Abstract

The experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of transfer protection PUFA and L-carnitin on the ration on chemist composition of dairy milk In total, 15 female dairy goats of 2-4 year this old Peranakan Etawah (PE) with body weight of 25-55 kg were used in this experiment. The assay diets included a basal diet (control) based on yellow corn, rice bran, soy bean meal and coconut meal, mineral, tuna fish oil and lemuru fish oil. The method of the research was experimental in vivo using Completely Randomized Blok Design (RAK). There were 5 treatment in each treatment and 3 replication. Treatment consisted of P0 = control ration, P1 = P0 +50% market waste subtition grass on the ration, P2 = P1+500 ppm L-karnitin on the ration, P3 = P1+protection tuna fish oil 5% in the ration and P4 = P1+ protection lemuru fish oil 5% in the ration. The variables measuared content composition dairy milk goat. The results of variance analysis showed that the effect of suplementation protection PUFA in the rations on market waste contain 500 ppm L-carnitine were significantly (P<0.01) of acid goats milk composition. The conclusion of this research shows that the suplementation protection PUFA in the ration contain 500 ppm L-carnitine, can decrease milk cholesterol from 0,482% to 0,420%, LDL from 45,30 to 33,13 mg/dl. There for to increase HDL from 54,70 to 66,87 mg/dl, omega-3 fatty acid from 1,10% to 4,04%, omega-6 fatty acid from 1,46% to 18,80 percent. Keywords: composition dairy milk goats, L-carnitine, protection PUFA fatty acid

Abstract

The objective of this study were to find out and to compare the effect of supplementation of L-carnitine and tuna fish oil and lemuru fish oil  on  fatty acid saturated, fatty acid non saturated  concentration  and peroksida, TBA  number.   The materials used were 20 male PE (Peranakan Etawah) goats of 2 until 3 month old and 15.5-23.5 kilogram body weight. The feedstuff used were wild grass, yellow corn, rice bran, soy bean meal, coconut meal, mineral premix. L-carnitine, tuna fish oil and lemuru fish oil. The method of the research was experimental in vivo using Completely Randomized Blok Design. There were 4 treatments in each treatment and 5 replication. Treatment consisted  of P0= control ration, P1=P0 +L-carnitine 50 ppm, P2=P1 + tuna fish oil 5 ml or equal with 4% in the ration, and P3=P1+ lemuru fish oil 5 ml or equal with 4% in the ration.  The variables measuared  fatty acid saturated, fatty acid non saturated  concentration  and peroksida number..            The results of variance analysis showed that the effect of supplementation of tuna fish oil and lemuru fish oil  (P2 and P3) in the rations contain 50 ppm L-carnitine were  significantly (P<0.01) on faty acid saturated, faty acid non saturated  concentration  and peroksida number.The conclusion of this research shows that the supplementation of 50 ppm L-carnitine, tuna and lemuru fish oil 5ml that was equal to 4% in goat rations can  incrase non saturated fatty acid from 59,74 to 67,36%,  than to decreased saturated fatty acid from 40,26 to 32,64 %. Proces burned of meat goat to increase peroxida from 0.1437 until 0.1615 miliequivalen/kg and malonaldehyde from 1,807 until 2,440 mg/kg  then to decrease concentration omega-3 fatty acid from 5,957 until 5,945%. Key words :  saturated fatty acid, non saturated fatty acid , L-carnitine, tuna, lemuru                 fish oils

Abstract

The experiment was conducted to determine the nutrient digestibility and egg yolk pigment intensity of local ducks which fed shrimps head meal, leucaena leaf meal and L-Carnitine supplement.  The experimental method used was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with four treatments i.e : R0 (feed with  leucaena leaf meal), R1 (feed with 25 ppm L-Carnitine supplement), R2 (feed with 2% shrimps head meal) and R3 (feed with 4% shrimps head meal). A total of  0,20% FeSO4/kg feed were supplemented to all treatments.  The results showed that L-Carnitine supplements and fed shrimps head meal  (2% and 4%) have no significant effects (P>0,05) on crude fat and crude protein  digestibility  but have significant (P<0.05) effects on yolk pigment intensity.  L-Carnitine supplements resulted in 86,69% crude fat and 90,78% crude protein digestibility).  Ducks fed with 4% shrimps head meal (R3) produced eggs with highest yolk pigment intensity (10,55). Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of supplementation lemuru fish oil protected and L-carnitine on digestibility value of lactating dairy cows. The materials used were 12 lactating dairy cows with average body weight 400 ± 5 kg. The study design was a randomized block design with 4 treatments and each treatment consisting of 3 blocks, each block contains one period of lactation dairy cows. Treatments were P0 = 45% rice straw + 55% concentrate; P1 = 15% rice straw + 30% fermented rice straw + 55% concentrate; P2 = 15% rice straw + 30% fermented rice straw + 55% concentrate + 1000 ppm L-carnitine; and P3 = 15% rice straw + 30% rice straw fermented rice straw + 55% concentrate + 1000 ppm L-carnitine + 4% protected lemuru fish oil. . The results of variance analysis showed that supplementation protected lemuru fish oil and L-carnitine in the diet rice straw fermentation was high significantly increased (P <0.01) on dry matter intake, consumption as well as dry matter digestibility and digestibility of organic matter in lactating dairy cows. It could be concluded that supplementation protected lemuru fish oil and L-carnitine in the diet of rice straw fermented able to reduce the consumption of dry matter and organic matter and increase the value of dry matter and organic matter digestibility.

Abstract

Kegiatan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Kebangsaan sebagai bentuk pengabdian berdasarkan tri dharma perguruan tinggi kepada masyarakat dengan pendekatan lintas keilmuan dan sektoral. Desa Monterado, Kabupaten Bengkayang, Provinsi Kalimantan Barat, dipilih sebagai lokasi pelaksanaan KKN Kebangsaan untuk meningkatkan pemberdayaan masyarakat. Tujuan utama adalah meningkatkan pemberdayaan melalui penjelasan, diskusi, dan praktik langsung di Desa Monterado. Implementasi kegiatan KKN Kebangsaan melibatkan sektor ekonomi (bantuan untuk UMKM), kesehatan (dukungan terhadap NAPZA, gizi seimbang, dan stunting), dan keagamaan (pengajaran di TPA). Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan mencapai target yang ditetapkan, dan partisipasi serta antusiasme masyarakat dalam setiap kegiatan mencerminkan dampak positif dari KKN Kebangsaan ini. Manfaat yang dirasakan oleh masyarakat mencakup peningkatan kesejahteraan ekonomi, kesehatan, pendidikan, dan keagamaan. Kesimpulannya, KKN Kebangsaan di Desa Monterado berhasil memberikan kontribusi positif dalam meningkatkan pemberdayaan masyarakat. The National Community Service Program (KKN) is a form of service based on the tri dharma of higher education to the community with a cross-disciplinary and sectoral approach. Monterado Village, Bengkayang Regency, West Kalimantan Province, was chosen as the location for National KKN  to improve community empowerment. The main objective is to increase empowerment through explanation, discussion, and hands-on practice in Monterado Village. The implementation of National KKN activities involved the economic sector (assistance for MSMEs), health (support for drugs, balanced nutrition, and stunting), and religion (teaching at TPA). The results of the activities reached the set targets, and the community's participation and enthusiasm in each activity reflected the positive impact of National KKN Activities. The benefits felt by the community include improved economic welfare, health, education, and religion. In conclusion, the National KKN  in Monterado Village has made a positive contribution to improving community empowerment.

Abstract

Di era globalisasi seperti saat ini, perkembangan teknologi meningkat dengan sangat pesat. Salah satunya adalah penggunaan telepon genggam atau gadget. Ditambah lagi dengan adanya pandemi covid-19 dimana banyak kegiatan yang terpaksa dilakukan secara daring atau online, seperti dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Penggunaan gadget yang terlalu sering menimbulkan salah satu sumber permasalahan yaitu timbulnya kecanduan gadget khususnya pada anak-anak. Hal ini juga terjadi pada anak-anak di Desa Pucungrejo. Desa Pucungrejo merupakan salah satu Desa Digital yang memiliki beberapa fasilitas penunjang untuk digitalisasi, seperti adanya Wi-Fi pada tiap dusunnya. Oleh karena itu, tim KKN Smart Village UNS Kelompok 271 mengadakan program kerja “GELIAT (Gerakan Lawan Adiksi dengan Art Therapy”. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengurangi adiksi gadget pada anak dan mengalihkan fokus mereka pada kegiatan yang lebih positif, seperti melukis. Program kerja GELIAT menggunakan metode praktik langsung oleh anak-anak dengan dibimbing guru dan tim KKN Smart Village UNS Kelompok 271. Program tersebut diikuti oleh anak-anak di dua Taman Kanak-Kanak (TK) di Desa Pucungrejo yaitu TK ABA Al-Ahda dan TK Muslimat NU dengan melukis langsung pada ember yang telah disediakan. Indikator keberhasilan dari program kerja GELIAT adalah berkurangnya adiksi anak pada gadget serta anak dapat mengeksplorasi perasaan dan emosi yang dituangkan dalam melukis ember.

Abstract

Pada dasarnya permasalahan air adalah permasalahan yang berkaitan dengan kualitas, kuantitas serta kontinuitas dari air. Ketersediaan air bersih di daerah daerah terpencil yang belum terpenuhi merupakan masalah utama dalam mendukung pelaksanaan SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals). Tujuan dari kegiatan ini yaitu mendukung peningkatan sustainability air bersih secara mandiri melalui pemberdayaan masyarakat sekitar di Desa Sentangau Jaya. Metode yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif kualitatif dengan didukung oleh observasi lapang, dan beberapa proses lanjutan seperti perencanaan, perancangan alat, sosialisasi, dan pengukuran parameter air. Implementasi Water Filtration System memberikan dampak positif bagi masyarakat yaitu mengetahui urgensi air bersih. Water Filter System merupakan konsep gagasan yang menerapkan teknologi filtrasi sederhana yang digunakan terhadap saluran penampungan air hujan. Spesifikasi dari sistem tersebut berupa rangkaian tandon air, aliran pipa saluran (inlet), bak filtrasi, dan pipa saluran (outlet). Hasil air dari Water Filtration System menggunakan bahan material batu zeolit, pasir silika, dan karbon aktif dilakukan evaluasi berdasarkan parameter fisik dan kimia, dengan hasil yaitu terdapat perubahan warna yang lebih jernih, bau besi yang tidak menyengat, dan pH air normal.
