Abstract

There are many forms of da'wah that humans can do to others. Da'wah is no longer standing in front of the pulpit but da'wah can be done at any time using different media. One of the da'wah that can be done by using memes. The researcher analyzed the da'wah in the memes on the fanspage of Islamic da'wah memes. The research method in this research is qualitative using semiotic analysis of Roland Barthes. The source of the research is the memes on the fanspage of Islamic da'wah memes posted in January 2021 as many as 9 posts. The results of this study are that the meme illustrations used by Islamic da'wah meme accounts have an interest in spreading da'wah messages and providing lessons to the public with a unique and creative display of memes that contain Islamic teachings.

Abstract

Literasi digital menjadi sebuah hal yang amat penting di era milenial seperti sekarang ini. Tak hanya sekedar membaca atau mengoperasikan perangkat digital melainkan menjadi suatu kesatuan lengkap kecakapan dalam menggunakan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi. Di tengah perkembangan teknologi yang semakin pesat, masyarakat dituntut untuk bisa cakap dalam menggunakan teknologi, tak terkecuali para remaja milenial di Desa Tirto yang dapat dikatakan notabene belum terlalu cakap dalam menggunakan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi. Melalui kegiatan peningkatan pemahaman literasi digital ini diharapkan dapat menjadi sarana peningkatan pemahaman literasi digital pada remaja milenial Desa Tirto. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini yakni penyuluhan langsung berupa pemaparan materi dan penerapan literasi digital dalam rangka penyelesaian permasalahan yang tengah dihadapi masyarakat.  Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan ini adalah peningkatan tingkat pemahaman peserta terkait dengan literasi digital, utamanya dalam rangka peningkatan pemanfaatan teknologi digital dalam berbagai aspek diantaranya kesehatan, pendidikan dan ekonomi. sehingga peserta dapat lebih memanfaatkan teknologi sebaik mungkin dan makin cakap digital.

Abstract

Unit Kerja Mahasiswa Fakultas (UKM-F) Tazkisoul merupakan wadah untuk membimbing dan membangun solidaritas serta kepedulian mahasiswa terhadap sosial yang inovatif progresif dan aplikatif di Fakultas Ushuluddin, Adab, dan Dakwah Institut Agama Islam Negeri Pekalongan. Dalam rangka mencapai tujuan dan cita-cita organisasi tersebut maka perlu diadakanya sebuah pelatihan yang bertujuan agar pengurus dan anggota mempunyai kemampuan desain grafis untuk keperluan pembuatan publikasi dan adminitrasi seperti membuat flyer, sertifikat serta mereka juga bisa mengatur google form agar bisa mengirimkan sertifikat secara otomatis. Metode pelatihan ini menggunakan model praktikum dan ceramah yang dilakukan di laboratorium komputer. Pelatihan ini membahas tentang desain flyer, sertifikat dan mengatur sertifikat secara otomatis di google form. Hasil dari pelatihan ini bisa disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan berjalan dengan baik dan para peserta juga sudah bisa menerima materi pelatihan dengan baik pula sesuai dengan target pelatihan yang diharapkan. Selain itu kegiatan pelatihan diharapkan dapat bermanfaat bagi UKM-F Tazkisoul untuk keperluan kegiatan-kegiatan yang nantinya akan dilakukan.

Abstract

Kepuasan pengguna merupakan faktor utama dalam pembuatan sebuah sistem e-learning, jika faktor ini diabaikan maka sebuah sistem e-learning tidak bisa dikembangkan sesuai tujuannya yaitu untuk memaksimalkan proses pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif jenis survai. Analis dalam penelitian ini mengacu pada tingkat kepuasan pengguna dalam teori End-User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) kemudian di analisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial yang dikombinasikan dengan hasil coding wawancara para responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa sebagian besar para pengguna e-learning setuju bahwa e-learning­ sudah mempunyai content, accuracy, format, ease of use, dan timeliness yang baik. Tapi, masih ada sebagaian para pengguna yang kesulitan dan merasa tampilan e-learning masih kurang baik.

Abstract

LKP3A counselor in terms of quality and quantity is still very lacking. One of the indications is there are still many unskillful bachelor degree graduates that work as counselors. Thus, there is a need for assistance and empowerment to meet the needs of the community. This community empowerment program aims to improve knowledge and counseling skills that are still relatively minimal for mentors at LKP3A Fatayat Nadhalatul Ulama Pekalongan. This research is a participatory action research (PAR) with a qualitative approach. This research was carried out for 1 year in the NU building in Pekalongan. The subjects of this study were divided into two community categories namely the Core Trainer Team (TIP) and LKP3A Women's Citizens (WP). Counseling skills training is carried out through three activities, namely planning, implementation, and evaluation monitoring activities. The results of this research show that after LKP3A counselors received training and mentoring, it showed many changes, including being able to understand ethical principles for counseling and paying attention to risk management; able to bring up a friendly attitude; empathize; want to listen to clients; understand and appreciate individual differences. The counselor provides services based on these differences. The focus on the client is greater. The counselor understands her position as a counselor, able to integrate theory into counseling practice, able to evaluate the course of counseling both in the process and results.

Abstract

Dalam  melakukan  komunikasi tentu di dalamnya terdapat sapaan untuk memulai pembicaraan. Sapaan yang sering digunakan santri kepada pengasuh di pesantren antara lain kyai, nyai, abah, dan umi. Namun berbeda halnya dengan di Pondok Pesantren Asy-Syaibaniy Karanganyar Kabupaten Pekalongan yang menggunakan sapaan “papah” dan “mamah”. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sapaan di pesantren Asy-Syaibaniy dan bagaimana penerapan sapaan tersebut berdasarkan kacamata komunikasi interpersonal.  Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam riset ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif untuk menjelaskan, mendalami dan memahami penerapan sapaan kekininan di Pesantren Asy-Syaibaniy. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan wawancara, observasi dan studi pustaka. Hasil riset menunjukkan bahwa sapaan pengasuh pesantren memperngaruhi keeratan hubungan antara pengasuh dan santrinya. Sapaan “Papah” dan “Mamah”  kepada pengasuh pesantren merupakan model strategi komunikasi kekinian sebagai wujud penguatan kondisi emosional para santri agar merasa nyaman terbuka kepada pengasuh sehingga dapat meningkatkan motivasi para santri untuk berprestasi.

Abstract

Utilization of communication technology when used as a complement to direct face-to-face learning has a very positive impact, making it easier for students and teachers to maximize the learning process. But during the Covid-19 Pandemic the use of communication technology in the whole learning process caused various problems and obstacles. Research is needed on how much influence the ability of students to operate communication technology, how the socialization of learning through communication technology at the time of the Covid-19 epidemic and the support of families and teachers on active learning in the Covid-19 pendemi period. This research uses explanative quantitative methods which are analyzed using Rogers Innovation Diffusion theory. Data analysis using Linear Regression Test. The results of the study showed a significant influence of the three independent variables, namely the ability to use communication technology (X1), online learning media socialization (X2) and family and teacher support (X3) together on student activity (Y). The magnitude of the effect is 54.8% and is positive. This means that the higher the value of the three independent variables, the better the student's activeness in learning. In this study also there is still 45.2% the influence of other variables on student activity during the Covid-19 Pandemic.

Abstract

The ranking of the Ministry of Religion Universities is far behind compared to the Ministry of Education and Culture Universities according to webometrics and Unirank. This is an indicator of the digital divide. With equal Internet access, there should be no digital divide. The purpose of this study was to determine the digital divide between students from the Ministry of Religion Universities and students from the Ministry of Education and Culture Universities. The theory used in this study is the theory of digital divide which includes three aspects, namely access divide, usage divide, and quality of use divide. The population in this study was 8,825,981 students with a sample of 424 respondents. The sampling technique used was simple random with a standard error of 4.82%. The data analysis technique used the SPSS compare means one way ANOVA test. The results showed that the access divide and the usage divide did not experience a digital divide with a significance value of 0.80 and 0.909, respectively. Meanwhile, the quality of use divide experienced a digital gap with a significance value of 0.024. The digital divide occurs in the quality of students' use of information and communication technology. The average quality of the use of information and communication technology among university students of the Ministry of Education and Culture is higher than that of university students of the Ministry of Religion. There needs to be an effort from the Ministry of Religion in making policies so that the use of information and communication technology in Higher Education students of the Ministry of Religion is of higher quality, especially in accessing national and international journals.

Abstract

Prisoners are identical to someone who has committed a crime and is difficult to be accepted again in society. Prisoners are also identical with someone who it difficult to receive messages of kindness, especially messages from preachers. This is different from the Class II-A Penitentiary in Pekalongan, which is very enthusiastic about participating in da'wah activities. The communication model carried out can be well received by prisoners. The purpose of this study is to analyze the communication model used in conducting da'wah to prisoners. This study uses a qualitative research method using purposive sampling, namely preachers, correctional officers, and prisoners. The method of data collection was carried out by in-depth interviews. The results showed that the communication model that was carried out was very good so that it was able to make inmates enthusiastic in participating in these activities. The inhibiting factors in da'wah activities include the busyness of the preacher which makes da'wah cannot be done frequently, the second is environmental factors in prisons that are often exposed to rob, and the third factor is that communication technology has not been optimized to carry out da'wah in correctional institutions.

Abstract

News coverage of violence in pesantren has increased. The news coverage should have made the image of pesantren hostile, and the number of students decreased. However, pesantren and Santri in Pekalongan Regency have experienced a significant increase. This study aimed to analyze the community in overcoming cognitive dissonance when sending their children to pesantren and to analyze the exposure to negative news on parents' interest in sending their children to pesantren through the intervening variable of the image of pesantren. The theory used is cognitive dissonance. The research methodology uses a post-positivistic paradigm with a mixed methods approach. The population was 976,504 people, and a sample of 475 respondents with a simple random technique. The data collection method used surveys and in-depth interviews. The study's results showed that the community could reduce cognitive dissonance; they considered pesantren the safest places to deepen religious knowledge, train independence, and make many friends. Parents assume that not all pesantren experience physical violence and sexual violence. The second research result is that the influence of mass media exposure on parents' request to send their children to pesantren is minimal, only 7.29%. In comparison, the image of pesantren influences parents' interest in sending their children to pesantren by 26.21%. Together, mass media exposure and the image of pesantren influence parents' interest in sending their children to pesantren by 34.8%. Meanwhile, mass media exposure does not affect parents' interest in sending their children to pesantren through the intervening variable of pesantren image. Pemberitaan kekerasan di pesantren meningkat. Pemberitaan membuat citra pesantren harusnya menjadi negatif dan jumlah Santri berkurang. Akan tetapi, pesantren dan Santri di Kabupaten Pekalongan mengalami peningkatan signifikan. Tujuan penelitian ini menganalisis masyarakat dalam mengatasi disonansi kognitif saat memondokkan anaknya di pesantren dan menganalisis terpaan pemberitaan negatif terhadap minat orang tua memondokkan anaknya di pesantren melalui variabel intervening citra pesantren. Teori yang digunakan adalah disonansi kognitif. Metodologi penelitian menggunakan paradigma post-positivistik dengan pendekatan mixed methods. Populasi sejumlah 976.504 masyarakat dan sampel 475 responden dengan teknik random sederhana. Metode pengambilan data menggunakan survei dan wawancara mendalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan masyarakat dapat mengurangi disonansi kognitif, mereka menganggap bahwa pondok pesantren adalah tempat yang paling aman untuk memperdalam ilmu agama, melatih kemandirian dan memperoleh banyak teman. Orang tua beranggapan tidak semua pesantren terjadi kekerasan fisik dan kekerasan seksual. Hasil penelitian yang kedua yaitu pengaruh terpaan media massa terhadap minat orang tua memondokkan anak di pesantren sangat kecil hanya 7,29% sedangkan citra pesantren memberikan pengaruh terhadap minat orang tua memondokkan anak di pesantren sebesar 26,21%. Secara bersama-sama terpaan media massa dan citra pondok memberikan pengaruh sebesar 34,8% terhadap minat orang tua memondokkan anak di pesantren. Sedangkan terpaan media massa tidak memberikan pengaruh terhadap minat orang tua memondokkan anak di pesantren melalui variabel intervening citra pesantren.
