Abstract

This research is aimed to identify learning management of Ihya Ulumiddin Islamic Boarding School. The Boarding school is under the management of Darusallam of Lirboyo. This research design is descriptive qualitative while the data collection method uses are observation, interview and documentation. The stage of teaching plan is done by formulating and analyzing the materials thought. The teacher prepares the materials with mudzakaroh and determines the homeroom teacher. The teaching process is begun by reading nadzhoman together, rois amm of the captain of the class leads and repeats the previous lesson before stating the new lesson, the teacher give time for the students to memorize the materials before presenting it to the teacher. Beside memorizing and musyawaroh, the evaluation stage is done by doing murojaah, a repeating of previous explanation. Students present the result of memorizing based on the schedule given by the homeroom teacher. Sorogan is applied in reading the books which have been meant by the teacher in the previous meeting. The students also answer the questions from the teacher dealing with previous book read. The last point of the management is recruiting the alumni for replacing the teacher who comes home to do the teacher’s jobs as mentioned.

Abstract

Karya tulis memiliki peran penting mengangkat peradaban bangsa yang merupakan jembatan antara masa lampau dengan masa sekarang dan jembatan antara orang sekarang dengan orang masa depan. Minimnya kemampuan menulis santri di pondok pesantren menjadi persoalan tersendiri, banyak santri mengaji dan membaca kitab kuning yang ditulis ulama terdahulu, namun santri bahkan kyai belum banyak menghasilkan karya-karya melalui tulisan. Melalui kegiatan pengembangan kreatifitas menulis, santri diharapkan dapat menghasilkan karya tulis yang bisa dipublikasikan melalui berbagai media untuk menjawab tantangan perkembangan zaman. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif menjelaskan pengembangan kreativitas menulis santri dipondok pesantren. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi kemudian data diolah dan dianalisis melalui reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi data. Rendahnya kreatifitas menulis santri disebabkan kurangnya arahan dan bimbingan, kurang memahami konsep kaidah penulisan, terbiasa dengan sesuatu yang instan termasuk padatnya kegiatan pondok. Dengan memfasilitasi media cetak dan online sebagai sarana menyalurkan kreatifitas santri juga memberikan kegiatan ngaji jurnalistik secara berkelanjutan santri diharapkan menumbuhkan potensi menulis yang dimiliki.

Abstract

Parent plays an important role in children social and emotional development. Most of the parents lay the students education and taking care of the Islamic boarding school from an early age. Children who live in the boarding have a demanding schedule from memorizing, studying and Islamic practices continually in a long period. This could lead the children to a psychological problem. This research is aimed to know the psychology condition of the children who lived in a boarding house since early age troubled in social and emotional development. The research design and approach is descriptive qualitative. The research setting is Hidayatul Muta'alimin Islamic boarding School Gurah Kabupaten Kediri. Most of the students are children and the advanced program is tahfidz Al-Qur'an. The data sampling is the interview, observation, and some school documents. The research finding shows that no serious psychological problem for children. The social-emotional development of the children is also fine. It is caused by a friendly environment for the children and a free hand of playing on the spare time makes them away from feeling lonely, bored and they are also cheerful although live away from their parents. Moreover, the school management gives an example of how to interact socially to the students in the boarding school.

Abstract

Pesantren-based Vocational Schools are educational institutions with advantages expected to have intellectual, skilful graduates ready to work and uphold morality. This study aims to determine how self-esteem affects the future optimism of Pesantren-based vocational high school students. The study used quantitative methods with a sample of 50 students of SMK Al-Mahrusiyah Pondok Pesantren Lirboyo. Random sampling technique with simple regression analysis. The results showed an influence between self-esteem and optimism of 12.2% with a significance of 0.013, meaning that there was a significant contribution of self-esteem and optimism for the future of SMK Al-Mahrusiyah students. The self-esteem level of SMK Al Mahrusiyah students, the majority of students are at a moderate level of self-esteem of 64%, some others have high self-esteem of 20%, and a smaller portion has a low level of self-esteem of 16%.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to understand the role of foster carers in providing education and guidance that can increase the independence of students at the Darussa'adah Lirboyo Islamic boarding school in social, emotional and religious aspects. In addition, it identifies environmental factors, parents and foster carers that can influence the level of independence of students, so that necessary corrective steps can be identified. This research uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach. The data taken involved foster carers, students, and the administrator of the Darussa'adah Lirboyo Islamic boarding school as primary data sources. Data collection will be carried out through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation studies. The research results show that the role of foster carers in educating and fostering the independence of students at the Darussa'adah Lirboyo Islamic boarding school is very significant. Foster guardians have an important role in accompanying and guiding every aspect of the students' daily lives, including religious practices, study activities and extracurricular activities. They act as substitute parental figures in Islamic boarding schools and provide good examples through positive behavior and advice. In education and fostering independence, foster carers train students to be independent in terms of personal hygiene, time management and responsibility. They also provide encouragement, motivation and enthusiasm to students in facing various challenges, thereby increasing students' self-confidence and enthusiasm for learning.

Abstract

Reading is the capital key in progressing a nation, therefore, interest in reading must be grown in the community from an early age. Reading park community is an ideal place as an idea to play, learning and development of reading interest. Therefore, the introduction of reading park community in children from an early age discourse that presents books to children is one way to foster interest in reading for children. By growth habit of reading can boost the quality life-style, creativity, independence, struggle effort, and competitiveness next time. That reading park community can be a medium in promoting interest in reading for early childhood do several activities, namely: activities cooking contest, a bazaar of books and used clothing, drawing, coloring contest, reading stories and storytelling, training reading stories and storytelling for parents. In addition, there is a series of structuring reading park community for example, the addition of facilities and infrastructure, adding books to children, reading the management of park management system, organizing Reading Park, the design of the room. Such steps undertaken to encourage children and parents to come to the park to read, with their coming in the park to read, they know that there are many sources of interesting reading, with their interest in books and other reading materials are expected to encourage children to love reading

Abstract

The present religious presence is required to be active in solving the problems and challenges facing its adherents. The position and role of religion is not only a symbol of piety but can play a role in solving the existing problems. The psychological approach in Islamic studies has a significant role to explain the outward symptoms of religious people. Armed with psychological theories will be easy to know the level of religion that is understood, lived and practiced by someone. The cognitive theory of religion is able to provide answers related to the limitations beyond human capabilities. In addition, religious-based psychotherapy is one concept of psychotherapy in the perspective of Islam that can be used as a therapy to cure various diseases both physical and mental disorders.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to identify the Islamic Education implementation in the field of shaping students’ religious characters applies in PGRI Vocational School of Kediri 2. The research design is descriptive qualitative and the approach applied is based on the design. The techniques of collecting data are observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis is a qualitative descriptive analysis technique. The result of the research indicates that the religious character process is done from the start of the class to the end each day.

Abstract

This study aims to describe learning innovations based on seTARA daring at (Community Learning Activity Center) PKBM Sunan Kalijaga Lirboyo Kediri, which includes planning, implementation, and evaluation stages, including identifying supporting and inhibiting factors and improvement efforts made. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study. In-depth interviews with leaders, teachers/tutors, and students, as well as observations of the learning process and online classes, were used to gain an in-depth understanding of experiences in the educational environment. Supporting data were obtained from official documents such as the e-learning curriculum, teaching records, and learning outcome evaluation. The results show that the learning innovation based on the seTARA daring application is practical and can benefit the students. At the planning stage, meetings were held to design implementation strategies, discuss policies, and announce the strategies and policies to students. The implementation stage involves implementing the policy and practical guidance and improving tutor innovation. The evaluation stage assessed the success of learning innovations based on the seTARA daring application by collecting feedback from tutors and students, becoming the basis for future improvement and enhancement. This research provides an essential contribution to understanding the challenges and potential solutions to optimize e-learning in the equivalency education program in PKBM.

Abstract

Komunikasi merupakan sarana penting bagi tenaga pengajar dalam menyelenggarakan kegiatan belajar dan pembelajaran dimana akan membangun pemahaman peserta didiknya tentang materi yang diajarkan. Melalui komunikasi sebagai sumber menyampaikan informasi adalah materi pembelajaran kepada penerima yaitu peserta  didik dengan menggunakan simbol-simbol baik lisan, tulisan, dan bahasa non-verbal. Sebaliknya peseta didik akan menyampaikan berbagai pesan sebagai respon kepada tenaga pengajar tersebut sehingga terjadi komunikasi dua arah guna meningkatkan keberhasilan komunikasi untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yaitu terjadinya perubahan tingkah laku dalam diri siswa. Out put pendidikan juga akan lebih bermakna jika terjalin komunikasi yang intensif antara guru dan siswa. Sebab dengan komunikasi yang intensif, guru dapat mengetahui kondisi Psikologis peserta didik dan tingkat perkembangan emosional siswa. Selain itu, guru juga mengetahui secara akurat tingkat kesulitan yang dialami siswa dalam proses pembelajaran
