Abstract

Radio Nuansa Cirebon adalah radio yang masih tetap bertahan di era digitalisasi. Saat ini orang sudah beralih dalam menggunakan media komunikasi massa. Akan tetapi Radio Nuansa Cirebon tetap eksis sampai sekarang ini karena positioning yang tepat dalam melakukan program siarannya salahsatunya memutar siaran khusus untuk anak muda usia 15-35 tahun. Selain itu Radio Nuansa Cirebon memanfaatkan sosial media dalam mempromosikan siarannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi kualitatif dengan melakukan wawancara mendalam terhadap manajemen di Radio Nuansa Cirebon. Hasil penlitian menunjukkan bahwa Radio Nuansa Cirebon dapat bertahan sampai sekarang ini dikarenakan kejelian dalam melakukan segmentasi, pemilihan target pasar dan melakukan positioning.

Abstract

The increase in positive confirmed cases in Indonesia is very worrying. One of the factors behind this positive confirmed number is the lack of public awareness in implementing health protocols. This study aims to determine what factors are dominant in changing people's behavior in carrying out health protocols. This research method uses quantitative methods using path regression analysis. The theory used is Elaboration Likelihood Model Theory. The population in this study were IAIN Pekalongan students totaling 11,653 students with a sample of 387 students with a stratified proportional random sampling technique. The results showed that the variable of persuasive communication through social campaigns (x1) did not have a significant influence either directly or indirectly on student behavior in implementing health protocols (z). The motivation variable (x2) has the most influential value in giving a direct influence on student behavior in carrying out health protocols (z) of 0.344 with a total effect of combining direct regression analysis with student attitudes (y) of 0, 403148. Knowledge students (x3) have a direct influence with the value of 0.131 and 0.253112 the total influence both directly and indirectly on student behavior in carrying out health protocols (z).

Abstract

Technological progress is a necessity that must be faced by all parties, including the emergence of positive and negative impacts that exist. Furthermore, this inability to cope with change and progress will bring about the consequences of negative impacts, including those related to media development. And this must be overcome, through various efforts, one of which is the media literacy movement. Using qualitative research methods that are done by working with data, organizing data, sorting it out, searching and finding patterns, finding what is important to report, this article tries to uncover how the implementation of Local Potential-based Community Empowerment in the "Pioneering Media Literacy Village" Program in Warungasem Village Warungasem District Batang Regency ". The results of this study are that media literacy-based community empowerment programs are carried out by synergizing four activity clusters, namely Journalistic and Web Clusters, Photography and Videography Clusters, E-Commerce Clusters and Design and Environment Clusters. The four clusters are synergized to realize Warungasem as Media Literacy Village. Keywords: media literacy village, community empowerment, local potential-based.

Abstract

The ability to access and share student information via the internet and social media is very good. Information about hoax content is also very massive by the government and anti hoax activists. However, hoax information and news during Covid-19 was very much and made the public fear. This research tries to find out why there are still many hoaxes. This study uses quantitative methods using linear regression analysis. The theory used is the elaboration likelihood model. The sample in this study was 317 students of SMA / SMK / MA in Tegal Regency using cluster sampling. The results showed that there was an effect of students 'internet useability (X1) and hoax content socialization (X2) together on students' behavior in receiving information (Y) of 37.8%. This study has new findings where students do not know how to report hoax news and information. They automatically do not report if they receive information and news that are indicated as hoaxes. Another factor that causes students not to report is the lack of motivation, namely in the form of rewards. The government needs to make it easier for access to report news and information that are indicated as hoaxes. Besides, providing rewards for whistleblowers is an important thing and has not been done so far. The sooner someone reports, the hoax information and news can be handled quickly and not spread to the wider community Kemampuan mengakses dan membagikan informasi siswa melalui media internet dan media sosial sangat baik. Informasi mengenai konten hoax juga sangat masif dilakukan oleh pemerintah dan para pegiat anti hoax. Akan tetapi informasi dan berita hoax saat covid-19 sungguh sangat banyak dan membuat ketakutan masyarakat. Penelitian ini mencoba mencari tahu kenapa hoax masihbanyak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linier. Teori yang digunakan adalah elaboration likelihood model. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 317 siswa SMA/ SMK/MA di Kabupaten Tegal dengan menggunakan cluster sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada pengaruh kemampuan penggunaan internet siswa (X1) dan sosialisasi konten hoax (X2) secara bersama-sama terhadap perilaku siswa dalam menerima informasi (Y) sebesar 37,8%. Penelitian ini memiliki temuan baru dimana siswa tidak mengetahui bagaimana cara melaporkan berita dan informasi hoax. Secara otomatis mereka tidak melaporkan jika menerima informasi dan berita yang terindikasi hoax. Faktor lain yang menyebabkan siswa tidak melaporkan adalah karena tidak adanya motivasi yaitu berupa reward. Penting bagi pemerintah untuk lebih mempermudah akses melaporkan berita dan informasi yang terindikasi hoax. Selain itu, memberikan reward bagi pelapor merupakan hal yang penting dan selama ini belum dilakukan. Semakin cepat seseorang melaporkan maka informasi dan berita hoax dapat tertangani dengan cepat dan tidaktersebar ke masyarakat luas.

Abstract

Abstract This research was conducted on students in Muhammadiyah University of Cirebon who were spread in 19 study programs using quantitative methods. The purpose of this research is to know how many effect of message intensity, media appearance and media content to the students behaviour , using social campaigns media in form of posters of raw materials for batik cloth waste. This research found that: (1) the effect of Message Intensity (X1) of safety riding social campaign media to the safety riding behavior of UMC students (Y) was 12.7%, (2)The Effect of Media Appearance (X2) of safety riding social campaign media to the safety riding behavior of UMC students (Y) was 29.2%, (3) The Effect of Media Content (X3) of safety riding social campaign media to the safety riding behavior of UMC students (Y) was 19.4%. The effect of Message Intensity (X1), Media Display (X2) and Media Content (X3) of safety riding social campaign media to the safety riding behavior of UMC students (Y) was 52.9%. Keywords: Social campaign, Posters, Batik Penelitian dilakukan terhadap mahasiswa di lingkungan Universitas Muhammadiyah Cirebon yang tersebar di 19 program studi dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh dari intensitas pesan, tampilan media dan isi media terhadap perilaku mahasiswa Universitas Muhammadiyah Cirebon dengan menggunakan media kampanye sosial berupa poster dari bahan baku limbah kain batik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh Intensitas Pesan (X1) dari media kampanye sosial safety riding terhadap perilaku mahasiswa UMC dalam berkendara aman (Y) sebesar 12,7%. PengaruhTampilan Media (X2) dari media kampanyesosialsafety riding terhadapperilakumahasiswa UMC dalamberkendaraaman (Y) sebesar 29,2%.Pengaruh Isi Media (X3) dari media kampanyesosialsafety riding terhadapperilakumahasiswa UMC dalamberkendaraaman (Y) sebesar 19,4%. Abstract

The present study intends to investigate the changing of students’ behavior during driving. The changing is influenced by the implementation of social campaign of safety riding by utilizing waste batik cloth material in Muhammadiyah University of Cirebon. This study applies posters, as the media, concerning social campaign of safety riding made of waste batik cloth material in Cirebon. Nineteen students from entire study program in Muhammadiyah University of Cirebon are chosen as the objects/participants in this study. This study employs a quantitative study. The data are obtained through an instrument namely closed questionnaires. The result of the study indicates that there is a difference attitude among students after the social campaign of safety riding utilizing waste batik cloth material is implemented with the statistical score 5, 09537.

Abstract

Tingginya kasus positif covid-19 setiap hari semakin mengalami peningkatan. Padahal kampanye sosial protokol kesehatan covid-19 sering digaungkan. Pada penelitian ini mencari tahu apakah ada pengaruh yang cukup signifikan dari kampanye sosial yang dilakukan dan juga peran keluarga melalui role model terhadap perilaku siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif eksplanatif yang dianalisis menggunakan teori pembelajaran sosial Bandura. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 317 responden dari 3 sekolah menengah tingkat atas di Kabupaten Tegal. Analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi linier. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang cukup signifikan dari kampanye protokol kesehatan covid-19 (X1) secara bersama-sama dengan role model keluarga (X2) terhadap perilaku siswa dalam menaati protokol kesehatan covid-19 (Y). Besar pengaruh yang ditimbulkan adalah 43,4%, artinya masih ada 56,6% variabel lain diluar penelitian ini yang berpengaruh terhadap perilaku siswa. Siswa memahami kampanye sosial protokol kesehatan covid-19 yang selama ini dilakukan dan juga keluarga selalu mengingatkan untuk menaati protokol tersebut. Sebagian besar siswa menyatakan setuju bahwa dalam melakukan aktifitas diluar harus menaati protokol kesehatan yang telah ditetapkan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence the variables of religious leaders, persuasive communication, motivation, and community cognition together have on the implementation of the protocol in Tegal City. The research method used is quantitative with the number of samples used as many as 100 respondents. The sampling technique used a proportional stratified sampling technique with a standard error of 10%. The theory used in this research is the Elaboration Likelihood Model theory by Petty and Cacioppo. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant influence of the four independent variables of religious leaders, persuasive communication, motivation, and community cognition together on the implementation of the protocol. The magnitude of the resulting effect is 0.73 or 73%. There is still 27% of the effect resulting from other variables related to the implementation of health protocols in Tegal City.

Abstract

Advances in technology have had a significant impact on human civilization today. These changes can bring people to a life that is easier and more feasible than before. One of them is in the field of information, it is easier for people to get information through various media, especially the internet. However, behind this convenience and convenience, technological advances have brought quite a crucial problem for the community. The shallow knowledge and critical attitude by the public resulted in a lot of false information or hoax news that spread widely in the community. This hoax phenomenon is not new anymore but has become a global problem, especially in Indonesia. Hoaxes or fake news generally spread faster, especially among the general public because hoaxes are packed with sensational information so that people are more motivated to spread it again. This of course has a large impact on the social life of the community. Therefore, it is necessary to have literacy or counseling to deepen knowledge and a more inclusive understanding of hoaxes so that the public becomes more aware that hoaxes are a fairly crucial problem in the social life of Indonesian people.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a profound impact on all areas of life, including education. The education system, which was originally face-to-face, had to be replaced with online learning. Various problems arise related to the implementation of the Distance Learning or PJJ system. This system makes parents have to participate more in supervising as well as being a substitute for teachers at home in the learning process of their children. In addition, homeschooling also raises problems where students find it difficult to understand the material given by the teacher. The decrease in enthusiasm for learning becomes a problem when the PJJ system seems monotonous and boring. To support the government's program in breaking the chain of the spread of COVID-19 without reducing the effectiveness of online learning implemented by the Ministry of Education and Culture, this activity was carried out. This activity is expected to help reduce the anxiety of parents who are afraid that their children are not serious and have difficulty in learning. In addition, it is hoped that this activity will help participants to easily understand the material that has not been mastered. The methods of socialization, demonstration, and mentoring are carried out directly. The success of this activity can be seen from the assistance of the participants in solving the problems faced and the enthusiasm of the participants during the activity.
