Abstract

Orang tua merupakan sosok yang paling berpengaruh dalam fase penting ini. Sehingga penting bagi orang tua untuk memiliki pengetahuan terkait dengan perkembangan anak agar dapat menunjukan pola pengasuhan yang mampu membantu proses tumbuh kembang anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan orang tua terkait perkembangan anak usia 0-2 tahun untuk aspek perkembangan kognitif, sosio-emosi dan motoric. Jumlah subjek penelitian ini yaitu 179 orang yang terdiri dari 152 orang perempuan dan 27 orang laki-laki. Adapun teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah nonprobability sampling dengan teknik purposive sampling. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitiatif. Hasil menunjukan bahwa sebanyak 109 (60,9%) orang tua memiliki pengetahuan yang dengan kategori tinggi dan sebanyak 70 (39,1%) orang tua memiliki pengetahuan yang rendah terkait perkembangan anak. Secara keseluruhan terdapat perbedaan antara tingkat pengetahuan ayah dengan tingkat pengetahuan ibu (sig.0.046).

Abstract

This research is aimed to know the relationship between self-efficacy and academic procrastination toward students in second year at senior high school state 9 of Padang. Respondents that are used in the research are the students in second year at senior high school state 9 of Padang. The research is conducted to the 66 students in second year and in the academic year of 2008/2009, where the respondents' determination is done by random sampling technique. The technique of data collecting is used the Likert scale models. That is the scale of self-efficacy and The Procrastination Assesment Scale-Students (PASS) that is developed by Solomon and Rothblum (1994). The methode for analyzing data that is used for testing hyphotesis in the research is the correlation Product Moment (Pearson). Before conducting hyphotesis test, firts, it must done of using test assumptions by normality and linearity test. The result of data analysis shows efficacy scores are at a moderate scale (60,6%), and also the procrastination academic scores are at a moderate scale (72,73%). From the result of data processing is obtained p = 0,000 < 0,01 with a correlation coefficient -0,574 it means hyphotesis is accepted. The result shows there is a negative and significant relationship between self-efficacy and academic procrastination toward the students in the second year at senior high school state 9 of Padang, with the effective contribution of 33%. Thus, it can be concluded that if the higher self-efficacy, then the lower the students' academic procrastination behavior. Conversely, the lower of the self-efficacy, the higher the students' academic procrastination behavior

Abstract

The aggressive behavior of adolescents in the Padang is very unsettling and even leads to criminal. The impact of this aggressive behavior can be detrimental to adolescents, their families and communities. The purpose this activity to reduce the aggressive behavior of adolescents through Rational Emotive-Behavior Therapy (REBT) and Assertive Training (AT). The participants of this activity consisted of teenagers from public senior high school 15 Padang and 9 Padang. A total of 36 students from these schools were formed into 2 therapeutic groups. Criteria for participants in this activity are students with aggressive behavior and declare willingness to follow the activity for two weeks. Before and after therapy, adolescents were given the Agression Questionaire (AQ) questionnaire to measure the aggressive behavior of adolescents. Data were analyzed using paired t-test. The results show that there were significant changes in the aggressive behavior of adolescents before and after REBT-AT. Significant changes were found in the physical aggression and hostility. However, in verbal aggression and anger there were no significant changes. Based on the results, REBT-AT has not reduced all components of adolescent aggressive behavior. Ideally, to get maximum results, therapy should be given for 4 weeks for REBT and 4 weeks for AT. Therefore, it needs further evaluation for 8 weeks to find out the results of the program to reduce aggressive behavior.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara big five personality dengan intensi berbagi informasi di media sosial. Responden penelitian ini adalah 541 mahasiswa (Laki-laki : 190; Perempuan : 351). Data dikumpulkan dengan Skala Intensi Berbagi Informasi di Media Sosial dan Big Five Inventory (BFI). Proses analisis dilakukan dengan analisis korelasi product moment. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada korelasi positif yang signifikan antara intensi berbagi informasi di media sosial dengan beberapa dimensi big five personality, yaitu dimensi exstraversion (r=.0354; p<0.01), conscientiousness (r=0.289; p<0.01), agreeableness (r=0.413; p<0.01), dan openness (r=0.165; p<0.01). Sedangkan untuk dimensi kepribadian neuroticsm berkorelasi negatif secara signifikan dengan intensi berbagi informasi di media sosial (r=-0.087; p<0.05). Hasil penelitian menegaskan bahwa faktor kepribadian penting untuk dipertimbangkan dalam menjelaskan perilaku berbagi informasi di media sosial.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat gambaran tekanan (strain) dan beban (burden) pada caregiver penderita psikotik di RSJ Prof. HB Sa’anin Padang. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 150 orang caregiver yang melakukan kontrol rutin untuk keluarganya yang menderita  psikotik. Data diperoleh dengan menggunakan skala The Modiffied Caregiver Strain Index (MCSI) dan Zarit Burden Interview (ZBI) versi bahasa Indonesia dan telah diujicobakan kembali dengan nilai koefisien reliabilitas (α) 0,877 untuk MCSI dan 0,907 untuk ZBI. Data penelitian yang diperoleh kemudian diolah secara deskriptif untuk menggambarkan dan mengkategorisasikan tingkat tekanan (strain) dan beban (burden) yang dirasakan oleh caregiver. Hasil yang didapatkan menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas subjek (70%) memiliki skor tekanan caregiver berada pada kategori normal, sedangnya sisanya 30% berada pada kategori tinggi. Sementara untuk skor beban caregiver mayoritas berada pada kategori ringan (43,3%),  selanjutnya  pada  kategori  sedikit  atau tidak ada beban sebanyak 38%, dan 16,7% pada kategori sedang, serta 2% pada kategori berat. Selain itu, dari data demografi subjek terlihat bahwa usia caregiver  terbanyak berada pada usia 39-58  tahun (46%), dan mayoritas caregiver perempuan (66%). Pendidikan subjek paling banyak adalah  SMA (33,3%), dan jenis gangguan psikotik terbanyak yang dialami salah satu anggota keluarganya adalah skizofrenia paranoid (58,7%).

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 berdampak pada mahasiswa belajar dari rumah secara online (daring) selama masa karantina dapat menurunkan motivasi mahasiswa karena kepuasan belajar menjadi terganggu akibat literasi digital yang rendah dan penyesuaian belajar saat di rumah. Masalah-masalah psikologis juga timbul, sehingga dibutuhkan ketahanan psikologis menghadapi situasi yang tidak menyenangkan dan kemampuan beradaptasi, yaitu resiliensi akademik untuk menjadi faktor kepuasan belajar online pada mahasiswa selama pandemi Covid-19. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan resiliensi akademik dengan kepuasan belajar online pada mahasiswa selama proses pembelajaran jarak jauh. Metode penelitian dibagi dalam dua tahap yakni secara kualitatif melalui 19 buah pertanyaan terbuka kepada 11 orang mahasiswa untuk merumuskan konstruk pengukuran dan secara kuantitatif menguji validitas aitem pengukuran tersebut dengan program SPSS pada 116 mahasiswa melalui survei google form. Dari hasil uji korelasi pearson sebesar 0.473 dan P<0.000 , maka diperoleh hubungan antara resiliensi akademik dengan kepuasan belajar online, sehingga kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu hipotesa diterima. Hasil penelitian ini bermanfaat bagi mahasiswa untuk meningkatkan faktor-faktor kepuasan selama belajar dari rumah, salah satunya melalui faktor resiliensi, yang akan dibahas pada tulisan ini.

Abstract

Tantrums are outbursts of anger and they can occur at any age. An attitude tantrum or what is commonly referred to as a temper tantrum is a child's outburst of anger that often occurs when a child shows negative behavior. Emotional outbursts of tantrums that occur in children with autism are not only to seek the attention of adults, but also as an outlet for a child's feelings for parents and those around him on a whim or feeling he is feeling, but the child cannot convey it. For this reason, researchers propose a system for detecting early symptoms of tantrums in children with autism through facial expressions with CNN. The CNN method is one of the deep learning methods that can be used to recognize and classify an object in a digital image. Then the preprocessing process is carried out using labeling on the data. Then the CNN architecture is designed with input containing 48x48x1 neurons. The data was then trained using 357 epochs with an accuracy rate of 72.67%%. Then tested using test data for children with autism to get an average accuracy value of 72.67%%.

Abstract

The research aim to see does psychoeducation given to caregivers will affect knowledge and caregiver’s burden. The research approach is quasi-experimental with a nonrandomized pretest- posttest control group design. The research participants were 17 people (9 in the experimental & 8 in the control). The given of psychoeducation carried out in experimental group, while control group in the form of sharing sessions. Both groups given pretest & posttest. Caregiver knowledge measured using Schizophrenia Knowledge Scale, while caregiver burden measured using Zarith Burden Interview (ZBI). Data obtained were processed using Mann-Whitney U test to know the level of treatment effect using the effect size. The results showed difference in the increase of knowledge about schizophrenia and also a decrease in the burden felt by the schizophrenia’s caregiver between the experimental & the control groups. Thus, the results of the research indicate the given of psychoeducation is proven to increase the caregiver's knowledge, and to reduce the burden felt by schizophrenia's caregiver. Based on the calculation result on the effect size obtained a value of 0.49 for the knowledge and 0.69 for the burden. Keywords: burden, caregiver, knowledge, psychoeducation, schizophrenia

This research aimed to see the correlation between self compassion with loneliness in overseas students of Andalas University. The research method used in this study was quantitative method. The UCLA Loneliness Scale (Version 3) and Neff Self-Compassion Scale was used as measuring instrument in this research. The subjects in this research amounted to 100 people who were obtained using accidental sampling technique. The data was analyzed using Pearson Product Moment correlation analysis. The result of the correlation analysis showed that there was a significant negative relationship at the moderate level between self compassion and loneliness in overseas students of Andalas University (r=-0,538; p=0,000). It means that the higher the self compassion possessed by overseas students of Andalas University, the loneliness that they feel will be lower. The calculation of hypothetical scores indicate that perceived loneliness and self-compassion possessed by the overseas students of Andalas University were in the moderate category. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 100 orang yang didapatkan menggunakan teknik accidental sampling. Pengolahan data dilakukan menggunakan analisis korelasi Pearson Product Moment. Hasil analisis korelasi menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif yang signifikan pada taraf sedang antara self compassion dengan kesepian pada mahasiswa perantau Universitas Andalas (r=-0,538; p=0,000). Artinya, semakin tinggi self compassion yang dimiliki oleh mahasiswa perantau Universitas Andalas, kesepian yang dirasakan akan semakin rendah. Hasil perhitungan skor hipotetik menunjukkan bahwa kesepian yang dirasakan dan self compassion yang dimiliki oleh mahasiswa perantau Universitas Andalas berada pada kategori sedang. Jika dilihat dari jenis kelamin, tidak terdapat perbedaan kesepian yang dirasakan oleh mahasiswa perantau Universitas Andalas yang berjenis kelamin laki-laki dan perempuan.Kata Kunci: Kesepian, Mahasiswa Perantau, Self Compassion
