Abstract

Abstract This research is qualitative research with a case study approach. This study aims to describe the level of students' problem-solving in fraction operations. The subjects of this study were three students of SDN 70 Manjalling who had low, moderate, and high abilities in solving fractions. Data were collected through written tests and individual interviews to obtain valid information. The results showed that students with high problem-solving abilities were able to apply all of Polya's problem-solving steps. Students with moderate problem-solving abilities could not do all of Polya's problem-solving steps. They only applied steps of understanding the problem and making a solution plan. Students with low abilities found it challenging to use fractions and were unable to use each step to solve the Polya's problem. Those students could only apply steps of understanding the problem and making a solution plan, but they did not understand the problem and could not convert it into mathematical forms.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and describe the mathematical communication skills of statistical material in terms of the self-confidence of class VIII students of SMP Muhammadiyah Limbung. This research is a descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects in this study were 6 students of class VIII-9 who were selected based on self-confidence grouping, namely 2 students who had high self-confidence, 2 students who had moderate self-confidence, and 2 students who had low self-confidence. The instruments used in this study were self-confidence questionnaires, mathematical communication skills tests, and interview guidelines. the data analysis techniques used are data condensation, data presentation, and data verification. The results show that: 1) Students who have high self-confidence, have an average mathematical communication ability of 91.67 which is included in the high category, based on indicators show that they are able to master written text, drawing and mathematical expressions indicators, 2) students who have moderate self-confidence, have an average mathematical communication ability of 45.8 which is included in the medium category, based on indicators showing that they are less able to master written text, drawing and mathematical expressions indicators and 3) students who have low self-confidence, have an average the average mathematical communication ability is 16.7 which is included in the low category, based on indicators showing that they are not able to master written text and mathematical expressions indicators, for drawing indicators.

Abstract

Rendahnya kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas VI SD yang dipengaruhi oleh kurangnya dukungan orang tua, dan media pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengembangkan media pembelajaran word wall untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah (R&D), dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model Borg & Gall. Subjek penelitian ini melibatkan 28 siswa kelas VI,. Metode pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, angket, dan tes. Analisis data mencakup uji normalitas, uji T-test, dan uji N-gain. Hasil penelitian yaitu media WORD WAL dinilai layak tingkat keberhasilan mencapai 88-94. Hasil uji N-gain menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan membaca siswa kategori sedang. Disimpulkan media yang dikembangkan dan layak serta efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas VI SD. Implikasi penelitian ini mencakup peran media dalam pembelajaran yang melibatkan siswa secara aktif

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis karangan melalui metode brainstorming. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN Melayu Muhammadiyah sebanyak 21 siswa yang terdiri dari 11 laki-laki dan 10 perempuan. Objek penelitian ini berupa penggunaan metode brainstorming dan keterampilan menulis karangan. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan lembar observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kuantatif dan kualitatif. Penelitian dilakukan sebanyak 2 siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus 1 nilai rata-rata siswa yaitu 74, kemudian nilai rata-rata kelas pada siklus 2 terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan dalam keterampilan menulis karangan. Sebagian besar siswa (86%) telah mencapai standar ketuntasan minimal, dengan nilai rata-rata yang meningkat menjadi 82.

Abstract

: This study aims to improve the listening skills of fourth-grade students at SDN 76 Tarowang through the implementation of the cooperative learning model type Think Pair Share (TPS). This research is a classroom action research (CAR) conducted in two cycles, each consisting of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 8 fourth-grade students of SDN 76 Tarowang. The instruments used were observation sheets for teacher and student activities and learning outcome tests. The results showed that the application of the cooperative learning model type TPS could improve students' listening skills. This was evidenced by the increase in the average learning outcomes from 30% in the pre-cycle to 37.6% in the first cycle and significantly to 81.25% in the second cycle. Thus, the cooperative learning model type Think Pair Share (TPS) can be an effective alternative to improve the listening skills of elementary school students. Abstract

This study aims to analyze students’ difficulties in solving mathematics problems on the topic of three-dimensional shapes, including difficulties in using concepts, principles, and solving verbal problems. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of tests, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects consisted of 3 students from a total of 22 fifth-grade students at SD Inpres Pare’ Pare’, Bajeng District, Gowa Regency, who were selected based on high, medium, and low levels of mathematical ability. The obtained data were analyzed through the stages of data reduction and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that difficulties in using concepts were experienced by students with both high and low abilities. High-ability students had difficulty because they forgot formulas. Meanwhile, low-ability students showed a deep lack of understanding of basic concepts of three-dimensional shapes, such as formulas for volume and surface area. Difficulties in using principles were experienced by students with medium and low abilities. They often made errors in calculations, used incorrect formulas, or did not complete the problem-solving process correctly. This indicates a weak mastery of basic mathematical principles. Difficulties in solving verbal problems were experienced by students with medium and low abilities. These students had difficulty understanding word problems, identifying relevant information, and formulating solution strategies. The main cause was the inability to relate contextual information to mathematical form.

Abstract

Masalah utama dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana penerapan media papan pintar terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas IIA SD Inpres Sanging-Sanging. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh penggunaan media papan pintar terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas IIA SD Inpres Sanging-Sanging. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Inpres Sanging- Sanging Kabupaten Gowa. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IIA SD Inpres Sanging-Sanging. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar observasi dan lembar tes hasil belajar. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah pemberian tes dan lembar observasi. Data yang diperoleh kemudian di analisis menggunakan analisis stattistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar pada mata peljaran matematikan sebelum menggunakan media papan pintar dengan nilai rata-rata 42,0. Sedangkan pada posttest meningkat dengan nilai rata-rata 86,80. Hasil analisis uji-t terkait pengaruh penggunaan media papan pintar terhadap hasil belajar ssiwa menunjukkan hasil bahwa nilai signifikansi yaitu diperoleh yaitu = <0,03 yang berarti lebih kecil dari 0.05. maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Hasil uji hipotesis tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh papan pintar terhadap hasil belajar siwa kelas IIA SD Inpres Sanging-Sanging Kabupaten Gowa.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Technology Enhanced Learning onstudent learning outcomes in mathematics subjects for grade V of SD Inpres Paranglabbua,Parigi District, Gowa Regency. This study is a quantitative study with a one group pretest-posttest design. The subjects of the study were 15 grade V students. Data collectiontechniques used were observation, testing, and documentation. Data analysis techniques inthis study were descriptive data analysis techniques and T-Test tests. The results showed thatthere was an effect of the use of Technology Enhanced Learning on student learningoutcomes in mathematics subjects for grade V of SD Inpres Paranglabbua. This is indicatedby the average pretest score reaching 52, while the average posttest score reached 76. Basedon the results of the t-test analysis on the effect of Technology Enhanced Learning on studentlearning outcomes in mathematics subjects, it shows that the results of the hypothesis testobtained t_count = 7.18 and t_table = 2.145 so that t_(count) > t_table or 7.18 > 2.145 in otherwords H_0 is rejected and H_1 is accepted, which means that there is an effect of TechnologyEnhanced Learning on student learning outcomes in mathematics subjects in grade V of SDInpres Paranglabbua Kec. Parigi, Kab. Gowa.

Abstract

The main problem in this study is whether the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model supported by the Wordwall application has an effect on the mathematics learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SD Inpres Malengkeri II. This study aims to determine the effect of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model supported by the Wordwall application on the mathematics learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SD Inpres Malengkeri II.The study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and a non-equivalent control group design. The sample consisted of classes IV A (control) and IV B (experimental) with a total of 50 students. The instruments consisted of pretest-posttest questions and observation sheets. Data were collected through tests and observations, analyzed descriptively and inferentially.The results showed a posttest average of 85.28 for the experimental class and 76.84 for the control class. The t-test showed a significance of 0.009 (<0.05), indicating that the implementation of TGT with the help of Wordwalls had a significant effect on students' mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

The problem in this study is that students are less interested and attracted to mathematics learning, with that mathematics learning becomes low so that there are students who do not complete and do not reach the KKM score. This study to improve mathematics learning outcomes through the Guided Note Taking model in fourth grade students of SD Inpres Jongaya. Through implementing this Guided Note Taking model. This type for research is Class Action Research whish cinsists of two cycles, namely cysles I and cycles II, each cycle being carried out in 4 meetings. The result showed that in cycle I there were 28 students with an average score of 69,79% with a complete score of 35%. So from cycle I, students did not meet the minimum completeness criteria fourthemore, in cycle II, 28 students experienced an increase, namely with an average score of 89,82% with a complete score of 100%. So there is an increase in mathematics learning outcomes for class IV students from cycle I to cycle II. This shows that applying the Guided Note Taking learning model can improve students’ mathematics learning otcomes
