Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan buku cerita bergambar dalam meningkatkan kemampuan empati peserta didik usia dini di RA Miftahul Ulum Jarin Pademawu. Kegiatan penelitian dilaksanakan selama satu minggu, 20 Agustus 2025 - 23 September 2025, dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 15 anak, guru kelas, dan orang tua. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara semi-terstruktur, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan buku cerita bergambar mampu menstimulasi perkembangan empati secara signifikan. Peserta didik menunjukkan peningkatan perilaku sosial positif seperti berbagi, membantu teman, dan menanggapi perasaan tokoh dalam cerita dengan ekspresi emosional yang sesuai. Guru berperan penting dalam memberikan bimbingan reflektif dan mengaitkan nilai-nilai dalam cerita dengan pengalaman sehari-hari anak. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada integrasi aktivitas refleksi terarah dalam kegiatan membaca cerita yang dirancang untuk menguatkan empati melalui pengalaman emosional dan sosial langsung. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa buku cerita bergambar dapat dijadikan sebagai media strategis dalam pembelajaran berbasis karakter, khususnya untuk menanamkan nilai empati di lingkungan PAUD.

Abstract

Hadith memorization in early childhood education is still largely dominated by repetitive and teacher-centered instructional practices that limit children’s engagement and holistic learning development. Although previous studies have reported positive effects of movement-based or song-based strategies, most investigations have examined these approaches separately. Empirical evidence that integrates movement and song as a unified multisensory instructional strategy in early childhood hadith learning remains limited, indicating the need for further investigation. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of integrating movement and song as a multisensory strategy in enhancing early childhood hadith memorization across cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. A Classroom Action Research design was employed involving 22 children aged 4–5 years and conducted over two instructional cycles. The learning intervention integrated simple body movements and rhythmic songs aligned with the meaning and sequence of selected short hadiths. Data were collected through structured observation sheets assessing memorization accuracy, learning engagement, and movement coordination, and analyzed using percentage-based achievement indicators supported by descriptive qualitative analysis. The results indicate consistent improvement across all domains. Cognitive achievement increased from 23% to 77%, affective engagement improved from 68% to 86%, and psychomotor performance increased from 64% to 82%. The novelty of this study lies in its empirical evidence that the integration of movement and song functions as a coherent multisensory pedagogical framework rather than as separate instructional techniques, offering a developmentally appropriate alternative to conventional rote memorization practices in early childhood Islamic education.

Abstract

The study was conducted to analyse the implementation of Lego games to internalise the values of the 1945 Constitution of Indonesia in the formation of the character of children in early childhood. The study used a qualitative descriptive approach, conducted during the second semester of 2026 at RA Nahdlatul Ulum Pakes, with 16 preschool children as subjects. Data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study conducted by the researcher indicate that internalisation of the values of pancasila using lego games in a structured manner through group activities, discussions, role plays and joint task completion can internalise the values of pancasila, responsibility, gotong royong and musyawarah. This activity increases children's involvement and develops their ability to work together and communicate. However, some children were unable to participate optimally due to differences in character, self-confidence, and communication skills. This study shows the positive impact of Lego on children and demonstrates that it can be used as a relevant teaching strategy to support the formation of children's characters through meaningful learning.

Abstract

Penanaman nilai-nilai Pancasila pada anak usia dini merupakan hal yang penting sebagai upaya dalam memperkuat rasa nasionalisme di era globalisasi. Namun, implementasi nilai-nilai tersebut dalam pembelajaran masih membutuhkan cara yang tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan nilai-nilai Pancasila untuk menguatkan rasa nasionalisme anak usia dini melalui kegiatan membaca. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan penelitian deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah 15 anak usia 5-6 tahun dengan teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan kegiatan membaca melalui buku cerita dan diskusi mampu meningkatkan nilai-nilai Pancasila dan memperkuat rasa nasionalisme. Hal ini terlihat dalam berkembangnya sikap gotong royong, cinta tanah air, disiplin. Anak mampu menunjukkan sikap peduli, bekerjasama, dan menghargai temannya. Proses internalisasi nilai dilakukan dengan empat tahap, yaitu kenali, selidiki, lakukan, dan genapi, yang dilaksanakan dengan aktif dan menyenangkan. Dengan demikian, kegiatan membaca terbukti efektif dalam memperkuat rasa nasionalisme anak usia dini dengan pengalaman belajar yang kontekstual dan bermakna..
