Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analysis whether there is any influence of Perceived value towards Customers purchase intention in Wakaka Medan. This research might help other researcher to get more information about this topic. Perceived value is considered as a customer that comparing the benefits to be received with the sacrifice that they made to obtain a product / service which can increase customers purchase intention. For the research design the researcher using quantitative method as the research design The writers using IBM SPSS Statistic 25. The data use in this research are primary and secondary data. For the data analysis method, the writer used descriptive statistic, validity & reliability, normality test, correlation coefficient test, determination test, linear regression test and t test. The result of the normality test shows that the questioner is normally distributed. While the coefficient of correlation test and coefficient of determination test shows that Perceived Value have a weak relationship towards Purchase Intention. After done with the research and analysis, can be conclude that Perceived Value have a weak relationship towards Purchase Intention in Wakaka Medan.Keywords: Perceived Value, Purchase Intention, Influence between perceived value and purchase intention.

Abstract

Marriott Cafe is a part of JW Marriott Hotel Medan which is the first and only International five-star luxury hotel in Medan and is managed by Marriott International. As the brand holds: service excellence is one of the most vital factors to the hotel’s success, it gradually trains its entire staff to ensure a high level of service is received by all guests.Based on the theory and the experience of the writer duringinternship at the company, the intention of this research is to find out about “The Influence of Motivation on Employee Performance at Marriott Cafe in Medan”. The main purpose of this research is to find out whether motivation influences employee performance.The quantitative research method with descriptive approachis used in this research to describe the current condition at the research objectby using online questionnaire with interval scale to develop a hypothesis. The number of samplesis from the population, 46 people. However, due to the limited time and condition faced recently, the returned number of questionnaire data is 38 people.The result of this research shows that motivation has 48.6%influence on employee performance. The remaining 51.4% is affected by other variables outside this research. The result of the hypothesis with t-test proved that the null hypothesis is rejected, and the alternative hypothesis is accepted which means that there is a relationship between motivation and employee performance.In conclusion, motivation and employee performance have a strong correlation and motivation positively and significantly influences employee performance. This research is useful for the company to have an insight into the subject discussed, and further research is required.Keywords: Hospitality Management, Motivation, Employee Performance

Abstract

Pada awal terjadinya pandemi COVID 19, telah terjadi banyak hal yang mengakibatkan perubahan di tengah masyarakat. Salah satunya adalah di kegiatan belajar mengajar. Berangkat dari hal tersebut maka pada pertengahan Agustus 2020 dimulailah satu kegiatan untuk membantu para guru yang ada di daerah untuk bisa beradaptasi dengan perubahan terkait kegiatan belajar mengajar pada masa pandemi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dalam beberapa bulan dengan dua kegiatan utama dilaksanakan secara daring dan kegiatan pendampingan juga secara daring. Pada April 2021 didapatkanlah hasil dari kegiatan ini yang sebagian besar menilai kegiatan positif dan membantu dalam aplikasi kegiatan belajar mengajar. Hanya saja yang disayangkan kegiatan ini tidak menjangkau banyak peserta.

Abstract

Online shopping business method has been implemented by most businesses since the advancement of technology. Therefore, this research is conducted to recognize the market profile of Toko Buku Bina Usaha and to identify whether there is a market opportunity to implement online shopping on Toko Buku Bina Usaha or not. The methodology used in this research is quantitative inferential statistic method involving 132 respondents which are selected by convenience sampling method. The data collection methods of this research are interview, questionnaire, observation, IT interview and library research. Based on the finding, it can be concluded that there is market opportunity to apply online shopping method (online website) on Toko Buku Bina Usaha as part of its marketing strategy

Abstract

This research was conducted at D’Raja Coffee Multatuli Medan. This study tries to examine and evaluate the influence of hygiene standard implementation on customers’ perception of service during COVID-19. Data was gathered by the observation, interviews, and questionnaires shared with the consumers. The research sample is 83 respondents. Hygiene Standard Implementation Influences Customers’ Perception in Service at D’Raja Coffee Multatuli Medan. The Coefficient of Determination Test results attained the R squared value is 0.174 which shows that 17.4% of the dependent variable Customers’ Perception in Service at D’Raja Coffee Multatuli Medan can be described through Hygiene Standard Implementation during COVID-19 while they remain 63% is described through the other variables that were not implemented in this research. As the research conclusion is Hygiene Standard Implementation Influences Customers’ Perception of Service during COVID-19 at D’Raja Coffee Multatuli Medan.

Abstract

Survey is conducted to understand how perception of food quality by its customers of City Ice Cream Cafe in Medan Fair Plaza influence their satisfaction. This research used primary and secondary data in order to obtain information needed. The result of coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.225. It means that the 77.5% of customer satisfaction is influenced by food quality and the remaining 22.5% is influenced by other variables besides this research. The result of t-test hypothesis indicates that t-count value obtained is 4.844 that will be compared with t-table in amount of 1.664. T-count (4.844) is greater than the value of t-table (1.664). Therefore, hypothesis alternative (H1) is accepted that there is a significant relationship between food quality and customer satisfaction at City Ice Cream Cafe Medan Fair. As the recommendation, restaurant should pay more attention on its food quality in order to improve the restaurant.Keywords: Food Quality, Customer Satisfaction, and City Ice Cream Cafe Medan Fair

Abstract

This study aims to find factor analysis of components that create community hospitality in tourist areas of the Penyengat island of Tanjung Pinang town in Riau Archipelago Province which are in the form of resources and social culture. This study uses qualitative descriptive research regarding the concept of tourism and hospitality population in this study is a form of social situation in the Penyengat Island with participants that are inside that community, tourists and institutional as well as tourism industry players in the region. Instruments in this study are observation and interviews. The interview is conducted with model of coding, interpretation and congrulation. These results indicate that the factor analysis of the hospitality community rating which consists of resources and socio-cultural community, institution or organization in the Penyengat Island.Keywords: tourism, community, tourism industry, institutional

Abstract

Internship activities are carried out in universities to introduce the working world to students in the future. This is important to be examined, especially in terms of the effectiveness of the program that has been implemented. By conducting a survey of students who have undergone the internship process, a clearer picture can be obtained of overall student satisfaction in response to the placement process during the internship. There are five factors emerge from the data analysis, namely interpersonal skills, work environment, culture, challenges, and benefit.
