Abstract

The development of technology and mass media has had an impact on people's mental well-being. One of them is the increasing prevalence of mental health disorders, such as depression and anxiety, which are directly related to social media use, work pressure, and the social isolation that results from digital life. The aim of this research is to examine the role of mass media in increasing awareness and access to mental health services. The research method used is descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach, involving surveys and interviews with respondents representing various age groups and social backgrounds. Data were collected to evaluate the extent to which mass media provide accurate and educational information about mental health and facilitate access to appropriate support services. The research results show that mass media has an important role in increasing public awareness about mental health issues. Articles, television programs and online campaigns have succeeded in turning negative stigma into a broader understanding of mental health. In addition, the media also plays a role in promoting available mental health services, such as counseling and therapy, thereby increasing accessibility for individuals who need them. The conclusion of this research confirms that mass media has great potential to be an effective tool in overcoming the mental health crisis in the digital era. By providing appropriate and educational information and facilitating access to mental health services, mass media can act as an agent of positive change in an effort to improve people's mental well-being. Therefore, cooperation between the government, health institutions and mass media is very important to create a supportive environment for individuals who experience mental health problems in this digital era.

Abstract

Tren prevalensi gagal ginjal kronik setiap tahun terus menunjukkan peningkatan.

Abstract

E-learning in anesthesiology nursing faces challenges like finding practice materials, mastering ETT and LMA techniques, and tool damage. This research aims to develop an android application model to support valid and effective learning for endotracheal tube and laryngeal mask airway intubation for nursing students. This research uses Research and Development (R&D) method with the 4D model by Thiagarajan and just untill a limited group trial. Quantitative method of data collection techniques using a questionnaire. Questionnaire given to material experts and media experts to test product eligibility and use of knowledge questionnaires as well and also System Usability Scale for students to test the effectiveness and acceptance. Result of this research show that the material experts assessment was 92.00% which was classified as very feasible and media experts was 98.52% which was classified as very feasible. Results of pretest and posttest analyzed by wilcoxon test from 34 students obtained results of 0.000 which were significant as well. System Usability Scale result was 85.66 classified acceptable with adjective rating B or good. This Android- based application is very feasible and can be used as a support for learning on the topic or material for ETT intubation and LMA intubation.

Abstract

The healthcare sector faces increasing pressure to improve efficiency in patient management due to rising demands for services and limited nursing resources. The integration of wearable devices in healthcare offers a promising solution to enhance nursing efficiency by providing real-time monitoring and data collection. This study aims to explore the impact of wearable devices on nursing efficiency, particularly in the management of patients with chronic conditions. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining quantitative analysis of patient outcomes and qualitative interviews with healthcare professionals using wearable technology in clinical settings. The results show that the use of wearable devices led to a 20% reduction in nurse workload, as real-time monitoring allowed for early detection of health issues, reducing the need for frequent in-person checks. Additionally, patient satisfaction increased by 15% due to the continuous monitoring and prompt intervention facilitated by wearable devices. The study concludes that wearable devices can significantly enhance nursing efficiency and improve patient outcomes, particularly in chronic disease management. The integration of these devices into healthcare systems has the potential to alleviate nursing shortages, improve patient care, and optimize resource allocation. However, challenges such as data security and device integration must be addressed for widespread adoption.

Abstract

Mood disorders, including depression and bipolar disorder, are pervasive mental health conditions that significantly impair emotional regulation, cognitive functioning, and daily life. Advances in neuropsychology have provided valuable insights into the neural mechanisms underlying mood disorders, yet their integration into therapeutic interventions remains underexplored. This study investigates the influence of neuropsychological principles on the effectiveness of therapeutic techniques in managing mood disorders. The research aimed to evaluate the impact of neuropsychology-informed therapeutic techniques on emotional regulation, cognitive performance, and symptom severity in patients with mood disorders. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining a randomized controlled trial (RCT) with qualitative interviews. The study involved 120 participants diagnosed with mood disorders, divided into intervention and control groups. The intervention group received a 10-week program integrating cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based techniques, and neurofeedback training, while the control group received standard care. Findings revealed significant improvements in emotional regulation and cognitive functioning among the intervention group compared to the control group (p < 0.01). Participants in the intervention group also reported reduced symptom severity and increased resilience.
