disarankan dalam Kurikulum Merdeka adalah pembelajaran berdiferensiasi, yaitu pembelajaran yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan dan kemampuan peserta didik secara individual. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan tinjauan literatur tentang penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi di sekolah dasar dalam implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka. Metode kajian studi literatur digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dari sumber-sumber tertulis seperti jurnal, buku, laporan, dan dokumen lainnya. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dalam konteks Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di sekolah dasar, secara konseptual dengan merujuk sumber-sumber yang relevan diduga kuat dapat memberikan manfaat yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar dan motivasi belajar peserta didik. Namun demikian, bahwa untuk mendapatkan hasil pembelajaran berdiferensiasi yang optimal maka dalam penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi memerlukan persiapan dan penyesuaian yang matang dari kepala sekolah dan guru, termasuk pemahaman terhadap karakteristik peserta didik, penggunaan teknologi, serta perencanaan pembelajaran yang berfokus pada hasil yang diharapkan. Kurikulum Merdeka memberikan ruang dan peluang yang cukup besar bagi guru dan kepala sekolah untuk mengorganisir pembelajaran yang berfokus pada keberagaman peserta didik melalui pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Diharapkan hasil kajian literatur tentang penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi ini dapat memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik terutama bagi guru, kepala sekolah dan stakeholder Pendidikan lainnya di sekolah dasar dalam konteks Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka dan menjadi bahan referensi bagi para pendidik dan peneliti di bidang pendidikan.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dalam sudut pandang Kurikulum 2013 sebagai kurikulum baru pengganti kurikulum 2006 (KTSP). Kajian dalam tulisan ini menggunakan metode kajian pustaka dari sumber-sumber primer. Sumber data berupa dokumen. Analisis difokuskan pada upaya menemukan, mengidentifikasi, dan menganalisis secara kritis unsurunsur penting dalam dokumen kurikulum 2013 yang dikaitkan dengan kajian dari beberapa litaratur yang relevan. Dari berbagai dokumen yang dianalisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa dalam Kurikulum 2013 terdapat beberapa perubahan, salah satu yang terkait dengan peran Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi adalah dihapusnya mata pelajaran TIK dan sebagai penggantinya TIK menjadi alat bantu guru dalam proses pembelajaran pada semua mata pelajaran. Hal ini berimplikasi pada pentingnya penguasaan TIK oleh guru. Bila proses pembelajaran dilakukan berbantukan TIK, maka diyakini akan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Abstract: This paper aims to examine the role of Information and Communication Technology in improving the quality of learning in the perspective of Curriculum 2013 as a new curriculum replacing the 2006 curriculum (KTSP). The study in this paper uses a literature review method from primary sources. Data source in the form of documents. The analysis is focused on efforts to find, identify, and critically analyze important elements in the 2013 curriculum documents that are linked to studies of several relevant literatures. From various documents analyzed, it can be concluded that in the 2013 Curriculum there were a number of changes, one of which was related to the role of Information and Communication Technology was the elimination of ICT subjects and as a substitute ICT became the teacher's aid in the learning process on all subjects. This has implications for the importance of mastering ICT by teachers. When the learning process is carried out assisted by ICT, it is believed that it will improve the quality of learning.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the implementation of the project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students (P5) in the independent curriculum for class II students at SDN 3 Tanjung and to find out the inhibiting factors for the project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students (P5) for class II students at SDN 3 Tanjung. The population in this study was 30 people, namely class II students at SDN 3 Tanjung. The instruments used in this research were interviews, observation and documentation. The method used is a descriptive qualitative method. The results of this research show that in implementing the project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students (P5) in class II at SDN 3 Tanjung, there were several obstacles during the implementation of the P5 project, including, 1) Students lacked focus, 2) Lack of teacher understanding about the P5 project , 3) Lack of time to implement P5. Students have been categorized as creative, because students have ideas and discover new things when implementing the project to strengthen the Pancasila student profile (P5).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze ADAB Project learning as a means of mastering the collaboration skills of students of SDN 7 Juara Barat for the 2023/2024 academic year. This research was carried out in grade 4 of SDN 7 Juara Barat with a total of 23 students. This study uses qualitative research with a case study approach, data collection techniques are carried out by means of observation, interviews and documentation. Data sources were obtained from school principals, classroom teachers and students of SDN 7 Juara Barat. The data analysis technique in this study was carried out in three stages, namely 1) data condensation, 2) data display, and 3) conclusion drawing or verification, while the validity of the data was verified through triangulation techniques and source triangulation. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa dalam proses pembelajaran, ada 3 tahapan yang dilakukan oleh guru yaitu Tahap perencanaan, pelaksnanaan dan evaluasi. Pada Tahap perencanaan meliputi menentukan materi pembelajaran yang akan di ADAB Project-kan, mengkaji karaktristik siswa, Menyusun rancangan pelaksanaan pembelajaran ADAB Project (RPP ADAB Project), merumuskan tujuan pembelajaran, menentukan jadwal pelaksanaan pembelajaran ADAB Project, menyiapkan sumber belajar dan lembar kerja siswa (LKPD) dan Menyusun alat penilaian/evaluasi. Pada Tahap pelaksanaan ialah penerapan pembelajaran ADAB Project sesuai dengan tahapan-tahapan pembelajaran ADAB Project. There are four stages of the ADAB Project, namely asking questions, assisting with investigations, inviting work and sharing results. Meanwhile, at the evaluation stage, teachers conduct assessments, the aspects that are assessed are attitudes and products. The supporting factors for ADAB Project learning include teachers' ability to implement ADAB Project learning, student enthusiasm, adequate facilities, and the availability of learning resources. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors for learning the ADAB Project come from students, namely 4th grade students who are still in the transition stage from low to high grades, so they need more control so that the classroom atmosphere remains conducive. In addition, the inhibiting factor for the implementation of ADAB Project learning is time limitations and requires costs. As for the impact of ADAB Project learning on students' collaboration skills, ADAB Project learning can improve and develop students' collaboration skills, this can be seen from students' ability to work together, responsibility to complete projects, ability to establish communication and ability to make agreements through compromise, overall these skills are very good.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the improvement in the quality of utilizing the Merdeka Mengajar Platform (PMM) to support the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in independent educational units. PMM is a learning platform designed to facilitate teachers and schools in optimizing competency-based learning processes. The study was conducted in the West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Province, covering ten districts/cities: Kota Mataram, Kota Bima, Kabupaten Lombok Barat, Kabupaten Lombok Timur, Kabupaten Lombok Utara, Kabupaten Lombok Tengah, Kabupaten Sumbawa, Kabupaten Sumbawa Barat, Kabupaten Dompu, and Kabupaten Bima. The research was carried out from February 2024 to November 2024. Using a descriptive quantitative approach, data were collected through surveys, interviews, and document analysis from 6,495 educational units implementing the Merdeka Curriculum. The sample was selected using stratified random sampling, involving 650 educational units to ensure representation across various educational levels and geographic locations.The results show that 76.5% of independent educational units actively utilize PMM, particularly in improving student learning progress and using teaching tools. Supporting factors include continuous training, school leadership support, and the active involvement of teachers in integrating PMM into lesson plans. However, challenges such as limited internet access in remote areas remain significant obstacles. Additionally, the study found that the establishment of learning communities, both within schools and between schools, has been a notable achievement, although mentoring and the role of school supervisors in optimizing these communities need further improvement.This study concludes that the optimal use of PMM can support the successful implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, especially in enhancing the quality of teaching and student learning outcomes. Key recommendations include strengthening educational technology infrastructure, developing offline tools, providing continuous teacher training, and optimizing mentoring for learning communities and the role of school supervisors to ensure the sustainability of this program.

Abstract

This study discusses the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka as a strategic step to strengthen literacy skills in early grades at Elementary Schools. The research aims to investigate and analyze the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka, identify potential challenges, and evaluate its impact on strengthening literacy skills of students in elementary schools. The research method employed a qualitative approach with a focus on the experiences of students, teachers, and school principals. The study took place in 20 elementary schools across 4 districts implementing the Kurikulum Merdeka in Central Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara. Data collection involved interviews and observations of the implementation of initial assessments and differentiated learning, which are integral parts of the Kurikulum Merdeka. The findings reveal that the majority of teachers have conducted initial assessments in accordance with Kurikulum Merdeka procedures. Although there are challenges related to the understanding of guidelines by a small percentage of teachers, there are strong indications of a shift in their mindset regarding the importance of assessments. Differentiated learning is implemented in various ways, with students experiencing its benefits, including improved literacy skills. Schools also have data-based literacy reinforcement programs to support the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka. The conclusion of this study is that the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka in terms of assessment and differentiated learning has a positive impact, including the potential to enhance students' literacy skills. Despite challenges, continuous efforts are being made to improve the quality of learning and literacy achievements of students. The results of this research provide valuable insights for education practitioners and policymakers to continually enhance the effectiveness of the Kurikulum Merdeka in shaping a smart and competitive younger generation in the current era and the future.
