Abstract

Abstract

Community service regarding disaster preparedness is motivated because Mount Merapi is an active volcano that erupts every time and is now on alert level III. The Klakah area is a KRB III area, so the community needs to get socialization and knowledge about volcanic activity and preparedness for the Merapi eruption disaster. This community service was carried out in 2023 in Klakah, Selo, Boyolali with participants from the village government and the Klakah disaster response community. This community service starts from situation analysis, socialization, analysis by distributing questionnaires, and suggestions for the village government. The results of this community service show that community participation is quite high in participating in community service activities and they also care about disaster-related matters. The community already knows the vulnerability of the area where they live. The community further improves relations with the relevant government when a disaster occurs, even though the measured level of resilience is 50%.

Abstract

Waste management issues in schools are often caused by a lack of awareness and understanding among students regarding the importance of sorting and managing waste properly. The mentoring program for the Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) at SDIT Salsabila Baiturahman aims to improve students’ awareness and understanding of waste management based on the 5R principles (Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Repair) and implement the Sedekah Sampah program. The program was conducted through educational activities, including counseling and workshops, as well as the implementation of the Sedekah Sampah program. Results indicated a significant improvement in students’ understanding of waste management, as evidenced by the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test (p-value = 0.000). The implementation also successfully supported school activities using funds generated from waste sales. This program contributes to character building in students, particularly in environmental awareness and collaboration, aligning with P5 goals.

Abstract

Every development activity is always related to human or community aspects. This can also lead to changes in the characteristics of the community. The community's increasing awareness and critical attitude need to be accommodated to avoid the emergence of social conflicts in the future. This research is to find out how the public perception about the impact of development on the environment. Two methods are used, i.e., MDA (Maximum Dependency Attribute) and MSMD (the Multi soft set multivariate distribution function). The MDA is to determine the most influential attribute and the Multi soft set multivariate distribution function (MSMD) is to group the selected data into classes with similar characteristics. This will help the police producer plan the right mediation and take quick activity to make strides in the quality of the social environment. The experiment conducted level of impact based on the clustering results with the greatest number of member clusters is cluster 1 (very low impact) with 32.25 % of total data following cluster 5 (Very High impact) with 24.25 % of total data. The experiment obtains the level of impact based on the clustering results. The greatest number of member clusters is cluster 1 (extremely low impact) with 32.25 % of total data following cluster 5 (Very High impact) with 24.25 % of total data. The scatter area impact is spread at districts 6, 7, 10, 11, the most of very high impact and districts 1,2,3,4,5,8 the lowest impact.Â
