Abstract

Blimbing Village, located in Mojo District, Kediri Regency, possesses superior horticultural potential in the form of durian. However, its utilization is still limited, which prevents it from generating a significant economic impact for the community. One of the main problems is the suboptimal management of the abundant durian peel waste after harvest, which leads to environmental issues. In reality, this waste has economic potential to be processed into environmentally friendly charcoal briquettes with broad market prospects. On the other hand, the limited use of digital technology prevents the marketing of local products from reaching a wider consumer base. This community service program aims to enhance the capacity of the Blimbing Village Youth Organization (Karang Taruna) in two main aspects: (1) production of charcoal briquettes based on durian peel waste, and (2) product marketing through a digital marketing strategy. The methods used include socialization, technical training on briquette production, entrepreneurship and digital marketing training (Instagram, TikTok, and Shopee), and implementation assistance in the field. The results of the activity show a significant increase in production skills, evidenced by the briquette quality being denser, more uniform, and having a longer burn time compared to wood charcoal. From a marketing perspective, the Youth Organization successfully created digital business accounts, uploaded educational content, and began marketing the product via Shopee.Overall, this program successfully integrated innovation based on local potential with a digital marketing strategy, thereby increasing the community's knowledge, skills, and entrepreneurial spirit.

Abstract

The development of digital technology and the intensification of societal mobility both geographic and socio relational have brought about significant changes in the cultural values and consumer behavior of individuals and groups. This study uses a qualitative approach to explore how digitalization and mobility jointly and mutually influence consumer cultural values and consumer behavior. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews with informants from various backgrounds who actively use digital platforms and engage in mobility changes, such as changes in residence or employment. Thematic analysis shows that digitalization accelerates the internalization of consumer norms and cross-cultural access, mobility facilitates cultural exchange and the adoption of new consumer values and changes the meaning of goods as identity, and digital-mobility interactions create more flexible and rapid consumer behavior. This study suggests that cultural policies and practices should take adaptive steps in facing this transformation to maintain the sustainability of cultural values and direct consumption to be more reflective.

Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance the entrepreneurial competencies of students at SMK Pawyatan Daha 2 Kediri City through training in business plan development based on marketing strategies. The main problem faced by partners is students' limited understanding of how to develop comprehensive business plan components, such as market analysis, and their lack of ability to utilize information technology for digital marketing. The scope of the program includes identifying problems in business management and product marketing, developing structured business plans, and implementing digital marketing strategies using information technology. The methods employed consist of interactive training sessions, simulations, group discussions, mentoring, and business pitch presentations. Data were collected through preliminary observations, discussions with school representatives, and evaluation of students’ business plan documents as well as their digital marketing practices. The results indicate that more than 80% of participants understood the stages of business plan preparation, and approximately 70% were able to produce complete and presentation-ready business plan documents. Furthermore, over 80% of students successfully created digital promotional accounts and uploaded marketing content via social media platforms. The implementation of science and technology tools such as the Business Model Canvas (BMC), Canva, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) contributed to improved creativity, business planning effectiveness, and branding and product promotion skills. In conclusion, business plan training based on marketing strategies effectively fosters an entrepreneurial mindset, strengthens managerial and marketing skills, and prepares students to become independent and competitive young entrepreneurs.
