Abstract

Green economy adalah sebuah konsep yang meninjau aspek ekonomi melalui kegiatan pembangunan dengan tidak mengesampingkan kelestarian lingkungan. Upaya pengelolaan sampah jika dilihat dari kacamata ekonomi merupakan wujud dari green ekonomi. Limbah minyak jelantah merupakan isu lingkungan yang mendesak di banyak daerah perkotaan. Di Kelurahan Kameloh Baru, limbah minyak jelantah yang dihasilkan oleh rumah tangga dan warung makan telah mencapai tingkat yang mengkhawatirkan. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan metode pengolahan limbah minyak jelantah menjadi lilin aroma terapi yang efektif dan berkelanjutan. Metode pengolahan melibatkan pengumpulan limbah minyak jelantah, penyaringan, pencucian, peleburan lilin, penambahan aroma, penuangan, dan pembentukan lilin. Limbah minyak jelantah yang telah diolah menjadi lilin aroma terapi memiliki nilai tambah yang signifikan, mengubah limbah menjadi produk yang dapat digunakan oleh masyarakat dengan aroma yang menyenangkan. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan melakukan survei lapangan dan pelatihan. Hasil Pengabdian kepada masyarakat menunjukkan bahwa pengolahan limbah minyak jelantah menjadi lilin aroma terapi cukup efektif dalam mengurangi dampak negatif limbah dan mengoptimalkan penggunaan limbah yang sebelumnya tidak bernilai.

Abstract

This comparative analysis explores the economic impacts of sustainable tourism on local communities in Bali and North Sumatra, Indonesia. The study highlights the significance of understanding the specific contexts of these regions and examines the economic benefits, challenges, and policy initiatives related to sustainable tourism development. The research methodology involved a comprehensive literature review and data analysis. The selection criteria for comparative analysis and the variables and indicators used were carefully considered to ensure a comprehensive examination of the economic impacts of sustainable tourism in Bali and North Sumatra. The findings reveal positive economic outcomes in both regions, including job creation, income generation, and support for local businesses. However, Bali exhibits a more significant economic impact with its more developed tourism industry than North Sumatra. This difference can be attributed to factors such as higher tourist influx and better tourism infrastructure in Bali. The comparative analysis also uncovers common challenges locals face in both regions, including infrastructure development, resource management, cultural preservation, community engagement, capacity building, marketing strategies, and equitable distribution of benefits. Addressing these challenges is essential for sustaining the economic benefits of sustainable tourism and ensuring the preservation of natural and cultural resources. In conclusion, this comparative analysis highlights the economic impacts of sustainable tourism in Bali and North Sumatra. It emphasizes the need to address challenges and implement effective policies to maximize economic benefits and ensure a more equitable distribution for local communities.

The outcomes demonstrate that representatives in the computerized business world see a respectably certain work-life congruity, and they report an elevated degree of hierarchical help. Critically, a positive connection between work-life concordance and representative prosperity is noticed, featuring the meaning of accomplishing a decent expert and individual life. Furthermore, the study underscores the pivotal role of organizational support mechanisms, such as mental health resources and flexible work arrangements, in enhancing employee well-being. The implications of this study are twofold. First, it offers practical guidance for digital businesses to prioritize work-life harmony and strengthen organizational support to foster employee well-being. Second, it highlights the universal importance of these factors in the digital business context, reaffirming their relevance in an ever-changing landscape. Future research directions include longitudinal studies and a more in-depth exploration of industry-specific nuances. This study's overall significance lies in its role as a compass, guiding organizations toward a future where employee well-being and business success are intricately intertwined.

Abstract

This research investigates the intricate relationship between monetary policy, transmission mechanisms, and economic growth in Indonesia using an empirical approach employing the Vector Autoregression (VAR) model. In the ever-evolving landscape of global economics, the role of monetary policy in promoting stability and growth is pivotal, especially for emerging economies like Indonesia. The study delves into the specific context of Indonesia, a country that has experienced periods of economic growth amid challenges such as fluctuating inflation rates, exchange rates, and external shocks. The research explores how the central bank, Bank Indonesia, employs monetary policy tools to navigate these challenges and assesses the impact of these policies on the nation's economic growth. Furthermore, it examines the transmission mechanisms propagating these effects, including interest rates, exchange rates, and bank lending. It also scrutinizes the presence of time lags, the magnitude and direction of these effects, and the influence of external factors. The findings of this study are expected to have significant implications for policymakers, central banks, investors, and the broader academic community. Understanding monetary policy dynamics in a globalized world marked by economic volatility is critical for making informed policy decisions.

Abstract

In the context of globalization, this study assessed the impact of trade liberalization on economic growth in developing economies and provided essential policy implications. Utilizing a comparative analysis, historical perspectives, and quantitative measures, we examined case studies of developing nations to understand the dynamic relationship between trade liberalization and economic growth. The results demonstrated that trade liberalization has generally yielded positive outcomes, fostering economic growth and integration into the global economy. Developing countries that actively engaged in trade liberalization experienced increased foreign direct investment, expanded exports, and enhanced economic development. However, the study also identified various factors influencing this relationship, including institutional factors, human capital, investment in infrastructure, and political stability. In the context of globalization, the study highlighted the profound impact of international trade agreements and the need for responsive trade policy reforms. Lessons from the comparative analysis were used to provide practical recommendations for developing economies. These recommendations emphasize the importance of nurturing human capital, promoting sound governance, and investing in critical infrastructure. While acknowledging the potential challenges and risks, this research underlines the significance of carefully crafted trade policies to harness the benefits of trade liberalization and ensure sustainable economic growth.

The study revealed nuanced socioeconomic impacts, with 58% perceiving positive effects on economic growth but 32% expressing concerns about potential disparities. Insights into behavioral aspects indicated a delicate balance, with 68% recognizing technology's positive influence on compliance behavior, while 45% voiced concerns about its potential misuse. The synthesis of these dimensions underscores the intricate interplay shaping tax technology policies.
